I was able to try their 55 minute Swedish massage. The ambiance inside is dark, calming, and they have ocean waves as audio going. It is amazing. The set up is cute and aesthetic, they have a basket or hanger for your clothing and a bowl for your jewelry. The massage bed is heated so it is nice and warm in there. You won't get cold. They also have a sheet and a sheep skin looking top blanket that adds a small amount of weight that is enjoyable. Prior to walking in there's a small area where you can talk to your massage therapist and let them know about any preferences, ad ons or problematic areas. The only thing I did not like was that the lotion used leaves such an uncomfortable feeling on the skin. I think it's pretty standard at these types of massage joints, but expect to tip at minimum $20 for a 60 min massage, otherwise they will give you the death eye and you'll be super uncomfortable, so to not get that feeling right after a long, distressful and relaxing massage, just be prepared to fork up the extra $10 in advance before paying and it will be all good vibez. In the end, you're paying $70 for an hour long full body massage with hot stones & oil, which is still a killer deal. However, when I got home, I discovered what appeared to be a burn mark on my back. As someone who has received cupping treatments from licensed massage therapists in the past, I am familiar with the circular marks that cupping can leave behind. This was not that. It was clearly a burn. When I contacted the business to express my concern, I was disappointed that the initial response was to suggest that the burn was a normal result of cupping. In my experience, that explanation was inaccurate. They then offered a discount on a future massage as a gesture of goodwill. Against my better judgment, I returned a few weeks later expecting the promised discount, only to learn that it amounted to just $5 off. Considering the fact that I left with a burn from a paid service, this felt dismissive and showed a lack of accountability for what occurred. The combination of an unprofessional environment, an injury sustained during treatment, and a poorly handled customer service response left me extremely disappointed.
