I stopped by after work for dinner on a chilly Tuesday evening. The place was not busy at all since it was a holiday week. Like before, there are wooden stairs to climb to get to the restaurant entrance. There is the dining room to the right of the bar with tables and booths. There is also outside patio deck seating overlooking the golf course. The bar area has a few high top tables nearby, TVs above the bar. The full service bar offers 12 beers on tap, wine, cocktails, and mixed drinks. I sat myself at an empty high chair up at the bar. I was given a menu and got an ice water. It happened to be Taco Tuesday with $3 tacos and $5 margaritas offered. They also host live music and trivia nights.
I decided to order 3 tacos ((1 pulled pork, 1 grilled chicken, 1 buffalo chicken)-$9 plus tax), Spaghetti & Meatballs ($16 plus tax) and added a Side Salad ($3 plus tax). The side salad came out first, which was a plate of green lettuce, ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, and red peppers, dressing on the side. The rest of the food came out as I finished the salad.
The 3 tacos were filled with the appropriate amount of proteins, lettuce, & shredded cheese in warm soft flour tortillas. The crispy buffalo chicken, grilled chicken and pulled pork tacos were pretty good, though taco sauce or salsa on the side would've enhanced the tacos.
The spaghetti & meatballs was a good sized portion which was actually soft cooked linguine with a decent tomato sauce, 2 large soft meatballs and grated parmesan cheese already sprinkled on top. I finished all of the food, but I passed on dessert.
The check with Toast QR came out to $30.38 with tax and before tip. Overall, another pretty good dinner near the Angus Lea Golf Course, which is comparable to its predecessors. The service was adequate here and I believe the same bartender from Leo's took care of me again at TOTG. Hopefully, TOTG will be here in Hillsboro for a long time.
