He was very patient and did not rush me at all. I was indifferent about ordering an expensive guitar out of state that I hadn't seen or played. To confirm the appearance of the website photos, Scott also sent photos from his own phone. We agreed on a competitive price including shipping. Before shipping, I also spoke to the guitar tech, Dave. We discussed the setup and action. He changed strings, polished the frets, treated the fingerboard and lowered the action. Both Scott and Dave were very friendly and professional throughout the sales process. The guitar showed up a day early, well packed and in perfect condition. Not a single scratch or blemish. It's a beautiful instrument and exactly as described on the RCMC site. Incredibly build quality. Next level compared to my Gibson SG Standard '61. It plays great and sounds fantastic. Eventually I sent a relative to go pick it up due to lack of progress and it came out that they never actually put it up for sale. They couldn't verify certain aspects of the manufacturing, so instead of telling me this, they basically lied to me... multiple times... and let it gather dust for two years. I can't imagine what they were attempting to do in this situation, it was just baffling and so incredibly creepy. Please take your flutes elsewhere for consignment. These people are not honest.

I dropped off my trumpet for some work and picked up a few items and I loved how friendly the staff. For repairs they gave a basic quote and then they will call once the instrument has been checked out for a final quote. I have no complaints, though I wish their Waterford store had a bigger selection of brass and woodwinds to look through. Everyone I met today was super friendly. What's funny is that I used to live around the corner, as well, until I sold my condo recently. I thought I had messed up my uncle's violin, the bridge had collapsed. I also wanted to get one of my bows restrung. They are by appointment only and I tried emailing them but didn't hear back, so I gave them a call today since I was going to be in the area. I got a new bow from them, as well as new strings. It was a little pricey, about $112, but I know it's a family business. The house looked exactly the same as I had remembered and they have all sorts of cool memorabilia and things on the walls. It looks like they can rent violins too, there were some little kids there who were starting out on their first violins which was nice. They threw in a cloth for me for free and also a luggage tag for the violin, which I thought was very nice. I highly recommend this place even if it's a 30 to 40 minute drive for you like it is for me now.
