The food is always great, with great service. I'm usually there for the lunch specials. I'd bet the full menu options are great as well. Can't go wrong. Orange Chicken is has great flavor. All of the curry is great, noodles are great. Excellent atmosphere, great friendly staff. read more

Good food at a nice little place. House salad dressing is tasty along with the jalapeno cheese balls. Cream cheese wontons are always a must. The coconut soup is a nice change in flavor from a normal soup. read more

Gra Pow is either the best Thai food, or more like fast food Thai depending on who's cooking. The owner, Patrick, is doing host jobs and I don't know if he trains his cooks or just lets them make their own recipes up, but it's either a 4 star experience or really bad. So instead of going once a week, we go once every 3 months or so. Going to go with friends, their suggestion, tomorrow night. Wondering how it's going to be. We went on Dec. 28th evening last - not good. Just 2 weeks before went with teacher retirees, and the food was out of this world delicious. Ordered the Gra Pow noodles that time and it was fab, and the same dish on Dec 28th, was very bad. Patrick needs to teach his cooks how to cook before he lets them cook for the public. Consistency please. read more

This place is down the street from my house and one of the few places in the area with genuinely good food. They have a great lunch menu from 12 -3 daily where you can score a very filling meal for around $10. Meals include a salad and small appetizer. I've tried everything on the lunch menu and have never been disappointed. The ingredients are always fresh and the staff is pleasant. I think my favorite is the Green Bean Chicken. Another great aspect is the atmosphere. It is contemporary. Great for a date or meeting with friends. The outside patio is nice, they even have heaters. Looking for a good meal that won't break the bank- check this place out for lunch. Promise you won't be disappointed:) FYI: the zipcode is wrong (92508) read more

Best Thai food in Riverside! Authentic and delicious. Good service too!

Patrick has one of the finest restaurants in Riverside. The menu offers a superb selection of dishes to appeal to just about anyone. My personnel favorites are the sugar-peas with beef and the garlic beef. Prices are lower mid range and the service is excellent. read more

The have a nice happy hour menu. For my wife and I, this is our secret getaway from the kids after work. Very quiet, great atmosphere.

I love this place. I haven't had anything I didn't like. Service is quick and friendly. Relaxing

Had the duck with seafood fried rice and calamari as an appetizer. It was so good. This is the second time I have eaten here. Have not been disappointed by this place at all. Plus I have stopped in and had some brews for their happy hour. So happy I just live across the street from here :) read more

huge portions of yummy thai food. Enjoy!

I'm sitting here right now recalling why I never came back after my first visit...this place sucks!!! I ordered chicken pad kee mow and it's drenched in this nasty sweet sauce that's also slightly burnt. I ordered an iced tea with my lunch, twenty minutes ago and have yet to receive it but I bet it shows up on the bill, which no one knows I'm waiting on because no one has come over to the table since sitting this nasty food in front of me. NO MORE...ever again!! read more

Food is good but the service is awful. Waited 10 min no one came by to get our drink order. For some reason it was super hot in the restaurant. So hot my husband was sweating. Another 5 minutes later still no drinks. So we left and walked to chili's where it was nice and cool. We won't be going back read more

We enjoy just about every dish on the menu. It's small and casual and the staff is always friendly. We come here often and enjoy introducing new people to this little gem! read more

The staff was very friendly and communicated very well with us and with each other. We got there right was lunch was ending and happy hour was beginning. Our server was nice enough to give us the lunch pricing and happy hour pricing for our appetizer. We started with the calamari and it was absolutely delicious. Cooked perfectly and tasted great. I had the red curry and even though I got the lunch special I still had half of it leftover to take home. I normally prefer green curry but this dish may have swayed me over to red. It had just the right amount of spice without being overpowering. My husband ordered the king pik pow from the seafood section. The shrimp were huge and cooked perfectly. There was a good amount of veggies and it was seasoned well. We definitely can't wait to go back, hopefully when it's warmer so we can sit on the adorable patio. read more

This joint is the best for Thai. Some unfortunate souls will swear on other places, but believe me. This is where you want to grab lunch or dinner in Riverside! read more

Bbq pork appetizer is great. Crispy tilapia dinner is delicious. My wife ordered the crying tiger steak dinner and loved it . The dumplings were average. Overall a great dinner read more

Great meal! One of the few times after a meal that you feel total satisfied. The food was expertly prepared. Tried Kung po pork instead of chicken this time and it was mouth watering. Would have given five stars but service was a bit slow. Also had dumplings as an appetizer the taste was off the charts good. One of my favorite restaurants in Riverside. I would rate Grawpow a must try you'll be glad you did. read more

1st time here and it was pretty great. Riverside doesn't have a lot of good Thai food places that I would consider worthy of going more than once. This place I most definitely will be going to again. They start you off with a salad that has a delicious dressing and then the main course is an ok portion size but is very tasty! I would recommend the seafood noodles if you like seafood :) the only part I didn't like was the temperature inside was pretty cold. read more

My husband and I have been coming here for 5 years now. Hands down this is the best Thai restaurant in the county. The staff are very polite and professional and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend trying the chicken slammers appetizer and the dragon fried rice for your main dish. read more

The worst!!!! -Prices are 20% higher -Food is always cold - and old -Service sucks -There is not consistency with there food and flavor -Sticky Mango - Absolutely the worst. - Rice was old with no flavor and mango was not sweet at all. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Great atmosphere ! Good is always good and prices are reasonable. I love their lunch menu because you get smaller portions and you also get salad, egg roll and another yummy crunchy item ( idk what it is but it's good !!) read more

I can't imagine what anyone would give this restaurant less than 4 statrs. Yes, the service can be slow on occasion. However, the service has been slow at almost every restaurant I have ever been to given the time and day of the week. I have been to Gra Pow for birthdays, holidays, just because and everything in between. From parties of nine or more, to just me and the wife, we have never been dissatisfied. Even when service was slow, on an exceptionally busy day, the owner came and personality apologized and offered us complementary items. The people on Yelp who are complaining about this restaurant are just unhappy people. The food has been nothing short of exceptional. If you are lucky enough to get Francis as your server, you won't be able to stop talking about how wonderful your experience was. She is amazing!!! read more

Food is pretty good. Have eaten here 3 times now and we find the service to be rather slow. Atmosphere is nice and restaurant is clean, but don't go if you're in any kind rush. read more

The addition is fantastic. Patrick will go out of the way to make sure you are well fed and happy. Best Happy Hour on the planet. Love this place. read more

We used to be frequent patrons until they opened up the bar! Way too much noise ! Can't have a conversation

The service is HORRIBLE here. The food is way too overpriced to have bad service. NEVER EVER EVER EVER coming here again. Save your money for a place that has more reasonably priced meals, bigger portions, and good customer service. read more

If I could sum up this place in one word I would say ,hectic!poor communication overall, from the servers to the kitchen . I order an app and my entree got there way before and my date's food after and we asked about our appetizer they said it coming soon . I asked it to be canceled since we're already on entrees. She just said okay and took off . We didn't really know who our server was really.our app still made it to the table 10 or so minutes later , the food runner was super nice and insisted we enjoyed it and that he would have them comp it . We reluctantly kept it and felt bad rejecting his offer . The server finally came to check on us and mentioned how it was free now . To be honest her tone wasn't great and we felt a bit embarrassed , maybe it's a cultural thing but i didn't like her deminor . This place has potential and I just think the need a better system, the food wasn't bad , my pad Thai was a bit too sweet for me tho . The spring rolls were the highlight of the night to be honest but I'm not really craving anything from there since my visit. The host was really nice too . read more

Ooy and Aey were amazing and did a good job taking care of our party of 6, the food was fantastic specially the garlic noodles and Balls. I would recommend it and keep coming back specially for happy hour from 3-6 read more

The food here is pretty good, the best in the area for Thai food in my opinion, BUT the service isn't great and it's very pricey here.

Great food and beautiful atmosphere a little small but still very nice. I love the yellow curry

This restaurant is an example of what happens when there is a lack of experience and no real oversight. I have no idea what the food is like since I ended up walking out. The staff seem to have absolutely no idea what they are doing, the servers are not around and can't even greet people at their tables in a timely manner (within 10 min), and the management is clearly unable to help even after these situations were brought to their attention. I assume their food is good, which is why it is so busy......being understaffed, oblivious to what is happening, and not focused is the primary reason I will never return to this business. read more

The best Thai food ever. Try their pepper beef steak and calamari with cilantro sauce. Great service too.

This is my third visit here in the last 6 months. Our first visit was great. 2nd visit good and then tonight. Service not great from having to wait to be seated and waiting to order. Then the banging started. Everyone in the restaurant started to look around and wonder what was happening up front. The waiters weren't bothered by it, but everyone eating sure was. What was the banging? They were putting together their Christmas tree at 6:00 in the evening. Not sure but I would think that would be an after hours event not at the height of dinner service. read more

Fantastic meal! Fresh, made to order. Each dish is unique & different. Amber gave us excellent service. There were 7 at our table with 3 under the age of 8. She did great with the kids. We will definitely be back. Also, there were lunch specials until 3:00pm even on Sunday. LOVE it read more

Consistently great food, great service and fast food preparation. Generous servings. There is sometimes a wait because the restaurant has become popular. read more

I've lived in this neighborhood for 20 years. I've been impressed with the success of this restaurant. The food has always been good. Today was the first disappointment in service. It's a busy Friday night and we put our name on the list for party of 4. We've been waiting patiently only to have another party of 4 seated before who came way after us. Their name was clearly well below ours and I saw where they scratched it out. I don't know if they were friends or family of the host. Not good service. We're still waiting nonetheless even though the hostess is now glaring at us for noticing what she did read more

Sorry but tonight was horrible service. Don't come here on a busy night. Kind of ruined the night. I won't be back here for a long time

This place has great atmosphere and delicious food. The service was really exceptional. We didn't have a reservation and they gave us a table right away for a party of 7. I had the golden pineapple rice w/ rice and was really good. The servers were really attentive and friendly. They were really good at checking up on us at a good pace by giving my friends and I our own time. Will definitely recommend this place. read more

Customers get upset when it's busy and service is slow but who cares?! the food is incredible and well worth an extra couple minutes!!!

The food is consistently good. The service is consistently hit-and-miss. They rotate their craft beers which is good, but they don't print a drink list and employees often have no idea so they have to check. When they are really busy drinks take forever. read more
