She was absolutely running circles around everyone--making drinks, helping guests, answering questions from multiple staff members, and somehow keeping everything moving despite being pulled in every direction. She handled a busy bar with professionalism and a great attitude. What really stood out, though, was watching the chef come out and speak to her in an incredibly rude and disrespectful way in front of a full bar. No employee deserves to be treated like that, especially not someone who was clearly carrying so much of the workload. Kudos to her for staying calm, keeping her composure, and continuing to provide excellent service despite being spoken to in such a rude manner. She was the reason our experience remained positive. I hope management recognizes how valuable she is--and also addresses how inappropriate that interaction was. 0 stars for an uncomfortable experience with the chef. 5 stars for professional bartender

The newly renovated common area and guest rooms blends island feel with a hit of international flavor. The central location is ideal for getting to all points on the island and an evening bike ride for dinner in town. At first we were worried that the airport would bring noise, but that wasn't the case. It was quiet and we kept the windows open every night for the island breeze. The expansive yard offers many activities if you are looking for a quiet day of lounging; corn hole, croquet, hammocks, and an evening bonfire are all options during your stay. The lovely architecture of the inn, yummy breakfast, prime location, and the many other attributes of the inn attracts friendly guests that add to the chill vibe of this quaint inn. So welcoming and yet so unintrusive. So safe but so . . . nifty! We stayed in the Courtyard Suite and found it to be just lovely. Slept wonderfully. All the staff we encountered were welcoming far beyond what mere professionalism required (everyone, but particularly thinking of Glenn, Sue, Brenda, Toby and Liz) - I always felt as welcome at the Francis Malbone House as I did at my grandmother's when I was a kid. Breakfasts and teas were terrific. The indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful, tasteful and interesting. We absolutely look forward to returning.

Impressive! We were on the island in Sept. My friends stayed here and loved it. I come often and have had brunch here, but this is the first time we've stayed. The room was spacious. My 10yr old loved her pull out bed. She asked us to stay longer she had so much fun. Our room was the Tosh. The view is great, they have cheese and wine in the evenings and like I said I've had their brunch, it's great. Emily checked us out and I asked if she would be there in Aug/Sept. Told her wood call her to book and I look forward to seeing her. She was amazing!! I also have to give Rita a shout out. I met her in Sept and she was such a gem to my friends who were staying there.
