I Finally got a chance to review one of our favorite spots to do a wine tasting. We first came months ago at a suggestion from some friends to go with them. It was a great tasting of a vineyard in California. A month or so later we went to another tasting that also was quite good. Then, last week we went to another with friends. This time we noticed on the email they explained how to park for free(we never knew this, always grabbed street parking). So the hook up in the parking ramp was nice. We walked into the Gourmetphile to a group of happy people ready to try some wines. We grabbed our seats by our friends and got ready. The spokesman for the company had some words, explaining the Gil family vineyard and its different wines. It's located in Spain and is between a couple of the more famous wine valleys there. Then we were off to the wines. They were quite good. What was debatably even better were the dishes that the owner provide for each wine. Different meats, cheeses and jams. Every dish was designed for that specific wine to match with. It's a few dollars for a tasting here, but when you know it almost good wines, and excellent food, it's worth it. We left with a bottles of wine so obviously these were good. And we look forward to the next one. read more

Wow! These people sure know how to host a wine tasting. We came here recently for a tasting, and loved how organized they were. First of all, the amount of people is limited, making it an almost one on one experience with the person introducing the wines. Allowing us to listen clearly to their information and stories about the wines and wineries and easy to ask questions too. Not only do they know their wines, but they know very well what to pair with them. This was not a random charcuterie plate on the side, they paired each wine with a specific bite/ dish and explained why exactly they chose that an how it would compliment the wine. And, honestly, it all worked harmoniously. At the end of the tasting we were able to buy bottles, and also look at their shop front which has so many delicious cheeses, meats and more, plus, of course, wine to bring home and recreate these tastings experiences at home with your friends, family, or date. Highly recommend coming here, and you will definitely see us checking in again. read more

This is a small shop specializing in wines, cheeses, caviar, truffles, and chocolates. If you love wine you should be sure to go there. There's a sommelier on staff. They have different events which take place on the patio in front of the shop. There are tables and chairs set up. Some of the events are free, but most charge. I've been to a few tastings. I like trying wines I've never had before. Lite food often accompany the wine at their tastings. A schedule of tastings, classes, and events are listed on their web page. There is a somewhat limited menu for people who want to eat there or get carryout. They also offer delivery. The food is upscale. They serve mostly cheese and meat plates, tapas, and deviled eggs. They have $5.00 chefs specials on Saturdays and Sundays. I'll have to try that. The inside of the shop is small and when they have an event it can get very crowded. It's hard to move around the room because of the narrow isles. You won't see this place from the street or parking lot. If your going there you might want to get directions before you go. read more

What a wonderful little place, and I can't thank them enough for helping me pull off a lovely engagement celebration for my fiancé and I, and our families. We haven't really been going anywhere due COVID-19, but Lance and the owner did an incredible job making us feel like part of their family for an evening. They had the whole wine tasting room set up for us, with a bottle of chilled champagne, as well as roses, rose pedals and a banner (that we had provided) to make the room the perfect setting to ask the most important question of my life. The food was fantastic, of course. We got tapas including quicos, olives, and sweet peppers as well as meat and cheese plates that were fantastic. I'm still thinking about the drunken goat cheese (and I usually don't really like goat cheese) and pickled watermelon. Everyone in the store took safety precautions making sure to wear masks and gloves, and they really made our evening so special. Will be back soon to try more meats, cheeses, and wines! read more

For a girls weekend I wanted to send a cheese and charcuterie board to the house that we were staying for everyone to enjoy. Since I am from out of town I just googled for a place in Boca Raton that would prepare one and deliver and hope for the best. I emailed the the manager who got back to me almost immediately and I explained what I needed and he said no problem that he could definitely put together something as I described. We attended a wonderful wine tasting of several Wagner family red wines. Each wine was served with an appropriate food pairing (meats/cheeses, deviled egg, chocolate, etc) which was plenty to get us through the tasting. They offered a nice discount if purchasing any wine that night, but their regular prices were similar to other wine stores, including Total Wine. The owners were pleasant and knowledgeable. Not a hint of wine snobbery (thanks!) They can only seat 16 or so for most tastings, so make a reservation well in advance. We'll be back! read more

This place is not a winery. It is a wine shop with international wines (no local Floridian Wines at all!) that offers only scheduled, expensive wine tastings 75$-100$! that need to be scheduled weeks ahead. I was disappointed because it is misadvertised online. No wine tastings for walk ins so don't water your time if you are around the area and looking for fun things to do. There is no experience here to be found unless you plan it weeks ahead and have lots of $$$$ to waste. I've done wine tastings all over the world, I go every year to Italy to do wine tastings and discover new wines. Nobody in Italy charges you 100$ for tastings. In fact most of the wineries offer wine tastings for free! If you are local in Florida like we are looking for fun things to do, check out other places, as this one will be waste of your time. read more

Made us a beautiful gift basket while we had dinner at the French restaurant around the corner called Casimir- the owner cane over to let me know when it was ready .very helpful and they had very interesting items - a large group sat outside at tables where they were doing wine tastings and pairings . A tiny gourmet shop with a unique selection of goods and extremely high prices. I purchased some of the bresaola, so delicious that it was consumed entirely before returning to the car. If the location were closer to my residence and my budget unrestricted, I would be a regular shopper at this lovely place. Please be aware that parking can be quite tricky, especially on weekends and every evening, because of the many desirable shopping and dining options in this mall. One option is to park in the garage in Mizner and walk, because the weather is almost always perfect anyway, and there are so many places to investigate along the way. We have special ordered a tub of duck fat (for duck confit), had spectacular cheeses and salami's (chef Mel), been introduced to fantastic wines (Lance), and enjoyed the best caviar we have ever had (thanks Blair and Zhanna). Gift baskets are thoughtfully assembled, and everyone is incredibly nice. This is the best small gourmet shop you will find... it is a blast to just take a little extra time and find that special brand of tea you thought you could only get in Europe, or see the Cowgirl Creamery brie without having to go to San Francisco. Many of the wine events sell out early... it is just a great way to spend an evening. We love this gem of a store! read more

Even though the sign said it opens at 11:00 the owner saw me peering through the window and opened the shop. Wow! I had the best cheese ever ( moliterno tartufo with truffle) with a sip of Sangiovese from their tasting.
