Today is Veteran's Day. I'm not a Veteran but I just recently joined Loop Rewards after seeing an advertisement that I can redeem a FREE any sized coffee and regular snickers after joining. This morning I decided while grabbing gas I would also grabs FREE Treat! While in the restroom, I was checking my app preparing to show it to the cashier when I got out and to my surprise I saw 2 coupons to redeem a FREE Any sized coffee and a FREE Donut in honor of Veterans Day. I showed the coupon to Gigi (cashier) and asked if they were a participating location that would honor both coupons. She wasn't sure so she grabbed Fernando to be sure. He told Gigi and I that he could honor both but they would just have to be redeemed in two separate transactions. I noticed that during my visit this morning, both Gigi and Fernando were so happy to help, they were kind and their service was something to write a review about. I had to say thank you! They both advised that I try one of the glazed or maple glazed donuts rather than the chocolate. And to warm it up for about 10 seconds to make it taste better! Thank you both so much for the help! I got a medium coffee to go along with my donut and got my gas at the pump. I also noticed that NEW Loop Reward members will receive an offer to redeem a FREE Roller Grill Item that expires 3 days if they use their number at the pump. I'll be back to get that, haha. Good just for gas, The workers there are super rude and don't care about customer service I am not the type to ever write bad reviews but I had tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt so many time. This is this one worker particularly a younger girl, everytime i've gone in she's extremely dismissive and unpolite, she has even ignored me multiple times. I don't know what her problem is. No complaints! I have not gone inside the store and I have never used their car wash station! I have only stopped here for gas. This is where I always have to fill up with one of my vehicles, because my vehicle has been lowered and this station works great for it. No steep entrance and no steep exits, works perfectly for my car, no more scraping in or out of t gas station! This location looks clean by the fuel pumps, and so far I have not had any issues with any of its fuel pumps! read more

BEWARE!!! Worst Car Wash Ever!! Took our new SUV through their Car Wash and ended up with a broken rear window wiper assembly & the worse car wash ever. The wash equipment ripped the wiper assembly apart which is going to require a new motor from the dealership. We went back to the clerk to see if we can retrieve the missing pieces in the wash bay and during the search we not only couldn't find all of our pieces but found at least 3-4 rear wiper parts and blades from other vehicles as this seems to be a frequent issue there. Clerk refused to make it right as they have a "Not Liable" sign posted. Avoid this place at all cost!! read more

Purchased prepaid gas cards for gifts for my guys. Problem at the register while they ere charging my card and activating the gift cards. 100.00 was over charged and cashier brought out help. Today is 2/15/24. Warning!!! This gas station is a "rip off!" They scam by charging $5.29 for 89 octane. If you buy a car wash it's $5.09. The station wins if you buy a car wash or if you don't buy a car wash. (All previous one star reviews comment on the horrible car wash) I see the OC Sharif sends their fleet of cars to this location and don't blink an eye to spend taxpayers money. The Shell around the corner is $4.79. That's .50 cents cheaper. This station benefits both ways and screws its customers. Went there this morning to wash the car and it apparently is broken because it's not rinsing off the soap. Went in to tell the employee and she said to do it again with a different setting, so we did. That didn't work and she said do it one more time and that didn't work either car still has soap. LOVE this Shell! The store is nice and has a lot to offer, the windshield squeegee is clean and so is the water. If you go inside, don't forget to grab some Mexican food....it's pretty good! This location is conveniently on Bake Parkway, and there are no weird road rules to come or go, making it a pain to pull in to their lot. Original review 1 star: I live in Baker Ranch and frequent this shell several times a week. This is the first time I have ever had to go inside and deal the the staff. Did my card swipe I entered in the wrong zip code so it rejected my card. Waited five minutes did a res wipe entered in the correct zip code. Said I need to come in side. I have a 5 month old and a 2 year old. There is no way I'm leaving either of my kids in the car especially in 98 degree weather. I pressed the help button for someone to come and no one came. I then pressed the ads button for assistance still no one came. Of course my 2 years old decides he doesn't want to wear shoes so I have to carry him and my daughters car seat in order to figure out what the issue was. I walk in and there are 4 people doing NOTHING!!! Only one cash register open. I then explain and he asks me if 60 is enough for the pre auth... I have an lr4 and have to fill it with premium and may dashboard says I have 10 miles in my car left.... How do I know how much it is suppose to fill my gas tank up. He looked at me as though I have 3 heads and a screaming toddler and an infant. So we did the auth for 80 and asked if that was enough again I HAVE NO IDEA! So finalize it go to start heading out the guy behind me came running over to open the door for me and all the shell employees just watched. I then get to my car and get my son buckled in and my daughters car seat and then here is one of the employees asking if I wanted my gas pumped. This is one of the cleaner gas stations around. It's kind of going for a high tech thing with LCD screens advertising too. It has a car-wash and a little mini-mart which has a small Mexican food place within it. There are a lot of gas pumps so it is hard for it to be completely busy. I've come here quite a few time on my way to Foothill Ranch and it hasn't failed me yet. Also it doesn't help that they don't have a lot of competition there. The workers seem nice enough, and it almost always has cleaner and a scrubber ready to clean your windshield (I hate it when places don't). read more

Bearded middle aged Asian clerk behind the counter was chomping on some food when I entered to buy a carwash because the card reader at the carwash pay station didn't work. The clerk was rude. When I finished paying I said thank you. Clerk said "uh huh". I had to explain to him he needed to thank me for my purchase not say "uh huh". Teach your staff some basic customer service skills and have them eat on their break. I got better customer service from the carwash pay station. Prices of gas fluctuate differently than other local gas stations and this one seems to typically be a few cents more. But, what's a few cents? The car wash is not a good car wash at all. I've run my car through it twice just to make sure the first time wasn't a fluke. In the first soap go around, soap missed more than half my car. During the wash, it violently shook my car more so than other local washers. The rinse did a decent, but not great job. With 60 seconds left on the timer and only half way through the dryer, it decided it was done running. This left the back half of my car wet, and spotty, which is why I went to get it washed originally. Over all? Gas prices are decent for a Shell, but steer a clear of the car wash. read more

I found it to be horrible. It was the worst car wash I have ever paid for. I went here because it was on my way to another store and I knew I could get a $1 off if I got 8 gal of gas. The gas was more expensive than other nearby places that that really didn't save me any money. The was no cleaning at all of my trunk (like it did not even get wet), there was very little soap and the wash was $7 for the basic one. When I went inside to complain the guy offered me a free car wash but I said why would I go pay for a bad car wash and the get a second bad car wash if it would do the same thing. Here's a tip - Go to the Chevon at Bake and Irvine. The wash is $5, is very good, and you can use the vacuums for free. Or if you are particular to Shell, go to the one at Lake Forest and Trabuco. Worst service I have ever received at a gas station! Pump malfunctioned and put 87 octane in my car. Turns out the 87 button was stuck on the pump so even though I pushed 91 I didn't get it. When I asked the manager, Gordon for a bottle of octane boost to help fix the problem I was very rudely told no and that there was nothing he could do to help. So it turns out he is willing to loose a customer who spends lots of money on fuel every week over a $3 bottle of octane boost. Doesn't sound like he has the owners best interest in mind. read more
