I honestly know nothing about jewelry, but he took the time to explain everything to me in a way that I could understand. He explained that my ring couldn't be resized, but recommended a ring guard to make it fit better instead. The prices were extremely reasonable as well! A ring resize is $75, and the ring guard was only $20. The whole process took about 10 minutes, which was so convenient. I really appreciated how kind, caring, and honest he was. I rarely write reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience so others can make an…read moreinformed decision. I brought Diamond Castle my mother's vintage ring; an irreplaceable heirloom with deep sentimental value. I asked for two small stones to be replaced and the band resized. They accepted the job with confidence and never mentioned any concerns about working with a delicate vintage setting. Within just a few days of receiving the ring back, it fell apart completely. The center stone came loose, several prongs failed, and the setting collapsed. This was not due to age or wear. It was the direct result of poor workmanship. What makes this worse is that if Diamond Castle had simply said the work was beyond their capabilities, I would have absolutely accepted that professional judgment. I would have happily kept the ring safely in my jewelry box and treasured it as it was. Instead, they took on a job they clearly weren't equipped for, and now I don't even know if this precious piece can be salvaged. They did refund me for the work, but no refund can repair the damage done to something so personally meaningful. A reputable jeweler should be honest about their limitations especially when handling sentimental or vintage jewelry. I strongly caution anyone considering trusting Diamond Castle with important or irreplaceable pieces. Transparency, skill, and care matter and unfortunately, my experience showed a lack of all three.

He demonstrated the inner workings of the actions and hammers, and compared the sound of varying brands (e.g. Yamaha vs. Kawai) and price levels. He was knowledgeable, courteous, took his time with me, and wasn't pushy. I felt like I was getting honest answers to whatever questions I asked. I feel a little bad that I didn't end up buying a piano from Kawai after the time he spent with me, but I wouldn't hesitate to come back here in the future.
