Went here for a date night as I had read about it in a magazine as a nice intimate setting with good food. Service: It's definitely small and quaint! Can't beat it as it's only like 6 or so tables a night! Also no worry about tipping as it's all built into the price of the meal. Food: Good but it's one of those "fancy" places so expect smaller plates. Everything had great tasting ingredients and was prepared well, but in a homey way still. Only gave it 4 stars as I expected a bit more for the price.

This was probably the best meal I've had in the DFW area in terms of food + ambiance + service all taken into consideration. I took my husband here for our 7th wedding anniversary. I was surprised I got us in because I didn't call until 2 days before but the owner was very kind and accommodating. The place is very small and only has 5 tables. We were the third table to arrive but the place had filled by the time we were finishing. One thing I love about this place is that they have a no tipping policy. That means the prices are a little higher, but you truly do get what you pay for. We were presented with a seasonal table d'hôte menu that offered a few options for each course. My first course might have been my favorite: a whole sardine served with greens and a spicy remoulade and cucumber tomato salad. The sardine was crispy with just the right salt level and that salad was magic. The remoulade really was spicy, too, but everything was well-balanced. For the salad course I ordered a hearts of palm salad while my husband got a panzanella. Both were delicious. I hate overdressed salads so I was so happy to see how light and carefully dressed my salad course was. For the main courses they had New Zealand venison in two ways (both were surf and turf dishes) on the menu and we decided to give it a try. My husband got loin medallions over gnocchi with shrimp and I got a tenderloin that was served with langoustines and a Gorgonzola sauce. Okay, so I wasn't sure about combining seafood with Gorgonzola, and I wasn't sure about pairing venison with seafood, but I was happy to be proven incorrect. The sauce was, indeed, a little rich and strong so I didn't use all of it but it was still a really nice pairing with the venison. The venison, in addition, was perfectly cooked. I added a cross section picture so you can see just how perfect. The vegetables that accompanied our meal were vibrant and seasonal and delicious. My only regret is I couldn't quite finish everything because I was too full. For drinks we shared a bottle of wine (the selection is excellent, by the way) and instead of doing a dessert we opted for a glass of 40-year-old tawny port. It was delicious. After dinner service, the owner, who cooks everything himself with only one sous chef in the kitchen, came and talked with us for a good 15 minutes and he could not have been more delightful. In addition, our server was attentive and polite without ever hovering. The best part was because they only take 5 reservations a night, we never felt rushed because the staff said no one else was coming in so we could be there as long as we wanted. Our reservation was at 6:30 and we were there for over 2 hours enjoying ourselves. All-in-all, I would highly recommend this place to anyone

This was such a great experience. Wonderful food and great atmosphere. I loved the no tipping and pre fixe menu (so that we didn't go above our budget). Very reasonable prices for such amazing food.

After years of curiosity, we finally made it to Gorji Restaurant last night and it did not disappoint! Most importantly, everything we ordered was cooked to the perfect temperature. The flavors and seasonings were spot on. With only a handful of tables, service is extremely personalized and the environment is very warm and welcoming. Gorgi was so kind to help us rearrange our reservation when I got sick on the original date and greeted us by name when we arrived. His passion for food is really what drives this place to success. We will be back! Oh! I almost forgot! Order a cup of coffee. Just do it.

We have been going to Gorji's for many years and is absolutely one of our favorite restaurants. His attention to detail combined with his immense knowledge of how to use different flavors is unmatched! We have our anniversary dinner here every year and will continue to for years to come.

Chef Gorgi's resturant came up on a random Yelp search as a 4.5 Mediterranean Restaurant in Texas. It was awesome!

The oysters were fresh, plump, and briny, while the cheeseburger definitely lived up to the hype. It was juicy, flavorful, and came with a crunchy pickle on the side that was the perfect complement. The drinks were refreshing and well made. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. She checked on us several times to make sure everything was good, which made the experience even better. The place started filling up quickly as rush hour approached. The bar was packed with people coming in for happy hour, and there was already a wait for seats, so I'd definitely recommend getting there early. Yes, the menu prices have increased, but the happy hour deals still make it worth a visit.

Came to meet a friend for happy hour and I arrived before she did…read more I stood at the hostess stand and there was no one there. Servers walked past me, no one acknowledged me, I finally asked a server if the bar area booths were open seating or did I need to speak to the hostess. He looked at me like he didn't have a clue and at this time the hostess walks up and proceeds to help the ladies behind me. I politely let her know that I had been waiting before them and had not been helped yet to which the ladies smiled and told the hostess "yes, she was here first" - I told her I was here for happy hour and was wondering if there was a place at the bar. She proceeded to tell me there was a waiting list but then told me I could sit out in the patio. I asked would the specials be honored at the patio to which she said yes BUT she needed the table back by 5:30pm. Now mind you, it's 4pm. I took the table and was joined by my guest and Mave was our server. Mave was what saved this experience as she provided great customer service, was extremely informative, attentive and made some great suggestions. I was going to get the cheeseburger however ended up getting the lobster roll because of Maves suggestion. I asked that it be warmed and it came with a side of fries. I also ordered a martini. My guest ordered the lobster roll as well and got an old fashion. The drinks were spectacular, my lobster roll wasn't warm enough to the point where it was cold in the middle and my guest had pieces of shell in her roll. The fries were seasoned and we both enjoyed them. 5:30 came and surprisingly there were lots of open available tables around us that I felt some type of way that the hostess would have said that to me. Overall I can say been there, done that.

From the atmosphere and service to the outstanding food, this restaurant scores perfectly in every category. The ambiance is amazing! The dark, sophisticated interior, complemented by warm accent lighting, creates an inviting and comfortable dining experience. Nicole greeted us with a genuine smile and welcoming spirit before escorting us to our table. Our server, Felicity, was exceptional! She took the time to explain the menu, highlight the specials, and offer thoughtful recommendations. We took her advice and started with the delicious bread and a cup of chicken tortilla soup. What a great beginning! The soup was mouthwatering and bursting with flavor. For our entrée, we ordered the Caesar salad topped with blackened salmon. Absolutely outstanding! Without question, one of the best salads I've ever eaten! This was a lunch visit, and every aspect of the experience exceeded our expectations. Our next visit will definitely be for dinner! I wholeheartedly recommend adding Kenny's Wood Fired Grill to the very top of your must-try list. Go sooner rather than later!
