I'm usually not fond of ordering furniture of any kind from retail stores, as they usually don't have stock. HOWEVER, in the case of Kaufman Allied I was pleasantly surprised! The set I choose was in stock, a comparable price to what I've seen on the web and included FREE delivery, which was scheduled exactly 5 days later. The furniture arrived as scheduled and was unwrapped and set up by a very courteous Kaufman Allied driver (not a third party). Everything was in perfect condition. We bought our deck furniture here, but when we replaced that first umbrella, went with an inexpensive one from the internet. This time, we wanted to go back to the collar controlled tilt feature, so we headed to Fortunoff. It was an early Labor Day deal, and we left happy! A $599 umbrella (that IS a bit silly) was on sale for $199. While that's about double the cheap ones on the net... this one is built better and had the features we wanted. Our sales guy Bill was very helpful, with no pressure. We wanted to bring home the umbrella that day, so he told us what was in stock... and we chose a dark tan model that fit out furniture and chair pads. The holiday sales take the sting out of the regular prices. Wait for them and you'll be rewarded!
