I had a mole problem that I tried to fix with gas cartridges ; that didn't work. I called Zach and within a few days, Tim came in the middle of the Covid pandemic and masked, he baited the yard. He came again 14 days later and put some more bait. It is not inexpensive ($375) but they guarantee the work for a month. Tim was professional and courteous . Let's hope that this good result is sustained. read more

We had a gopher that was giving us problems around the sidewalk/driveway so traps would not work. The team is very professional and knowledgable about gopher behaviors and they were able to get the gopher successfully and give us some tips on how to deter them in the future. They are very responsive and were able to squeeze us in so the problem did not escalate. Would gladly hire them again! read more

We had a horrible roach infestation. No amount of bug spray or traps helped. We called in this crew of pros as a last resort and it's one of the best decisions I've made for our home. They came out, assessed the issue, quoted us a very good price and erraticated the problem. The pest control was safe for our pets and with one swoop, they got rid of our disgusting roaches. I highly recommend this team of professionals. You won't regret it. read more

I tried a variety of remedy's and traps to get rid of these ground destroying nuisances but they are hardy fellows. So a few times I've need professional help and, thankfully, Catch was there. It usually doesn't take long to get an appointment which when dealing with gophers you can't wait too long. This year both technicians wore masks and stayed an appropriate distance from me. They do a thorough search for mounds and holes and find ones that I haven't seen. I had a new one crop up but Matt came out and took care of it for me. I will say this is not a cheap way to go but it's efficient and saves me from finding my garden destroyed. For me, it's worth every cent. read more

This gopher problem was quite unnerving for me because I take such pride in our garden and landscape...and these critters were being quite destructive. We tried to remedy the problem ourselves for a few days but they kept moving from one parcel to another, just chomping on flowers and leaving bald trail spots. We knew that a professional was needed and fast, so I got on Yelp and found this company. There are a few pests company in our area but we wanted one that specialized in gopher control and would be the most effective. To render service, Zach drove 90 mins to our home on Sunday and was very prompt and personable. He inspected the property and got right to work by filling each entry with gas, while explaining the process and other gopher fun facts to me. It took a bit over an hour to complete. His price was quite reasonable and I took advantage of the Yelp discount, so this wasn't a major financial burden at all. Overall, my mind is more at ease that our yard will be okay now and we made the best decision to use Zach's service. read more

After three weeks of chasing a gopher problem around my backyard with over-the-counter poison (I know :(( but I know from previous experience, they are so destructive there is no other choice), there were holes all over my small yard and I risked losing some mature plants. I found 'Catch' and made an appointment for only a few days later. The technician, Janna, was right on time and Covid safe, as well as informative and efficient. Their price is reasonable considering the technique they use which will absolutely eradicate any issues. It is poison-free; using only CO2 throughout the tunnel system which is deadly but, to my mind, more humane than trapping or poisoning. The cost includes returning three weeks later as insurance that the deed is done. This is a month later and I haven't seen any activity sense. I would absolutely recommend Catch and would use them again. read more

Zach is the best. I had a gopher that was slowly and systematically killing plants in my newly landscaped front yard. I tried everything with no success. Rather than let the gopher continue his destructive ways I felt it was time to send him to gopher heaven. I went on the computer and searched yelp and after reading the reviews, I decided to give Zach a call. I could not have made a better choice. Zach thinks like a gopher. He came over the same day and gassed and baited all the tunnels. No more gopher, no more loss of plants. Although not cheap, definitely worth it. Yes I would definitely recommend this company. read more

We have had a horrible problem with gophers and rats. We used Catch with both problems. I am completely happy with the completion of the job. No more rats under our house. Thank you Zac. read more

Absolutely a pleasure to work with. I appreciate the follow through and checking in to ensure issues are resolved.

Please do not embarrass yourself. Zach, your missed your first appt., and simply said you forgot. So, no, you didn't arrive 30 mins. ahead of your time. I had to call u and find out how come you didn't show and didn't call. And as far as treating the border of my neighbor's property, it was brought up by you, not me. You said you were concerning the gophers by the border area may be coming on to our property. I asked if you can help me treat that area. And you said yes. But the 2nd treatment after you arrived, you never did. I even confirmed with you after you arrived. So, let's not play that game. Also, when Matt arrived for the 4th treatment, Matt was talking to my neighbor, Hamida. My neighbor didn't know who he was, and asked what he was doing. Matt explained to her that he was from your company and she acknowledged we DID spoke to her about this in advance. She even asked if the gas that used was poisonous or not. Please DO NOT make up stories that are not true. You have been calling me for the past week on the daily basis is uncalled for. NO, I don't need your special offer that you left on my voice mail. And yes, I will not change my initial review. But base on your deceiving information you have just provided, I will change to 1 star base on your bad service and fail to tell the truth. My neighbor can be the eye witness to this whole scenario between her interaction with Matt. read more

Our house is next to a wild field and we had recently been over run by gophers 'all of a sudden', so I was not sure what to expect from Catch. Zack responded to my call promptly and set an appointment. He arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and took the time to educate me on how the gophers tunnel and how his treatment works. He didn't appear to be bothered by my many questions and didn't rush the treatment. He did a thorough job, was knowledgeable and professional and I highly recommend him. read more

Zach came back out, after a misunderstanding with my wife's text msgs, and calls. We have come to an agreement that makes me, and my wife happy. read more

Scheduled my first appointment for same day, which sounded great. Was really in a bind and so I told them no problem - I'll take off the end of my work day to meet them. They canceled on me in under an hours notice because "it would take too long to get to my house".... I live in los angeles and they booked me for a 6:30pm appointment...do the traffic math and figure it out. Then told me they would just come another time even though I wasn't home "because I didn't need to be there". Insanely unprofessional, wasted my time. They were nice and responsive, but the gopher activity started again a few days after the treatment with holes fluffed back up and a couple of new mounds nearby. They came back out and I had to remind them of the warranty because they were planning on charging me. The gopher problem never stopped and after 30 days they said the warranty was over. So it's not really a warranty. It doesn't guarantee to get rid of the problem. They'll just come out again. It didn't work for us unfortunately. read more

Zach has done an amazing job getting the gophers under control on my 3 acre property. It's taking a few applications, as expected, but what a difference. It's so refreshing to look on to my lawn and not see mounds of dirt. Or, to walk on my grass and not worry about twisting an ankle in a gopher hole. I highly recommend Catch read more

The technician was on time, professional and thorough. Treated front and back yard twice. Gopher infestation was extensive. Now ready for landscaping. Would use again. Highly recommend. read more

Zach and Matt were professional, on time, and got the job done! They were inexpensive and really knew what they were doing. Thanks!

Our house is on the hillside where wild animals roam free. Zach saved our backyard from destruction of wild gophers who dug their way into our lot. There were countless mounds through out our lawn, a maze of underground tunnels, and penetrated roots of our fruit roots. Zach caught several gophers and probably killed a whole bunch more. He was very diligent and methodical at every visit. I highly recommend his services. read more

Five months ago I signed a contract with Catch of Thousand Oaks to control My gopher problem. The contract was for 2 visits per month for three months each visit cost $425 . After the initial three months they said they would return once or twice a month for $125 per visit. When I attempted to arrange a follow up visit I have been told that I am on a wait list for services the one time I got through to them. Since then they have not returned my calls and no follow up was arranged. It appears that if you pay them $425 / visit they honor their contract. Follow up visits at $125 / visit ....you are thoroughly ignored. Customer service, follow up , and honoring their own contract is nil , a joke, buyer beware! read more

Terrific service!! Got rid of the gophers! Super easy. Highly recommend this company! read more

We bought a house over the summer and inherited the gophers that lived in the yard. My husband and I tried every trap we could find but couldn't get the little critters. We heard about Catch and gave them a call. Zach came out the next day and in 1 hour was able to eliminate the gophers we had been making ourselves crazy over for 6 months. Incredible!!!! It's been three weeks since the treatment and no sign of the gophers, not only in our yard but the surrounding neighbor's yards too! I am so sorry we didn't call sooner. Amazing job, friendly, professional and reliable. I would highly recommend Catch. read more

They stood behind their promise and came back to treat my gopher problem. I can recommend them.

I take pride in my yard and a few weeks ago woke up to 3 mounds of dirt. I became Bill Murray from "Caddyshack" and tried everything. After two weeks with additional mounds appearing, I knew nothing was working and needed to call professionals. On Yelp, everyone mentions "Zach," so I called and requested Zach. However, Zach was not available and there was no time to waste for more damage to appear. "Matt" was sent to my home. Matt arrived on time, was professional and efficient. Its been one week and no mounds have appeared. I'm extremely happy, satisfied AND grateful. I highly recommend Catch and if Matt is sent to your home, you too are in good hands(smile)! Thank you Matt... read more

Zach was great! Don't waste your money trying to get rid of gophers yourself - you will just spend unnecessary money and still have gophers. Call Catch and let the professionals deal with it. read more

Installed new sod with chicken wire underneath (didn't know any better at the time, this was not a CATCH install). Needles to say, that didn't stop gophers and they got to the new grass within 2 months. Contacted CATCH via Yelp, they were quick to respond, flexible with my availability and were able to do CO treatment on the spot! It's been a few weeks now and I haven't seen any new mounds! Really impressed with the immediate results, looking forward to enjoying the yard with the fantastic california weather coming up! read more

HE KNOW'S WHAT HE'S DOING WHEN IT COMES TO GOPHERS!!! i've spent hundreds on traps, moth balls, and .those solar powered mole repellers that didn't work (probabally because I had a gopher problem) . Zach was prompt, friendly, and professional. He treated my front yard for gophers. I would recommend his services.

I live on a hill side in Rancho Palos Verdes. Gophers were making a mess of our new sod lawn. I initially called and contracted a big name franchise. Their technicians laid traps, caught 2 gophers over couple of weeks time. In 3 months the gophers were back but my 60 day guarantee ran out. They wanted to charge me again to do the same job. This time I called Catch based on reviews. Talked to Zack who patiently explained their toxic free approach. He sent out Justin, who also took time to explain procedure. He did a first treatment. 3 weeks later came back and did a second treatment. Justin was so conscientious, knowledgeable and responsible. He took the time to do job right. I could tell this was going to eliminate problem. 3 months later and no signs of gophers! I am over the top impressed with Catch! I heartily recommend read more

Gophers have taken over every square inch of our property. We called Zach today and he was able to come out the same day and on time. Highly professional, thorough and knowledgeable. I had CATCH service our property several times over the past year or so and saw decent results the first time, but after a few visits the person spent less and less time and the squirrels kept coming back without even making a difference. My main complaint though was when we now call we don't get a response because they know we are a small client. I guess the small guys don't matter? My traps and methods are they same as theirs anyways except for their poison gas....which I don't think works. read more

I had a situation at my friends grandmothers house. I was visiting him and helping him and his granny to move some gardening supplies out of the yard. She started complaining about rodents digging in her yard and destroying some of the roots in the soil causing some of the plants to die. I don't know how she kept it up all this time when I realized it was gopher holes that were destroying her beautiful garden. A friend of mine told me about "Catch" and what a name!! Their title says all. It will most certainly live up to it's rep. I referred them to my buddy and his Granny and sent them their info going by my friends word since they were local. She said that they stopped by for a consultation very quickly and said that they were indeed gophers and could be caught in no time. They returned the next day and set up the appropriate traps and caught those guys within days. She was so blessed. I love it when things like that happen. Good work for the prompt service and not making me look like a fool...Look for these guys!!! Thumbs up all the way! read more

So I have never ever had to deal with any gopher problems until I moved here to the valley southern california. So I had a referral from my friend who I work with. He used them and raved about them.. So thanks again and I highly recommend them to anyone dealing with this predicament. read more

I can't say enough about Zach and the crew and Catch. We live in Westlake on a large grass lot. Zach has been honest, forthright, professional, kind and courteous. Living in the San Fernando Valley for the past 20 years, we've seen more than our share of gophers. Spent thousands of dollars on landscaping many times over due to the lack of other gopher control companies. With Zack and Matt at Catch, I know we have finally found the right company. After the first treatment, the grass, trees, shrubs and flowers that were on the hills and flat areas started to green up and bloom. It's like everything started to breathe again. And no more mounds and holes. If you are looking for the best and a company that takes pride in their service, this is the one! They show up when they're scheduled and do what they promise. read more
