I have been to this station dozens of times over the years, never in my car, and never purchased gasoline here. (Yelpers are scratching their head now...asking how is this possible and he is giving them 5 stars?) You are going to love this story: This Chevron for years is a major last stop for cyclists before entering what is knows as Santiago Canyon. This station is at about mile 15 of my cycling warmup before I start Santiago. It is here that cyclists take measure of their stamina to complete the many hill climbs and rigor of getting through the canyons. You fill up with water, Gatorade, energy bars, food, cool off in the A/C, and last chance for a nice restroom. They have everything you need here to support your ride. Cyclists are major regulars here and they never use the pumps! Failure to stop here before entering Santiago for the 20+ mile ride through the canyons back out on the other end to Jamboree will result in you being a good dinner for Coyotes. That is how important this Chevron is to the cycling community. And like a couple of weeks ago--I checked my legs, and watch after the climb up Alton to this Chevron and decided not to do it. Maybe next time. But I love the sport top Gatorade's hard to find in other places. And their refrigerators keep the drinks COLD! read more

Stopped here to fuel up and get a car wash. The car wash is a touchless type that squirts water then soap and dries, and my car looked the same as before it got "washed". I went back in and asked for a refund as it did nothing to wash my car. The clerk did not believe me, came out and inspected my car and told me that I need a $50 hand wash and he was not going to give me a refund! When I asked for the manager or owners phone number, he told me to Google it! Pathetic car wash, Customer Service, and rude clerk. I called chevron corporate, and they told me there was nothing they could do because this business is independently owned. read more

Used the car wash here today. The wash did a terrible job. There was still residue left on the car that the $14 wash did not remove. The wheels were still dirty, the windows still were dirty and there were water drops all over even though it was supposed to be non existent with the Platinum wash. The vacuum didn't work and there was no visible sign of it being out of order. This used to be a car wash with attendants but it no longer has anyone managing the car wash. I think the owner should refund my money. I had to go to another car wash to have this cleaned the right way. read more

This place is a DUMP! Half the pumps don't work. The other half don't issue a receipt so you have to go inside. Nothing is clean. I made the mistake of getting a car wash. Car wash mashing hit my car and the lady running the place accused me of breaking the car wash and refuse to refund me or let me through the car wash again. I guess following the machine prompts is not good enough for this car wash. Maybe I needed a crystal ball to anticipate what the car wash wanted me to do. This place is a disaster. read more

If I can give zero stars I would!!! Worst experience at this chevron. I went in to pump gas and the gas fuel would not stop running so I went ahead and told the older lady with the dog about what just happened. I was not asking for a refund, I was letting her know so she can put an out of service sign instead she accused me of purposely spilling gasoline on the floor and wasting my money just because. First she had said it's raining and it's just water which it clearly smelled like gas! Afterwards she said she was going to put her car in the same pump to see if it happened again. Then walked to my car and told me "I pumped $20 and nothing happened so it was you!". I was pumping a full tank so how is that comparing to the $20? I was watching her the whole time and she did not pump gas so she lied on top of that! At the point , I was very irritated and wanted to speak to the manager about how rude this lady was which then the lady proceeded to tell me "girls like you don't work and only want to get their hair done" when I clearly was wearing my work clothes. I asked her to see the video footage of the incident and said it was going to take days!! How? If the incident just occurred? They told me the manager was going to contact me so I can express my concerns which she never did! Not to mentioned I had told her once before she cannot smoke a cigarette next to the pumps for safety reason and she did not care! I will never pump gas at this particular gas station. I stopped at the Chevron Station on 19232 Alton Pkwy. in Foothill Ranch. I had Diana's gas tank filled up for the gas gauge was low. I bought a small bag of salted peanuts, a of lightly roasted Almonds, and a 3 oz. bag of nut and chocolate mix; peanuts, chocolate, raisins, almonds & cashews, it was lightly salted with a nice sweet flavor! :)) Ahhh the things a have to do for a review! The gas pumps were clean and well maintained. The mini mart was humungous! The store was clean and very neat. The cashier was super friendly. After gassing up her car, we left to go to eat! Gas station is perfectly located on the corner of Portola and Alton. Lots of other Auto type business in the complex including a nice carwash. Only complaint.... THEY DON'T SELL LOTTERY TICKETS! Must be the only gas station in the country that doesn't sell lottery tickets. read more

Seriously they need to be bought out & the station revamped. The car wash sucks! The pumps OMG! Don't go anytime before 8am or it literally takes 20 minutes to fill up your tank!?? For some reason they "throttle" the pumps back late at night & early in the morning or the pumps are super old. The older lady behind the counter no offense but really needs to retire. She's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SLOOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! And one time she was eating corn nuts while ringing me up & uhhggg the breath on her from eating the corn nuts in my face gross!!! The older gentlemen sometimes sits there just staring out glass door? What are you watching? No one's stealing anything, nothings going on so what are you staring at?? The new owner is incredibly rude... The most distracting part is he is not only rude to the customers he is rude to his employees and I even overheard some degrading statements being made and some very racist remarks coming out of his mouth and that is not ok he needs to realize that everyone deserves respect whether they are buying a car wash and billing done for the person washing the car! New home alone part for the employees as you're walking out of there that you can't do anything to help them besides tell them it's not okay for him to speak to you that way so I seriously hope something changes at that place because I'm not going back read more

I came to the car wash hoping for a good experience instead it ended up being a 25 minute wait. I pulled in and the guy who was supposed to check said hi and went inside for 10 minutes and I checked on him and he was just chatting away with cashier then he comes out and says hello and walked into the car wash and I wait another 12 minutes not knowing where he went. Meanwhile no one has even state vacuuming my car. I stood there and no one came over and after a 25 minute wait I left.One of the most unorganized car washes I have been to. Choose to go somewhere else you will probably get better service. So disappointing. read more

I've been here 3 times in the last 2 months. Each time the gas pump won't take my card making me go in. When I ask the cashier she say I know, I tell the owners but they don't fix. On top of that if you have 10 minutes to spare that's how long it takes to pump $40 read more

Got my oil changed here recently and they were quick about it. I'll be a repeat customer, $30 as compared to the other local shops at almost $50, this is now my go to oil shop. I can't speak for the other gas station, car wash, or other shops in the little plaza, but all their prices appear to be a steal! read more

Fill up at this station every so often since I work down the street. Prices are sometimes higher and sometimes lower than the one by where I live. Sometimes their pumps can be extremely slow and it takes forever to fill up. They only let you use pumps to left if you are not getting a car wash. Dont really ever go inside ever or get car washed so not sure how that stuff is. The Mexican restaurant inside has changed management many times since I've been coming to this station. read more

New ownership would be great here. They would find this place to be a gold mine. Place just needs a makeover. Update run down building, grounds, & pumps...new floor plan & decor. Numerous complaints here. Rude owner just stares at everybody. Slow pumps. Poor interior cleaning of my truck last time...bare shelves...empty spot for a great little grab n go sandwich shop or something. Waterfeature unused out front. I don't get it. This place is a freaking joke!!! There is the owner who is rude and stares you down the whole time you are there. Like if you are so concerned get behind the counter yourself and show people you have customer service. The shorter chick is a hot mess. She is more interested in her phone and having a rude demeanor and attitude. She literally never has a smile. They never have cigarettes stocked up regularly.
