The company is good The products are good. The mechanics are good. The only thing wrong is a so called "manager" David sowell, or nowell or something like that. This guy held me up 3 hours just to get my car. This is a VERY long complicated story that I can not possibly put into words. Basically I had to have my car towed to Good Year to have 2 front tires on it. I was told BY HIM to call a specific number to use that specific towing company. I did. Talked to a great lady names Stephanie at American Wrecking. She told me since I was less than 2 miles away from the tire shop, that my towing was waived, THEY took care of the towing for me. How cool is that? Anyway when I got to the shop, this David person was getting an earful from a other customer because he had lost their tire lock and keys, and the customer was left without a way for him to fill his tires! David ignored them and left them standing there like 2 lost people. He finally told those customers he would buy them another lock for the tires. BUT THEY STILL HAD NO SERVICE THAT DAY! So they leave and I come up to pay my bill and get back to work. This guy played games with me for over 3 hours. Took my check, tried to charge me for towing, then said he had to have documentation in order for me to get waived towing. Like...what does he want me to do, get a written letter from the tow company? Why yes, yes he did.So I asked him for the number to the tow company HE told me to call. He gave me a number and he told me he was calling them at the same time. I let him do his thing cause i thought finally i can get back to work! But.......NOOOOOPE! He got a person on the phone and said" we don't ever waive tow charges right?"....Guess the other person said well...no. So he hung up and said "see I told you we do not waive tow charges". So I asked him to give me the same number he just called...he read it off to me, I called and it was AT&T something or another. Totally gave me the wrong number on purpose, he thought that was really funny. The prick! Then he said to me....Ill need another form of payment. I was like you said I could write a check. Thats why I came in. He said for me to pay cash now. I told him I dont have cash on me, i only have checks you said i could use. He said for me to take an uber to chase bank and get cash, I told him how am i gonna get there, you wont give me back my keys, he said take the uber. I told him I just had my uber leave and if i knew he wanted me to pay cash now, i would have gotten it before I came in. I also remarked that my credit card had become compromised and I was waiting for the new one to come in the mail, that that was the reason I gave him my business, because he said I could pay with a check, he said ...walk. Chase bank was 4 miles down the road, I am 61 and recently spent a month in the hospital with heart issues. He thought that was funny too. The prick. I was SOOO frustrated I started to cry. I didnt have anyone to help me, I'm a transplant from Cali and Mich, I didnt know anyone! At that moment I received a phone call from the towing company. They told me the tow was PAID and let her (Stephanie) talk to him. He refused to talk to her! I was like...dude here is your proof, the company owner herself! I do not owe you a tow charge! Finally another call from the tow company and they had THE OWNER walk in to verify I did not owe the tow charge. David proceeded to put him through the ringer as well, so the guy Ryan, CALLED THE OWNER OF THE ENTIRE NATIONAL ACCOUNT FOR GOOD YEAR, AND THAT MAN EXPLAINED IT TO DAVID. David relented and said ok ok. So he gave me the cost without the tow charge, but insisted me getting cash, so i called the verification company, my bank, those 2 spoke and my bank verified MY CHECK WAS GOOD! But he would not listen, and when he got off the phone with all these people, told me flat out he was not going to accept my cash, that I HAD to pay cash, and I HAD to pay the tow bill! The tow company owner Ryan told David he would be getting back to him with paperwork from his attorney! He was kind enough to have the other tow driver give me a ride to the bank so I could get cash. The bank told me Merchant Fraud.....something is up. So I went back to the good year place, and had to pay all that cash. I asked when I would be reimbursed for the tow, he said "I dont know".......wtf?????...... I took Ron in with me (the other tow driver) for a witness, David told him to leave his store, that he didnt want him there, Ron never said a word except that it was HE that actually towed my car. He was very nice, this DAVID was OFF THE CHAIN! He would not return my voided check, falsified my receipt saying I got a free tire ( i could be misunderstanding him, but Ron said No you are not, , thats why i took a pic of the paperwork, cause this guy falsified your receipt. It goes from there but not enough room read more
