But, beyond the expected hamburgers and a great selection of shakes, they have chicken 'n' waffles, fried shrimp, and other dishes. Everything is indeed fast food yet at the same time tastes homemade. My shrimp were good though a bit too salty for my liking, the waffle fries fine, the bread roll (really? not hushpuppies?) ok if weird to me to include in a seafood basket. Their house MotLee's Sauce is certainly the sauce to ask for, by the way. All in all, a good, economical choice for fast food plus to support something local and unique.

Husband got a smash burger with sweet potato fries and a Heath bar shake. Everything was served quickly by the nice young man behind the counter, all was hot and looked great. Everything was delicious, with the highpoints being the sweet potato waffle fries, the biscuit, and the milkshakes. I got ranch and the Motlee sauce for my chicken and both were excellent, the ranch is def homemade. We'll be back around the next time we head in or out on I-10, although it's only 30 minutes from where I live in Jax, so we might make the drive just for dinner one night.

Wendy's is the only fast food on Hwy 301 for miles, unless you go into the city of Starke. This…read moremakes it a must by lack of other choices. I have never failed to be disappointed. Service was good, we ate in the dining room. My chicken breakfast sandwich was good and points that they added tomato and lettuce for me. That was impressive. The breakfast wrap my friend ate was not as impressive as my choice. He didn't like it. What stands out for this particular store is the staff. The girl taking the order was the absolute only contact or conversation during the entire visit. When I come inside, the staff has a constant, loud conservation going with each other across the store. I know entirely too much about their lives after leaving. On one previous visit the guy in the back was having a loud conservation with a girl at the cash register (yes, with multiple customers waiting in line), regarding her "wet, hot p***y". Really? Profanity is flung around with no regard. It is amazing how much time is spent just standing and talking with each other at this particular store. Ambiance is ok, usually empty. Music is ok if you can hear it over the loud conservations from the other side of the counter. Cleanliness is good. Will I come back? Yes. No other choices but I would never bring small kids into this Wendy's. Even as we finished our meal, all four employees sat at different tables across the dining area and continued to carry on conversations, including profanity. There was complete disregard that was part of the country courtesies once upon a time, for the 84 year old man I was having breakfast with. I guess today's generation curses so much that it is in their casual vernacular. Pat for the course at this store.

We were fairly regular customers, maybe 2-4 times a month, but after this, it will be the last time we eat there. Our $24.95 meal was a small chicken sandwich, a large chicken sandwich, a small fry, and some chicken nuggets.... It was supposed to be an $8 meal bag with one chicken, and one jr bacon cheeseburger, and 2 classic chicken sandwiches for $6 + a $3 tag for pup cup frosties....I don't care how you add it up, it doesnt come out to what we were charged for imaginary food This isn't the first time this has happened. If you are on 301 near Waldo, and want something to eat, I suggest waiting until you get to Hawthorne, and going to Mc Donalds....

We've been wanting to try Raising Cane's Chicken since we heard they were opening this location…read more Today I ordered The Box Combo. * The chicken fingers were good and very tender. The flavor was just ok. The fries were good and great flavor. The coleslaw and great flavor. Everything was super clean. The staff were very friendly. * The negatives in our opinion; they called out the orders over the intercom system VERY loud!!! One of the girls would yell the person's order over the intercom. Everyone around us would hold their ears. When the guy would call out the order it was fine. We sat outside in the patio area. There were teenage kids at the table next to us that was being sooo loud and yelling back and forth and would even throw things and each other. After about 10 minutes when we sat down to eat thank goodness they left!!!! In our opinion (my wife and I) we felt Cane's was OK. Don't think it's the best chicken in town but definitely not the worst. We will definitely be back some time.

For a fast casual dining restaurant, off the bat, the exterior of this location is very inviting with its contemporary style. The aesthetics of this location continues inside with it's decor and the various seating arrangements which include the standard height, booths and bar height tables. As for the food, I appreciate that there's not a crazy amount of options. It's mainly Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Texas Toast, Coleslaw and their Cane's sauce. Their drink options include: fountain dinks, iced tea, and lemonade. We learned that the lemonade is made in-house and freshly squeezed each day, which was actually pretty delicious. We got The Box combo so we could try a little of everything. The toast was nicely buttered and toasty. The chicken fingers and coleslaw were just average tasting. The chicken was fried well and juicy on the inside but it felt like it lacked a bit of flavor. It wasn't bland but I guess if you dipped in into the sauce, it's their saving grace. The Cane's Sauce is really good, by the way. The coleslaw tasted as I expected so nothing really stood out to me. There are 2 family restrooms with changing tables. It was nice, clean and well stocked with paper products. High chairs are available outside the restrooms. And the service we received was great!

Had an amazing first experience at New York Pizza Plus this summer!…read more I am not from this area, so I visited here for lunch on the recommendation of some locals. We stopped on a Thursday in July for lunch on our way into Gainesville. The store is located on the corner of a strip of several businesses. There is a shared parking lot for the strip, but we did not have any trouble finding a spot. The restaurant was healthily busy, but we were seated right away. The inside is cozy, but can accommodate larger groups in the back room. I was in a group of 5, and we all opted to eat at the lunch buffet. Having previously eaten at chain pizza buffets, I did not expect the variety and quality that this buffet offered. In addition to a plethora of pizza and bread options, there were various cold salads (such as chicken, tuna, traditional salad, etc), and hot pasta and Italian dishes. It was an amazing spread! I had to make sure my eyes were not bigger than my stomach, since everything looked so good. I started off with a plate of salads and cold items. I love a traditional salad bar, but my favorite from this was the pesto pasta. Next, I tried some of the hot Italian dishes and pizzas - including the meatballs, hot pasta, and several pizza varieties. I did not have a bite of food that I did not like. It truly all was so wonderful. Not only was the food awesome, but so was the price. For the lunch buffet, it was under $100 for five to eat (cannot recall exact price, but I believe it was around $14 or $15 per person). I do not think you would find a better deal for a better meal in the area than this, for the price. The staff and service were great. My drink was refilled several times, and I noticed the buffet was refilled frequently. No complaints on either front. I could not recommend this place enough! I would encourage everyone to visit for the lunch buffet, it is truly a deal you cannot beat. I can't wait until we're back in the area so I can visit here again!
