I went in to order a 60$ order and I waited 1hr 10 min for my order. They told me it was almost ready twice and once I told them I had been there 45 min it still took 25 min more. read more

Best Thai food in the area. The proprietor, Patrick, is a great guy. Staff is also friendly and attentive.

Went for the first time a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to go back. It has so much flavor in the food and friendly service.

Today was my first visit, because I'm not normally in that part of town. The decor was pleasant, and the service was excellent. I tried the Crying Tiger Steak dish, and that was great choice! Delicious steak and vegetables with an amazing spicy dipping sauce. I'd love to know what was in that. Anyway, when I'm back in that area, I'll certainly be stopping in for another bite. read more

We visited my in laws in Riverside. I got hooked to their dishes last year. This town we visited them again and my first meal in town HAD to be at Grapow. I had Pad Thai. I don't even know what the "correct taste of pad Thai" is like, but I like their dish. The service is a bit patchy...got the water refilled every 5min/ 1inch, then no one visits us the next 15min. This is our in laws favorite place and I recommend if you are near by. read more

This has been my favorite Thai place for years! I haven't had a single bad experience. The food is always good, and I've tried most of the menus over the years. read more

Service sucks waited for over an hour to be seated just because we had a baby and they count him as a person so they wouldn't sit us in a booth. Everyone was seated as we sat waiting. Waiters made mistakes on our food and others were forgotten all together. read more

Great food. Good atmosphere! I crave the yellow Curry and the Hot and Sour soup. Family friendly and Sushi too. This is one of my favorite lunch spots. read more

Lemme just keep it 1000....do not come here after 9pm. My fiancé and I came with a friend and her partner. We are huge Thai lovers and the Thai here is 3 stars, but the service is boo boo. I mean what can I expect since it's a sports bar by 10pm, but there's something called r-e-s-p-e-c-t. Our server didn't know how to smile, say excuse me when doin the most to grab plates, and droppin ice on the floor and swiping it to the side with his feet. Service for those just drinking was quick and given with happy faces tho....Hmmm read more

This is my favorite place to come for Thai food! It definitely is a drive considering I am coming from the San Bernardino Mountains, but worth it every time! There is plenty of parking offered. The atmosphere is nice. One side of the establishment is the sushi bar and bar. This side can be loud and then the other side is more so the restaurant. The servers are friendly and attentive. The portions are generous and the price is fair. My favorites include spring rolls, egg rolls, orange chicken, gra-pow noodles with beef or chicken and Pad Thai with chicken. My husband likes the garlic pepper beef! Absolutely love this place and recommend it to others! read more

This was one of my favorite places for their mango Liam beef. I ordered take out and got about $80 worth of food. I was very disappointed on the taste. Not sure if they changed their recipe or the take out just made it rubbery since your not eating right there and then. I won't be back. It's too bad since I live so close. read more

What a hidden gem! Friends invited me out to celebrate my birthday in early August. I've lived in Riverside all my life and never heard of or been to Grapow. Now it's my FAVORITE place to dine for dinner. Food portions are on the larger size, service is fast and everything we ordered tasted amazingly delicious. However, from my observation the place seems to get really crowded at peak dinner hours so dine early if you want to avoid the rush. We've been back 3 times since my BD and I really appreciate the service we've received from Aey & Ooy. Best food servers ever!! read more

excellent thai food! this is one of the best thai restaurants i have been to & i cannot believe it is located in the i.e. among my favorites are: chaba (redondo beach) - ayara (westchester) and rambutan(silverlake) it looked empty from the outside but the inside was packed... waited @ the bar for a very long time... ordered thai ice tea & mango soju martini... it was the BESt thai ice tea i have ever had & i order one @ every thai restaurant i go to...alot are not worth finishing because they are so sweet & a total waste of calories... but this one was just perfect! house salad: crunchy, light and fresh w. a creamy sweet lime dressing... angel wings - presentation was beautiful! one was left whole & the other sliced at an angle. it had more of the yummy salad w/sweet pickled cucumber and red onion, cilantro... panang yellow curry w. chicken : traditional coconut curry made with thin slices of chicken breast , chunks of potato , and carrots... was light and flavorful... thai bbq chicken: a grilled chicken breast with a sweet cucumber relish on top, served with brown rice... also very light and yummy... fried banana fritters with coconut ice cream: round banana balls battered with coconut flakes and something nutty (like grapenuts but not) served on top of coconut ice cream with dried fruit and chunks of fresh coconut - really nice textures... overall the experience was awesome... the hostess/servers/entire staff are very kind & attentive & the decor & dishes are beautiful... the ambience is also very romantic... read more

Definitely a great place in Orangecrest. Always busy, regularly a wait, and they don't seem to take reservations even though their yelp site claims they do. The restaurant is clean, servers are friendly and accommodating, and the menu is extensive. We've liked everything we've tried, even the ultra spicy curry dish my teen ordered. The Pineapple Golden Rice is a favorite. read more

I had lunch here last month and was extremely unimpressed. The service here was excellent but the food was sub-par. The pad kee mao left a lot to be desired considering it was overpriced for Thai food. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! If you come here to eat, expect to wait a LONG time for everything! It's extremely frustrating when the wait staff seems to ignore every effort to grasp there attention (including using the service bell) to get the check. Afterwards it took close to 20 minutes for the staff to pick up our check and give us our to go boxes. Also, no one seemed to check on us if we needed drink refills or if we enjoyed our meal. I watched as the owners and wait staff frequently checked on other tables, but completely ignored mine. The food here was mediocre as the only Asian sit down restaurant in the area. Honestly, I would rather drive out to OC or LA area for better Asian food. It would have probably took the same amount of time with how slow wait staff was. read more

My family and I have been eating here for years, and we can't get enough! Some of the best tofu dishes, with some of the best flavors we can find! Everything from there curry, to their sushi to their rice and noodle dishes are on point. We like to get there take out most of all, since they are usually jam-packed, especially around dinner time. read more

The food is decent but as far as customer service goes, this place is terrible. The waiter got my order wrong and never once came back to apologize and nor did he even ask how our food was. Also they never brought our check out and after waiting for 20 minutes we had to go up and ask for it. Owner never even apologized for lousy service. I will not be going here again especially with the overpriced food. read more

The food is very good here. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is for their service. Think twice about doing a big catering order with them. I ordered 2 entrees and 2 main courses to feed 50 people for a surprise birthday party for my wife. I asked that the food be done no later than 4pm, time sensitive because it was a surprise. I made this clear to them more than once. They always said, no problem. The day of the party I was told it would not be done until 4:15. Fine. I padded the time a little bit. However, our friend who was picking up the food had to wait an additional 30 min for the food, so 45 minutes late. Due to this delay, our friend missed the surprise when my wife got home and did not make it back until the party was already well underway. We really needed the food at our home by 4:30 for appetizers for the guest. I called Gra Pow the following day to speak to the owner about what happened. They were not in so I left a message. No one called me back. Did not get the impression they cared. So, beware of ordering any catering from them. Oh yes, the portions are HUGE. They say each full order "feeds 8-12", however each order easily could feed 25 people. read more

Went here for dinner tonight, and it was a horrible experience. Their food is average, and extremely OVERPRICED. Their portions are small, and service wasn't that great. They literally kick you out after they see that you are done with your average meal. They run your check over right away, and come back every few minutes to see if you are ready to pay. I would not go back and I would not recommend this place at all. read more

Best place ever!!!! The food is amazing the atmosphere is amazing the drinks are amazing. But at times staff is rude and never comes back to the table. Thank God the food makes up for it! They do get busy because they are a very popular business so arrive early. read more

This Place is freaking GOOD! I am a bit of a picky thai food person. And to be honest, If it weren't for me having a place that I feel is untouchable, I would be giving this place a 5 out of 5 star review. The atmosphere is wonderful and clean. The food is great and the service is exactly the way I like it- Attentive but not overwhelming. The full bar is a plus! This place seems to be a great place for a date night or even a nice lunch. I enjoy the outdoor seating and the laid back, yet classy vibe that this place offers. My favorite dishes are the Chicken Pad si ewe and the Yellow chicken Curry. Especiallyfor the area, this place is far above the standard. This is the only local spot I am willing to eat Thai food at! Thanks for being so delicious! read more

After receiving horrible service, I was expecting the food to be bad as well. The food was really good but the service sucked really bad. Our waitress took our order and she didn't come back to check on us at all. Several different people brought out our food, not once did she come back to see if everything was okay or if we needed anything. I ordered a drink that I never got, we ordered pineapple fried rice and got regular fried rice. We ordered a smoked salmon roll and got a regular salmon roll. The roll was sent back and it seemed like they just threw the missing ingredients on top of the roll. When we got our check, the happy hour prices were not reflected and they had almost Everything wrong. We asked to speak to the manager to file a complaint and they sent over some young kid that didn't seem to know much of anything and just offered several apologies. No discount, no nothing just "I'm sorry" I don't understand how anyone can run a business providing such horrible service! It's a shame because the food that we did receive correctly was very good but due to the service we won't be going back. read more

I'll preface this by saying I love this restaurant. I've been coming here for years. The food is always perfect. But tonight my experience tainted all the good of this place for me. I arrived at the restaurant at 4:30. It was busy, but not as busy as I've seen it before. We were seated quickly and our drink order was taken immediately. And that's when everything went downhill. Our waitress never came back to take our order. I'm talking we waited over a half hour for her to come back, and that's only because we finally got her attention and had to wave her down. And when she finally came back and I said we've been ready to order for a half hour, she said, quite rudely, "It's a good thing I came back then, huh?". Well, yeah. You fricken work here, you potato head! We waited another 30 minutes just to get our side salads that had no dressing on them. We asked for dressing and no one came back with it. Half of our food arrived 45 minutes after we ordered and still no dressing for our salads. We had to ask 4 different people for dressing until someone finally brought it to the table. We also needed to order food to go, which was a joke. We asked 3 different waiters to take the order, but no one seemed to know who was assigned to our table. Half our party finished their food when the other half of our party finally received their food. We finally had someone take our to go order, which I regret now. We waited and waited and waited. We had to go up front to see what was taking so damn long. Only for them to tell us that they sent the food to our table 20 minutes prior (THEY DID NOT). They finally filled the to go order 45 minutes after we ordered it. I hate writing bad reviews for places I love, and I understand places get busy, especially on the weekends, but I've been here on a Saturday night on peak hours with less staff and I never experienced this kind of awful service. We dropped 100 bucks and I expect at least mediocre service for that price. Such a huge disappointment. I drive out of my way to visit Gra Pow, but I'll be sticking to my local Thai joint from now on. Food isn't as good, but the service is way better. I would give this 1 star if it wasn't for the food being good. At least the kitchen staff has their shit somewhat together. read more

Service sucked. Food is ok. One of the younger asian waitress was rude and had a little attitude. She is always been that way from the first time i visited the restaurant. Today she looked annoyed when i politely asked to make thai tea a bit stronger. Thai tea and coffee are too blend and put too much ice. Each dish is between $11-14 which are over priced. If one pays that much for a dish then i expect the service to be coherently excellent but in this case they FAILED to do so!! There were a couple of times eggplants in dishes were undercooked and was hard. Dont go here. I know i wont. read more

Food is good but: Rude, they are rude rude rude. I called to place a to-go order was told they have a technical issue (at NOON on a Monday??) she said we are not taking orders right now and just HUNG UP on me. No orders and just hung up on me. Seriously? I know where not to call next time. crappy service that's not worth the food. read more

Loved coming to this place. Brought my girlfriend here tonight for the first time, except this time the host seemed annoyed when we got there. This place has great Asian fusion food! Our kids enjoy it and eat what they order. They especially loved the fried rice. Our server Amber was fantastic. My wife and I will definitely come back with our kids. read more

The ambience is perfect for a romantic dinner, but food is very westernized and bland. The food items are over-priced, service is slow AND you have to spend over $15 to use your credit/debit card...so no sense in ordering takeout or dining alone. It is difficult to find good Thai cuisine in Riverside County so when I want good Thai food, I would much rather go for a drive to Pomona or Hollywood. read more

Tonight Grapow lost us as customers. Sad really. We have gone there at least once a month for years. We were there tonight (it was busy) we were told a 30 minute wait. The lady that was seating us had friends come in and she hugged them and said quietly don't worry I'll get you a seat to them. They were also a party of 3. We said uhhh hey there. We were waiting. She ignored us. Went to the back. Then another few came in and she hugged them also and we told the nice young man that was also there we were leaving. He said we could speak to the manager. We waited a few more minutes and decided to leave. We won't be back. We saw the manager talking to the lady that was seating her friends and she was clearly denying it. I love to eat at non chain restaurants. We always support our local businesses. If this was the first time we had bad bad service there I'd have just left and said nothing. Unfortunately its been a gradual increase in bad service there. read more

Best Thai food in riverside. Long waits on the weekends and they don't take reservations. But, you can have a glass of wine while you wait.

Great food and comes out fast. They also have a awesome rotation on beers along with spectacular mix drinks. But the staff is a little iffy. First you have one of the waiters/ bartender I think his name is Isaac. He's welcoming but pays a little to much attention to male customers to where it's a little uncomfortable if you're not as flamboyant as him. Then there's one named Kevan who's extremely sweet and nice. So sweet that he might give you diabetes. But there's Alma who will answer any question you have about bartending, the restaurant or life in general, she just loves to talk to people. So she's will gladly talk for hours with you. So in conclusion grapow is an amazing restaurant where you will be treated as a friend, just it's one of those friendship that you make fun of each other constantly. read more

The food is really good here but the wait is insane. I've tried a couple of their dishes and I have not been disappointed by that. I have been there on an off peak hours but the wait is always long. The service here is very poor. I have experienced this one time before but decided to go back and give it a second try. The 2nd time was pretty much the same as the first. We were sat down quite fast by one server. Time went by as no one was checking on us we actually had to ask to have our order taken by another server. My sister ordered a salad appetizer which took 25 minutes to come out. We actually had to ask for them to check on the salad. I mean its lettuce and some veggies how long could it take? After waiting for just about 40 minutes we had to again ask not only for more water but an update on our food. The server comes back to let us know there is 1 ticket in front of us and it would be a bit longer. (same thing happened the first time out) The food was pretty good but NOT ONCE did anyone come by to see if we needed anything. Once we were done eating we actually had to ask for the check because again, no one was checking on us. I will not be returning here. 2 times and received the same service is not worth it. I would give it more than 2 stars based on the food quality but the service is just that bad. read more
