The time has come to update my review of Grab-N-Go 24/7. One reason for the update is the closing of its carwash. Secondly, it is no longer the cheap gas station it once was. I'm not sure whether Nick is still its owner who made a point to have the cheapest gas in the area. In exchange for the low price, its equipment was often dilapidated. It did upgrade its credit card processor at the pumps when they couldn't be repaired. I've been coming to this gas station for 20 years and have always had very pleasant interactions with the staff, so I would have given this 5 stars. However, there is a relatively new employee named Shaznas who I now try to avoid. Whatever I'm buying she loudly announces how much I'm paying for it sometimes 3 times over. I want to give a shout out for this place, but also don't want to give up our spot and end up like Costco, but we Love the great prices that are just as good or better than Costco without the looooong lines! This is my local gas station. I've come here countless times during good hours to get whenever I need gas or chips or beer. But tonight at 1:57 AM I came here in search of beer.The employee mosan answered the door immediately and by one fifty nine I defectively gained the beer that I needed despite hangups with the payment on google. I have had my card skimmed here twice but they have new machines. I still go inside to pay now. Today i was buying lotto tickets and the line was really long. The cashier was very frazzled and couldn't handle the stress. At one point he walked out of the store without saying anything to the customer he was helping and walked around outside for several minutes, leaving about 10 people in line wondering what he was doing. Then I handed him a ticket to cash in a week as add in more $ for additional tickets. He got very snippy and rude with me because I was holding up the line. Totally uncalled for. read more

Prices are better here than most other gas stations in town. Plenty of pumps and not too busy. Clean and well stocked store, friendly service and a good selection. Not close to any highway, but if you are in town, this is a great stop if you need gas. read more

This place is pretty bad! Card reader never works outside. If you pay cash make sure you get the full amount of gas. Owner will short you on gas. Yesterday, I saw the owner rip off some kid. Whatever u do do not use a credit card here .. I have been double charged 3 times using a credit card and have contacted my credit card company to reverse the charge I let the manager know at tue gas station and asked if I could speak to corporate since this happens continuously to me when i go here , and was told by the manager that he is corporate and would not give me any corporate number.. bad business.. good prices for Lake Forest gas but probably cause they are alway cheating ppl for money ..fyi i would highly recommend stay away from this place unless u are using cash, but still watch your cash .. i have had friends go here and say they used cash and were cheated out of a couple dollars on Gas .. no stars for this review ( i guess 1 star since i have to choose a star to post this ) read more

My son has been buying gas here while using my 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. The engine sputtered and died on the toll road after just putting gas in from this station. Cost me $120.00 to have it towed and because this is not a vehicle mechanical failure, it will cost me $800.00 to have the engine flushed of all the bad sediment caused by the gas from this station. Save your engine and your $$$ as your not saving anything buying their gas, you are destroying your engine and in the end you will pay dearly. i'm now faced with taking them to court to get my money back. read more

A lot of the pumps have cones in from of them because they don't work. They also have "pay inside" signs on the outdoor pumps because their atm/credit payment options don't work. read more

DO NOT BUY GAS HERE!! It is cheap because the pump is wrong. My tank only holds 16 gallons, but I somehow got 18 into my tank here. I have also heard complaints of breakdowns after filling up here. Be wary. read more

Old man at the register, I think the manager. Refused to take our manufacturer coupon for the new Marlboro Slates. He has posters all over promoting the new product but wouldn't take the coupon for them. The coupon itself says it can be used anywhere and gives them instructions on how to get the reimbursement. But he still refused. We were also getting gas and drinks, so we took our business elsewhere. Not a very friendly person. read more

This place has the cheapest gas outside of costco. They beat every other surrounding station by at least 5 cents! On top of that, there is no extra charge for using a credit card. The fueling area and the convenience store is very clean. The attendant has a nice attitude. The music that plays at the pumps is a nice kitschy touch as well. I come here every week! read more

I have a family of three and we all fill up at this station and have been for a couple years or more. Today I filled up, then washed my windows. The man inside came running out to me telling me to move my car to wash my windows. He wants the lane open for customers. I told him I am a customer. He didn't care, he wanted me to move and I just washed the front window. BTW, there were no other cars waiting to get gas. I'm not going back there anymore. On 8/17 went to fill gas around 5 pm stopped at the pump the pump wouldn't work !!! It happens you hit cancel and go to a different pump ... Filled 53$ and left . The staff are friendly, the place is immaculate, and the pumps are new and in good working order. They've had problems with their registers a time or two, but it gets fixed quickly. Tip for pumping gas: If you hear or feel a click within seconds of squeezing the trigger, re-seat the nozzle and try again -- it's a safety mechanism for vapor lock/return. Grab N Go 24/7 is a rip off, never go here!!!!! Prepaid with $20 in cash. and got not even 1/2 of a gallon of gas. Heard the pump click as if it were done pumping the gas and pulled the pump out. Left went across the street to Carl's Jr immediately after getting gas and was sitting in the drive thru waiting for my food and noticed my gas gage was still in the same place as it was before I got gas...on E. After getting my food, I went back across the street to the 76 gas station (Grab N Go 24/7) to talk to the same sales person I handed my $20 cash to prior to filling up, Got my reciept and it showed I had gotten a little over 5 gallons of fuel and i told the store clerk that my tank is still on E which is where the gage was at before I got gas. And that i should have had 1/2 tank or more of gas.He said that something must be wrong with my car. Went to the Cheveron on lake forest and dimension and filled my tank up completely and my gage read as full. Now on a 11.9 gallin tank having 5 gallons and gallons of fuel....my tank would have overflown a very large amount of fuel and that didn't happen which means that I got ripped off by 76. Never go here unless you like getting ripped off! read more

Honestly not sure what the problem is with them. I believe the teller is the owners wife. She brought her little dog to work and is probably the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I went in to buy a cigarette charger for my phone and first she said it's 7.99 but it was clearly 5.99. She kept arguing with me until her son insisted it's 5.99. She begrudgingly sold it to me telling me there is no refund. By the way those cig chargers are notoriously unreliable. Before I got to the door I noticed the package had already been ended and the silver piece at the end no longer had any spring action so I got back in line and told her she sold me a defunct item. She would not give me a refund stating I broke it in my car but clearly I never left the store. Eventually because her son just kept telling her to replace or refund she eventually did it. She was just so nasty I felt really bad for her son. She can't be fired since her husband owns the gas station. He probably got tired of her at home so he makes her work just to get her out of the house. Don't believe me try going there over the weekend when she is working. Her son seemed to despise her and was just flat out tired of her crap. Kid just hang in there you will soon be old enough to leave. This is quite possibly the worst business I've ever shop at. I don't know what country they're from, it really doesn't matter to me, but whatever country it is they must hate Americans. I've had the worst experience twice and I'll never go back. An older man said Americans were stupid for playing the lotto and that I was stupid. When I told him it was none of his business what I do with my money he snatched the lottery tickets out of my hand and told me to leave this store. And this last time I was cashing in scratchers and the lady wouldn't give me my money, she said only free tickets. And I asked her for my original scratchers back and she wouldn't give them to me. Gas price is good, but the station use to be 100% fuel and no ethanol or at least the decals on the pumps showed it as 100% fuel. Today, I noticed all the decals were missing from all the pumps so I guess ethanol is in the gas now. I will not drive the extra distance for this fuel anymore. read more

DISHONEST AND UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF - especially the silver headed old man. I went in and said I wanted one of each of the five lotto tickets and gave him a $20. He proceeded to give me a pre-printed powerball ticket with 10 numbers and called for the next person in line. After I protested, he proceeded to explain to me how 10 numbers at $2 equal $20- really!!! I asked how we got to the 10 poweball numbers to which he responded, "I told you I was going to give you the 10 powerball numbers and you said ok, the sale is already in the computer and I can't change it." Hilarious if this was candid camera show or a comedy. I am fuming and realized the woman behind me would probably switch places with me.
