This place was so good! We live in California and decided to try some Midwest BBQ! They came out pretty quick with the food and servers came around asking everyone if everything is okay and if we need anything else. Very attentive! All of the meats were very tender and the sausage had a great snap to it! The inside is like your typical bbq place and I loved that they had sparkling water. I wasn't too keen on the apples being in coleslaw but it was something different. Everything else was spectacular! read more

Whoever is saying this is the best BBQ in CO must have a seriously low bar. The Brisket was grey without a hint of smoke ring and tasted like pot roast. The beans and jalapeño sausage were good. We order takeout from G Que regularly and enjoy the ribs and pulled pork sandwiches the most. The baked beans are a favorite side. I'm not a big fan of the Mac & cheese but that may be just me as I am not a Mac & cheese aficionado. My only wish is that they carried corn bread or at least some kind of roll. The French fries are fine, not epic but we order them as a side. The sauces for the meat is good too. read more

Okay seriously, this place is the bomb dot com! SO yummy. All the things we ordered were delicious and safe to say there were no leftovers. We went on Friday night and even though it was busy, the service was fast and seating was not an issue. It is a little pricey but totally worth it in my opinion, considering the quality of the food. They have specials as well for food items not usually on their menu. We tried the cherry bomb wings and they were exceptional. They also don't charge for ranch or sauce which is nice. Complimentary BBQ sauce in every table. I labeled everything on the pictures below. Will definitely be returning and 100% recommend checking this place out. Maybe I'm biased because I'm from the south but I found the food to be lackluster. Most of the mac and cheese was sauceless and I knowingly bought the smallest serving of it but the portion was extremelyyyy tiny. Maybe 4 bites at most. Don't sleep on the pickled onions. They add SO much to the sandwich. Saw a coupon for a free sandwich if you join their mailing list, and it reminded me how long it's been since I had some good bbq. Everything about the sandwich was fab- soft sweet brioche bun, loads of flavorful meat, and fresh slaw with Granny apples for the perfect crunch. The onion rings are always a winner, although we didn't love the Mac and cheese. It has a runny cheese sauce with flecks of paprika that I just wasn't into. They have great happy hour deals on food and beer- we took full advantage of $3 pints of local craft beer, but they also have $1 Coors light from 2-5pm on weekdays. Standard covid precautions taken, and everyone wale encountered was sweet and friendly. Highly, highly recommend if you are looking for good bbq. read more

Came here based on the review in Eater, not sure what to expect as my culinary experiences here in Denver thus far have been very ho-hum.. walking in we realized this is more of a order at the counter and sit down rather than full service. We decided to give it a shot and ordered the ribs and brisket, onion rings to see how it goes. The rubs were fall off the bone and smoked properly, good flavor. Brisket on the other hand was dry and did not hold it's shape when being sliced it required a lot of sauce. The rings were decent. All in all not bad but not what I would consider championship level BBQ. read more

I travel 26 weeks per year and every bbq in almost every city I travel to. I was excited reading that their brisket is USDA prime. I wasn't so excited after the first bite. If this is prime then you don't know how to prepare it correctly and I'm sorry for all the people of Denver who believe that your brisket is good. It's dry and tough. GQue is a pretty common stop within our friend group. We all live around the Westminster area, so it is a frequent stop. My partner enjoys stopping here for the weekly specials, which is what we did tonight. We got the green Chile pork sandwiches. The green Chile had a good kick which was mellowed by the topper sauce and cotija cheese. Overall, it was a pretty good sandwich. We did an app pickup, and it was ready between the time we placed our order and made it to the restaurant, which is less than 2 miles from where we live. Their fast service definitely always impresses us too. I also recommend trying their pork burnt ends when they have that weekly special too. I also enjoy the wings. They're pretty good! I went a few weeks back for meatball sandwiches and the nuggets game too. They had specials for most of the nuggets tournament games too which was awesome as well! read more

For once I can say that the burger that was served too me looked exactly as advertised online. It didn't disappoint and we enjoyed our first visit so much we returned a few days later. Spacious restaurant with a fair amount of outdoor seating, we really enjoy the setup. We have yet to dine al fresco since it's been fairly hot but we'd like to try it when the weather cools off. Everything we've had has been good, two things that stood out where the lobster roll and the prime ny strip (Thursdays) which were outstanding. Good variety of craft beers, cocktails, and wine with something for all palates. I love that an ice cream shop is attached to the restaurant, on our first visit we took a pint of their Heath Ice Cream to go since we were stuffed. I do need to return to try some of their sausage dogs! Great spot, lots of parking, fantastic staff, and large menu with lots of specials make this a regular to be on our rotation!
