Tried to get a clear image of my nails, sorry if it is slightly out of focus…read more For my review, I liked a couple things and I didn't like a couple things. 1. I wish their hours were a bit longer. For example they are open normally 10-7pm. I am a morning person so I would have wanted to come in before 10am. Also I wanted to originally go in after work on Friday, but by the time I would have gotten home + got ready to go to the salon it wouldn't have been enough time for my service and they'd be closed. 2. During my actual service my nail tech for my manicure was a bit late. This didn't really bother me until the end when her next client was waiting and I felt like she was rushing. She did give a great hand massage though. 3. I also noticed I think the manager or owner talk to the other clients while on the spa chairs - but not me, even though I'd been there since opening. Not a big deal but I wanted to be included haha 4. The actual manicure was sloppy, not sure if you can see in the pictures but the polish in person isn't evenly layered where you can see gaps in the opacity. And then the polish is going over the edges and on top of my cuticle which is a big no - no. I noticed my cuticles aren't even pushed back. There's also debris? And markings underneath my polish and that was like that in the salon after she did it so I know that wasn't me after. These photos are taken the day after. I also got a pedicure but those are a bit harder to inspect. Although they look nice. 5. For the price of $99 + $10 tip to each nail tech = $119 I am not sure if it was worth it for being sloppy. For this quality of manicure I could have probably done it at home and save the money for another salon. I also inquired about acrylic and dip powder to find out that they don't do acrylic which was shocking that a nail salon doesn't do acrylic nails? And the technician who does dip powder was not in that day - to which I would think you had have at least one on duty the whole time especially on a weekend. 6. I did like that they take apple pay and the ease to pay with my phone. And they did say it would take an hour - which it did thankfully. I think everything considered it's probably a strong 3/5. In this economy I would really only like to spend my money at places I absolutely love. P.s. they have a no show/cancellation policy that charges you so I'd be weary giving them your cc info to have on file. I am big on not wasting people's time but 24 hour notice isn't always possible with emergencies. I would prefer a policy like 2-4 hours ahead of time - they also do open later at 10am so hoping that is not counted against the customer.

When I finished with my deluxe pedicure and went to pay for it with the $98 that was remaining on…read moremy Bliss gift card, I was told -- by the woman I believed was the new owner -- that the gift card would not be honored. She gave me some lame excuse about how the previous owner did their accounting on paper. So?! When she purchased Bliss, she also inherited all the money that was used to buy gift cards. I have no doubt that I'd be awarded my money back if I took Bliss to small claims court, but for 100 bucks, it's just not worth it. Instead, I'll find an honorable place to conduct my mani/pedi business. Bliss on Broadway? Couldn't be further from the truth.
