This gopher problem was quite unnerving for me because I take such pride in our garden and landscape...and these critters were being quite destructive. After three weeks of chasing a gopher problem around my backyard with over-the-counter poison (I know :(( but I know from previous experience, they are so destructive there is no other choice), there were holes all over my small yard and I risked losing some mature plants. I found 'Catch' and made an appointment for only a few days later. The technician, Janna, was right on time and Covid safe, as well as informative and efficient. Their price is reasonable considering the technique they use which will absolutely eradicate any issues. It is poison-free; using only CO2 throughout the tunnel system which is deadly but, to my mind, more humane than trapping or poisoning. The cost includes returning three weeks later as insurance that the deed is done. This is a month later and I haven't seen any activity sense. Scheduled my first appointment for same day, which sounded great. Was really in a bind and so I told them no problem - I'll take off the end of my work day to meet them. They canceled on me in under an hours notice because "it would take too long to get to my house".... I live in los angeles and they booked me for a 6:30pm appointment...do the traffic math and figure it out. Then told me they would just come another time even though I wasn't home "because I didn't need to be there". Insanely unprofessional, wasted my time. They were nice and responsive, but the gopher activity started again a few days after the treatment with holes fluffed back up and a couple of new mounds nearby. They came back out and I had to remind them of the warranty because they were planning on charging me. The gopher problem never stopped and after 30 days they said the warranty was over. So it's not really a warranty. It doesn't guarantee to get rid of the problem. They'll just come out again. It didn't work for us unfortunately. read more

Five months ago I signed a contract with Catch of Thousand Oaks to control My gopher problem. The contract was for 2 visits per month for three months each visit cost $425 . After the initial three months they said they would return once or twice a month for $125 per visit. When I attempted to arrange a follow up visit I have been told that I am on a wait list for services the one time I got through to them. Since then they have not returned my calls and no follow up was arranged. It appears that if you pay them $425 / visit they honor their contract. Installed new sod with chicken wire underneath (didn't know any better at the time, this was not a CATCH install). I had CATCH service our property several times over the past year or so and saw decent results the first time, but after a few visits the person spent less and less time and the squirrels kept coming back without even making a difference. My main complaint though was when we now call we don't get a response because they know we are a small client. I guess the small guys don't matter? I had a situation at my friends grandmothers house. I was visiting him and helping him and his granny to move some gardening supplies out of the yard.
