The taproom is located in an industrial area and shares a space with Pizza Thief. Parking is plentiful and on the Thursday afternoon that I stopped by, the taproom was pretty empty. Happy hour is from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and you're able to get $3 off of select pints. I opted for the Northleft, a hazy IPA and for $4, it can't be beat. This particular hazy had great texture and the hops really pack a punch. If you're not familiar with Great Notion beers, they also have a bunch of delicious sours and "smoothies" that are otherwise very difficult to find from other breweries. It's a true art and only talented brew masters are able to create beers this tasty. If you have an opportunity to head towards this part of town, I highly recommend checking out Great Notion. If you're working remotely, they also have guest WiFi you can connect to to get some work done with beer in hand.

Unfortunately it was way too loud in the back room to enjoy the music, and there was a rowdy FIFA game on, so we headed out pretty quickly. Second visit, we came back on Sunday night for dinner. The vibe was significantly more laid back. We were able to sit in the booths in their main bar area and enjoy pizzas and a sandwich. Across both visits, service was consistently good, the food was solid and satisfying, and the beer was excellent. It's great neighborhood taproom with a fun energy.
