I truly would have given this place a 2.5. I have only had a take out order from here. But the staff were rude, especially the girl behind the bar who took my order. They were about half full and it was the middle of the week at about 6pm. The food was ok....I was not impressed. It was more expensive than Best Thai in Riverside and did not even come close to taste. I might come back again to give them another try and just chalk up my experience as just an off night for them. read more

I really started off loving this place. I work near by and would order the lunch specials at least once or twice a week. The last few times I have gone the food hasn't been the great and the portions seem to change often, Reminder I always take the food to go. I wish it was more consistent because when its good, its great! read more

So let me start off by saying we love Thai food , I always order Tom yum soup and my husband always tries the curry. This spot was disappointing as nice as it is inside ... the food didn't come through and the prices for the drinks are too high 4.75 .... might as well make it $5 . So we ordered the Tom yum soup seafood I actually didn't mind the taste it was pretty good but since it was seafood I was honestly expecting shrimp lol I do get there's options of chicken , shrimp , seafood . Honestly assumed shrimp would be added to it ... totally wrong . It also has a nice spice kick to it which I loved . Then we order the crab meat fried rice ..... it was salty I felt like the more I kept going in for a bite hoping it would get better it just got more salty lol . ‍ soo my husband got the chicken curry ... he gives it a 4/10 no spice nothing and I noticed they never asked us for a spice level like other places . Ehh over all it was okay ... would I come back ? Nope . Over priced food and drinks that's not worth it ‍‍‍‍‍‍ read more

I've experienced better at Grapow than this last visit on Saturday, October 10, 2015. It was a basic phone order for the eggplant with chicken and brown rice, the pork with brown rice and an appetizer of Tempura Vegetables. We called at 6:45 and were told it would be 30 to 35 minutes. When I got there about 7:10 and was told it will be another 30 minutes or so. They just added a new bar and there wasn't even any room at either bar to grab a beer while I waited so I stood because the waiting area was full. After a while I was able to sit there and the manager came by to check on me and I told him about the excessive delay and he said to just be wait. This is when you start comping customers, a free beer, take some money off or something. Nothing. I continued to wait and it was nearly 8 pm by the time my food was handed to me. I live about 5 minutes away but by the time I got home the Tempura was cold and limp because it was prepared long before the entrees. The pork was grizzly and full of fat and tasted nasty. There wasn't even enough decent meat to make a meal. I'm completely dissatisfied with Grapow which used to be a fine place to go get take out or dine in. If it is going to be an hour tell me. Don't make me wait there for the food. People there were told it would be 45 to 60 minutes to get seated. Are they waiting an hour on top of that for their food or are phone orders delayed on preparation until you actually show up? Either way, not good. I used to like Grapow but will re-think where to go for take out Thai in the future. Too bad the selection of dining in our area is so lacking because these guys really need some competition and pressure to do better. read more

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent prices! Just an overall great place to take family, friends, coworkers, pretty much anyone too. Especially if it's there first time eating Thai food read more

I am very pleased with this restaurant. There food is so good and they are able to make any dish vegan. I asked for a vegan pad Thai dish and they served it with tofu and vegggies it was so delish I would definitely go back ! read more

Excellent service!!! Thai tacos are amazing! Love the ginger beef! Beef quality is exceptional!! Panang chicken is extremely good! Yellow curry chicken is the best!!!my favorite Thai spot!!! You must try it! read more

My family and I come here at least once a week and we love it! The best food, best service and super sweet waiters/waitresses. My favorite Thai place ever. read more

I finally decided to try this place since it is so close to my home. After being seated in a fairly nice looking place we ordered our food. The food came, 2 lunch specials, and they looked reasonable. Upon further inspection, I found the food to be very greasy and in my case the noodles were chopped up in small formless pieces. I was not satisfied at all for the money. My wife's meal came with a salad and the lettuce had some rotten pieces in it and she was not satisfied with the hard rice (she is Indonesian). For my money I will go to Bann Thai on Brockton from now on even though its further away. The prices are similar and the food is abolutely excellent there. Grapow Thai is just not worth it. read more

Awesome restaurant!! Food and service was great! Would definitely recommend and will be coming back whenever we're in town. It's also reasonable priced for the amount of food you get. So glad we found it! read more

I haven't been in a while, but I had meant to write a review the very first time I tried this place. It was clean, the service was great (I went during lunchtime), and the ambiance was pleasant--but what really stuck out was the delicious food. Coming from Orange County where there are a host of similar places you can go, I didn't think I'd be so impressed but I was! I'll definitely be going back as soon as I can. read more

We had a great experience with our server...he was great, kept on checking on us and delivered our order fast...for his service I'll give a 5 star. But the food, not the best...it's okay...so I give the food 3 star. I think the food are over cooked, like the chicken appetizer, it was really dry, and the other I forgot what it's called were salty. I'll come back again and hope to have a better selection next time around. read more

Love this place. The service is great and the food is so food is fantastic. Love the crispy fish with spinach..

Food is amazing! My problem is with the service as It has progressively gone down hill since they expanded! They need to take a step back and re-evaluate the service needs! read more

Food isn't to me...traditional Thai. Its over oiled. Pad Thai just doesn't taste like Pad Thai. I think its a bad representation. The staff is friendly but the food isn't with Thai traditions. The chicken was dry. Ordered the Chicken appetizer with peanut sauce and was dry. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I love eating here. It's right down the street, so we often stop in when we don't feel like cooking. The environment is great. Some foods I love: Garlic and Bean Sprout, Eggplant and Tofu, BBQ Pork Noodle Soup, Dragon Fried Rice, Tom Kha Soup and Lettuce Wraps. Some foods I didn't love: the steak entree and the salmon entree. I don't think this is authentic Thai, like many have said- more of an Asian fusion as there are many Chinese and Vietnamese inspired dishes. However, still excellent food. I've always left happy. read more

I really love the food however the long wait was a little too much but the owner came to save the day and got us a table right away might be a little spoiled rotten but it works and I love the owner for it!!! read more

Pricey but the food isnt bad at all. First thai place where they put effort into the presentation of the plate.

WOW. I've been drinking for a long time, but I have never experienced such delicious drinks in my life. The bartender Bob created some of the most flavorful drinks I have ever had the privilege of tasting. The bourbon lemonade is magnificent, Truly one of a kind. The old fashion is inspirational and unique in flavor. Simply amazing. read more

Wow great food. Came here and selected a meal from the lunch menu. I got Mongolian Beef which comes with salad, rice, wonton and pot sticker. The beef was seasoned just right and they put in big pieces of mushrooms. Then for dessert I got mango sticky rice. It was fresh and very good. Also, you can order sushi and other types of items. The place was clean and staff were friendly. One thing wrong was that my friend did get reservations during lunch time but the waitress did not know what we were talking about. We were given seats right away though. However while we were paying we did see her name on a list stating reservations. Please staff it is always good to check for reservations while on shift. read more

The pad Thai is extremely disappointing. They don't use the right noodles! The pad see eww is good. Something similar to Mongolian beef also sucks. broccoli and beef is no good. Ahi tuna appetizer is delicious. Their food is a smorgasbord of crappy and good. Their Thai iced tea is delicious but somebody came up with the terrible idea to garnish it with a rosette of aerosol whip cream on top so I ask for it without. I keep coming here because the husband likes it and it's pretty much the only decent Americanized, wannabe Thai in the area. read more

Grapow is small and somewhat tucked away, so you have to look for it, but DEFINITELY WORTH IT. The dragon wings are awesome, but I think most of the stuff on their menu is. The food here comes out looking as amazing as it tastes. read more

Best Thai I've had great vibe and services. Lunch special is outstanding and happy hour is just as good.

Grapow has never disappointed with flavor, customer service, or price. My coworkers and I stop in for lunch every once in a while. Food is absolutely delicious. !!! You definitely need to check this place out. 5 stars without a doubt read more

I really really want to give Grapow 5 stars!! I really do but service there kills me ... except for the sweet server with little buns in her hair and some purple she's amazing!! But honestly the servers are far from warm everyone whose ever helped is seems bothered like why are you here .. it's almost as if they like when they don't have anyone in their section.. the many time we've been there someone is compiling about service or their order being incorrect! I really love this place it's a local place in the area with good food but service is really lacking :/ read more

Lunch menu, lunch menu, lunch menu!! Great lunch prices where you not only get the full sized meal, but a delicious salad with amazing dressing, a potsticker & fried wonton. Grapow chicken, Orange Chicken & Cashew Chicken are my personal favorites. They also have a great happy hour! Try the dumplings! Love this place!! read more

Favorite Thai food in town! I am yet to try something I don't absolutely love, including drinks! A little pricey but well worth it. If it's your first time trying it out, I suggest going at an earlier time. They are extremely busy! I've waited an excessive amount of time for simple meals, leading me to complain about their service. But the food is great. read more

Grapow has become a staple of the Mission Grove area. The owners and staff are awesome, and the dishes and drinks are made to match. The place is generally fairly busy, so give yourself a bit of spare time and trust me when I say it'll be worth it. I definitely recommend the wings and the calamari. As for drinks, they have a blue mixed sake drink that is to die for. I'm thinking about going over for some food as I write this review! read more

For Thai food it's pretty overpriced but I think this is a better place to come for lunch and for happy hour (at least from the other reviews). I had the grapow noodle and it says it's supposed to be drunken noodle, but the flavors definitely seemed all over the place. They also top it off with crispy wonton strips which is totally unnecessary IMO. read more

this is a fancy place for thai food in riverside. the food can be pricy, but only worth it for some of the dishes, such as the drunken noodles. Dont get the pot stickers, they just use frozen dumplings and just pan fry it, i can make that myself. happy hour includes different appitizers for $5. i recommend the hot wings and the calamari. service is good. dont come here if you're in a rush to eat. this place is a sit down, relax, good for a date, kinda restaurant. great for dates, or if you want a nice quiet place to eat. read more

Slow service, food was pretty good but expensive for what you get. Went there twice just not worth the money to go again.

Best Thai food place I ever ate love this place nice and clean. I would recommend to anyone to try it at least once

My favorite restaurant in riverside! Great good, great service, great atmosphere & great owner! No complaints!

Mmmm! Everything is good! Come for lunch specials and save big time. You get the same sized dinner portion. The house salad and salad dressing are my favorite to look forward to. If you've never tried thai iced tea, try it here! Fast in restaurant dining and fast take out. I come here at least once a month. We know the owners and he insures everyone is satisfied. Love the table buzzers that have your server respond to your needs quickly. Great location. Get ambiancei. Just what this area needed. Wondering why they don't have 5 stars across the board. read more

The food and drinks are good, but DO NOT come here for lunch hour during work lunch break. My co-workers and I have repeatedly sat for over an hour waiting for food. When we complained to the manager, he told us this was not the place to come for lunch if you have an hour only. We were seated at 11:00 before the restaurant filled up. People that came in much later than us got their food first. We had to take our food to go, and we were late twenty minutes to our work meeting. The management doesn't seem to be making any great effort to change the ridiculously slow lunch service. I'll only come back to this place for dinner if I want to be at the restaurant for a long time. read more

This is my favorite restaurant EVER! Food,service,ambiance... Everything is an A+!!!! And I live in Arcadia... So if I am saying this is my favorite restaurant.... It must be good because there are a thousand Thai restaurants around me and nothing compares!!! I come here at least once a week if not more. My boyfriend lives here so he introduced me to it a little over a year ago and it is now not only my favorite but we are regulars and will continue to be!!! Thank you Patrick and crew for the best indulgence a girl could ask for!!! PS... Drunken Noodles with chicken, lettuce wraps, spicy garlic edamame, and Red curry.... All the best things on the menu!!!! Plus... Much, much more!!!! read more

The food here is awesome ... Super pumped about the new expansion with a full bar and sushi bar as well. We needed a new spot to hang out up here in the Orangecrest and mission grove area. Lots of good beer on tap, happy hour specials, sushi is good. My favorites include the pad Thai, winter shrimp, red curry and 8th warrior. read more

Hubby and I always come here for sushi and beer. The place has a great vibe. The sushi is bomb. The beer choices are fantastic hubby loves the IPA's, Food is good too. A few servers are the best we always try to get them, others need a bit more customer service training but would not stop me from coming back. So close to home and sooooo good. The only thing I would change is the music when the jukebox is not being used. They need to read the crowd, and when your there enjoying the ambiance country music is not the way to go. When they play country I'm like check please. read more

I have been to this place a couple of times because the food is great and price is reasonable but tonight I had to wait for a long time for them to serve my drink. I was halfway done with my food when I had to remind the wait staff about it. I guess they have forgotten to pick up my drink at the bar. read more

If you love cream cheese wontons, come check it out. They've got the cream cheese flavor just right! They taste like the ones my sister used to make when she owned a Chinese restaurant back east and I could never find a place that makes them that way. No weird chives and funky taste like other places. Theres a slight sweetness which goes great w/ the plum sauce. I love that there's a full bar and happy hour too. So far, I've tried pad thai, pad see u, beef salad, green curry and won tons. I wouldn't recommend the pad thai. They drown the noodles w/ a red sauce. Everything else was delicious. read more
