I pass by this nail supply store almost every day and had always wanted to stop in but never had the chance until recently. I've been doing my own nails for a few years now to save money, since salon visits can get expensive. I love my regular nail tech and her work lasts 3-4 weeks, but I only see her once or twice a year because of the cost. The store had most of what I needed, though I didn't notice many options for UV lamps or the desk lamps you usually see in salons. The space is fairly large and well organized, but the aisles are narrow, so it can feel tight if more than one person is browsing. I was there to restock gel nail tips and extension gel. I searched every aisle and couldn't find the tips I wanted, but just as I was about to leave, I noticed them behind the register. It seems like the Apres products are kept behind the counter. I also picked up a color combo I've been wanting to try for a while. Prices were slightly cheaper than online -- not by a huge margin -- but I needed the items right away, so I was glad to find everything locally. read more

I do my own nails at home, I saw this place had really good reviews. Unfortunately for me, I didn't feel welcomed. When I walked in they just stared me down. I was trying to decide on a good base color so I was taking my time and when I noticed I looked back the guy worker was just standing there behind me staring at me. It made me so uncomfortable. I still spent $20 but after drove to another nail supply so much closer to my house, immediately I was welcomed and greeted. It made me feel better than my last experience. I'm glad I found the second spot with the same stuff also about $2 less. Will not be going back here. They should think about how uncomfortable and racist it is for them to do that. Girl, the register is friendly. A lot of popular colors that I seen on TikTok were out of stock. I don't know how long it takes them to stock up on things that they were missing from shelves. I recommend you call them and ask them if they have a certain color or specific item you like from a certain brand before heading over there. Great prices. read more

If you're in the nail business or just love doing your own nails, this is the place to go! They have an infinity amount of nail polishes, brands, and supplies--seriously, it's stocked with everything you could ever need. Julie was so helpful and patient while I struggled to choose. She even put out samples on a clear plastic piece so I could see what the colors actually looked like, which was super helpful since sometimes the little samples on display don't match perfectly. If you're unsure about a shade, definitely ask to test it on a clear plastic piece first! Overall, such a great experience, and I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend! read more

Not sure how this place got such high reviews. The place is really tight and cramped and the staff weren't very welcoming. When we asked questions they treated us like we were interrupting their day. There wasn't a ton of variety when it comes to nail art. Also, prices are at least $1-2 more than other nail supply shops in the area. The only plus to coming here is that their DND gel polish sets were $5.50. Also thought it was very shady how they didn't have price tags on most of their merchandise. This review has been long overdue . I've been a customer since 2015 and to this day they have always been the most affordable nail supply store I've ever been to. They carry EVERYTHING from high end brands to super affordable great quality brands. I moved away and still drive an hour and a half to come restock here. I bought an $8 kiara sky gel polish and I made the mistake of not opening it before I bought it. I bought the color lilac and when I opened it at home it was a green color and it didn't even have the brush to put it on your nails. Very disappointing UPDATE: The owner of the store messaged me right away apologizing for the inconvenience and told me to come back so I could exchange it. When I went to exchange it they apologized again and allowed me to exchange it and they also gave me a free nail polish for my trouble. I made my way to Nailis because I saw that they stocked Presto and at least Vetro's Gold Line. I typically buy them online, and I was hoping to save on shipping, because I can't be bothered to drive out to LA or OC just for nail polish. Gonna be honest, the selection is kind of slim for those two products. I think based off just that, I would have given the place a 3 star review, but it seemed kind of unfair. They don't carry Vetro pods or the black line. They only have the gold line. Both Presto and Vetro have online sales often, and it didn't make sense for me to pay full price for the selection they had. I think if I'm in a pinch, it's convenient having a shop close by to get stuff from, but you'd have to be in luck if you were looking for something specific. On the flip side, I think if you're looking for dip powders, stickers, and regular polish, there's a really decent selection, and I think the prices on those were pretty good. The store seemed pretty organized too, so if you know what you're looking for, you should be able to find it quickly. read more

Yay another one of these supply houses in my hood. The good thing about this nail supply store is that it's connected to the hair supply store. HUMONGOuS. Will probably have most of everything you're looking for for cheap. As for me, I came for nail polish. Essie nail polish goes for about $6-$8 at your neighborhood drugstore but is only $3.50 here. YEEE. Since it's fairly new, everything is neat and organized. Ventilation is good so you won't be overwhelmed by the chemical smells. Can't wait to come back. I went to Dtla the day before and had no luck finding what I needed. Found this place on yelp and it has literally everything you could think of. This place was easy to find in the corner of a strip mall. All the staff was super helpful and were all wearing masks. Everything was very tidy and they only let in a couple people in at a time and only 2 per household. Their dnd polish was buy 5 get one free and they give a free gift with purchase. Picked up some decals as well and definitely plan on coming back for a uv lamp. read more

This place is great! The shelves are stacked full of products, but the store is quite small, so be prepared to say a lot of "Excuse me's" and crouch a bit to find what you want. All good though, the prices are great! As of right now, I saw that OPI polishes are $14. (Not sure if this is gel only or regular as well.) I bought Essie gel polishes for $9, Le Chat Perfect Match duos were $9, China Gelaze for $5, IBD gel polishes for $6. The store was quite busy, but the workers were still helpful and friendly. I do wish prices were listed on the displays, it would've been a lot more efficient for me to make my decisions! Overall, great place. read more

I had a pleasant experience here and the variety is great. I believe some products are targeted towards nail salon shop owners too since they have products for sale in bulk or random things like the nail polish color plastic example nails. Upon entering I was immediately breathing in nail fumes or chemical fumes like you would in possibly a salon with low ventilation. You get used to it but it may be something you want to be aware of if you're sensitive to it. It's also a little wee dusty in there on the shelves. The front staff is nice. Staff that are walking around the store don't really acknowledge you but you can always ask if you need something. The cashier who helped me was really informative and kind. The prices are really good for polishes and some bulk items or miscellaneous display supplies if you're a salon owner. Polishes are a good price compared to other shops online or the big retail box places. The overpriced items are the UV / LED curing lamps (same brand and model cheaper online by $20-$50). and some accessories like tweezers. Dude I saw tweezers for over $45 I'm like WHAT da fuq. Those tweezers better be made out of real gold. The cheapest tweezers were $6 which is still pricey o.O. I paid $8 something a bottle for gel Essie polishes. It's about $9-$11 online. I like that they have a lot of nail polish brands and colors to choose from. Nail stickers, files, brushes, dip powders, gems, acrylic tips in every color or design imaginable. Walls and walls of nail files to choose from. I didn't seem to find nail forms for those who prefer not to use tips and sculpt acrylics. I also couldn't find the wax for at home waxing like in the photos. I'll have to come back and check. again. If you purchase a few polishes, they put it in a cute little OPI gift box thing. Well it's just card board with sectioned slots but it looks neat. I got free cuticle oil with my purchase. So they give random gifts sometimes. Will return! read more

The reason why they got 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is that the prices keep changing depending on who is working that day. Essie's nail polish range from 3-4$ and with or without tax depending on who is working, rather than your form of payment. OPI is 30% off 8 bucks??? really? I can go to the Valley Nail Supply House for $4 OPIs instead. I really, really want to like you, but you need to stop toying with my emotions! Updating again just as FYI - Essies are $3.50/bottle (apparently this started on 11/1/13). OPIs are still $4.50, and they have a display full of marked-down bottles as low as $2.75. Also, siding with Jessie L. about the packaging - yes, there is a difference in packaging between what you buy at Target/etc. and at the nail supply shops (let's remember that nail supply shops are usually geared towards professionals/salons and not the public). Target/etc. are licensed to sell Essie, and while the packaging is different (they don't have the molded Essie logo in the bottle like the supply shops do, and instead have a sticker with the white essie logo plus a sticker on top with the polish name), it doesn't necessarily mean these are counterfeit. After reading the first review about their grand opening prices, the prices seem to have gone up quite a bit. I just came back after my first visit two weeks ago and prices for Essie have gone up from $3.25 to $4 each. Seche Vite is also now $3 instead of $2. I believe OPI is still $8 and China Glaze is still $2.50. Nonetheless, the prices for Seche Vite and China Glaze are pretty good, but everything else is just OK considering the other nail supply stores in SGV. The Essie section was HUGE when I went the first time. It seems they've condensed it down a bit, but they still offer a wide and organized selection of colors. The China Glaze section was tiny and didn't offer much. They also have a wide selection of gel nail polish including Gelish which ran for $10 each - best price I've found anywhere! They accept credit cards with a $20 minimum. Pay with cash to avoid paying for tax. read more
