I started my son in drum lessons at Axis Music and couldn't be happier! It's a very professional business but they also really focus on the love for music. His teacher is awesome! She's a professional musician and is currently creating her own content for teaching drums to such little people (my son started when he was four) because there are no good books out there for his age. Her lessons remind me of Goldfish swim school - she continues to do the same process each week so that he gets better and better at the basics. But each time she adds something new and fun. Then at the end of class he's able to do something he's excited about (a certain song on youtube or whatever). Even being so young she's kept him motivated and engaged. There are a wide variety of lesson options and different classes you can take at Axis. My son has taken lessons on piano, guitar, and vocals. Currently, there's a Glee Club they recently started that he wants to participate in. The lessons are worth every penny we're paying for them. read more
