Who knew that just driving next door to another repair shop could save you close to $400 on 2 front struts and 2 tires for the rear. Doing that saved me almost a third of the costs. The gentleman behind the counter heard my story about what I was quoted to fix 2 problems so I could drive at least another 50,000 miles. He gave me a quote and added he could find a 10% discount to save a little more. I made an appointment for 1:00 and came back. Got NAPA struts and Kelly tires witn a 4 wheel alignment. Took longer than originally estimate, but that can be expected especially if you have an afternoon appointment. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want and even reset the tire pressure to what I like to run for gas mileage. (Saturns are like Goldilocks about what tires and pressure those tires are set, get it wrong can cost up to 5 mpg) Having long hair and boobs, I have to be careful who I have work on my 17 year old baby. Some shops see someone that they can fool and make a HUGE profit. But I am those types of shops biggest nightmare, a female that knows cars and what it should cost that also have a big mouth. It's a freakin' shame. I have used Goodyear centers for years. I've used multiple locations, as well and this location has irked me enough to write a review, because I have not given them the benefit of the doubt once, twice.... but five times! I have a card through Goodyear, and I use them for their financing options to pay off larger car repairs within 6 months during the promo financing, so this is the primary reason I use Goodyear. The other reason is that they are open on Sundays, which is just not really a common thing for auto shops, other than the Jiffy Lubes of the world. So, where does this frustration come from, you ask? I have called this location 5 different times in the span of 1 year to have my car looked at for either an emergency related item, tire related item, HELL, even an oil change, and I've been told "We can't look at your vehicle until Wednesday". It's always the same. Call on Friday.... "Can't get you in till Wednesday" Call on Sunday morning... "Can't get you in till Wednesday." Monday.... "Sorry, Can't get you in till Wednesday". At this point, you think their corporate office would just send them a giant banner, or one of those inflatable tube guys that says "Can't get you in till Wednesday", because that seems to be the beloved motto of this store. Guys, what in the actual HECK!? I drive by your shop to see only two vehicles on lifts, and maybe 3 vehicles sitting in the lot, and you CAN'T get me in until Wednesday??? Seriously??? I've been let down so much by this location. I'm almost just going to consider them closed down as a location, and use either Hilliard or Grovecity at this point, because it won't matter.... they must only have one tech working in the entire garage on their weekends. Ridiculous. Flippin' ridiculous. If you have an emergency, you might as well keep looking, because you're not going to get your car fixed within an afternoon here. read more

They have always been truthful, honest and incredibly down to earth. They will not steer you wrong, and are truley a blessing. My tire had been annoyingly randomly losing air for months. I drove from Colorado to Ohio with a tire that wouldn't hold air. About a week ago, I ran over something on the highway accidentally (didn't see it till the last moment possible) and my bumper had popped out of its normal holes on the body of the car. There was also a piece hanging off of the front bumper which was not scratching on the ground, it just looked awkward and odd... like it could become a problem if not checked/pushed back up into place. My boyfriend had suggested that we replace my tire at Goodyear on Broad St. because he had minor (VERY minor) body work done there before, like checking on a body screw/pin and replacing it if they had some. We thought it would be smart to have the tire place check the hanging thing on the front bumper because they were going to have the whole car in the air. We advised them when we dropped my Mitsubishi Eclipse off on 7/30 (Monday) around 10am that we needed one tire replaced - the passenger side front tire, and asked if they could fix my bumper which is together right now but missing a bumper clip, and look at the hanging thing on the front bumper. The guy we dropped it off with said "Yes of course we can look at that stuff no worries" so of course, we were expecting them to have some idea about it when we picked it up. This place closes at 6pm. Around 5:20 they called us and advised my wheel lock was stripped. 40 minutes before they close. For one tire. Seriously. At this time, my boyfriend asked (since they had my poor car at this point for an entire 7 hours) if they'd looked at the hanging piece on the front bumper yet. Of course, the answer was 'no'. Very obviously, no matter how understaffed the place is, they decided that since I was not waiting they would do my car last for that day. They got to it at the very end of the day and ran into the wheel lock snag issue. This, in my opinion, is a very poor way to do business. The next morning came and went. They called us around noon the next Tuesday (7/31) to ask us which tire they are replacing. My boyfriend had to tell the guy on the phone that it was the passenger side tire three times on that one call. Intelligently, my boyfriend decided to ask them to unscrew all of the wheel lock nuts so that I wouldn't have to deal with that if I got a flat on the highway. Happily, the manager decided he would replace them all for free (again obviously) so that he wouldn't have to discount the tire or the poor, poor service we received during those two days of them holding my car hostage for ONE TIRE. When I went to get my car around 5pm that night, I expressed my concerns to the manager and a guy in the store. They decided that freeing out the wheel locks was all they could do to compensate my frustration, disappointment and time. I of course asked if they'd even looked at the bumper on the back or the hanging thing on the front of my car. Dismayed, the manager (Tim) asked what the problem was with the bumper as he didn't see anything obviously from the inside of the store as we were inspecting my car outside of the window. I explained to him where the problems were and he told me to go to a body shop. ~~~Just a little fyi here - when I got home, I crawled on the ground and pushed the plastic piece up to where it goes. That's seriously all the Goodyear place had to do, and it would've taken 4 seconds of that over 24 hour time frame they were holding my car. When I got in my car, I noticed the Ibuprofen bottle I keep in my center console was sitting in my driver's seat. Weird. And when I went to open my center console to put it back in there, I noticed a large white mark on the console, like something hit it and scraped it. Thanks guys. Like I told the manager of this location, we will never be coming back again... even after he handed me his card and said "if there's anything i can ever do for you please don't hesitate to call me"... well that's a wash - please see above as to what you could have and should have done for me. My low tire pressure warning went off as I pulled into the Harbor Freight parking lot. I spotted Goodyear right across the street. I went in and they put air in all four tires immediately as well as explained how to check for what tire pressure was required ( it's listed inside my driver door frame- who knew??!). Wouldn't take my money, either. Excellent Customer Service! I will be coming here for my next set of tires. read more

I just paid $825 to have my front brakes done here and yes I feel like I paid $400 to much. I had my car towed in and I kind of felt like I was in a trap situation.Yes they took advantage of the situation and I have serious buyer's remorse.So please learn from my mistake think hard before going here there are lots of other places you can go. read more

I was scheduled for an alignment but ended up needing a full set of tires the same day. Stopped in early, explained my situation and They accommodated my needs replacing all 4 and was done before my appointment time. And that's on a Saturday! Great job guys and thanks!! Front service desk guy was clueless and after repeating myself twice with a simple question I opted to go next door to Monro.

The staff is friendly and did everything they could to get my Lincoln aligned asap so I could get to work on time. They even apologized for another shop's (another COMPANY) mistakes and made sure that my car would be safe to drive. I will definitely be bringing my business to them again read more

My husband and I have been going here for years and have always been so happy with their quality of service. We have done basic oil changes there, new tires, suspension and mechanical work. Floyd has always been really wonderful and same with tami. We don't live on that side of town anymore(actually that side of the country) but would still go there. read more

Low end repair shop managed by an immoral manager named Tim. My son had his car towed here because it would not start. They looked the car over and said everything looked good except the starter was bad. They couldn't figure out how to remove the starter after working on it for four days. They then suggested cutting off one of the bolts and improperly replacing the starter with only one bolt. We realized at this point we were dealing with a low end repair shop with unskilled technicians and immoral management. We decided to have the car towed to Firestone. Firestone was able to remove the starter even though Goodyear had bent and stripped the bolt badly by being too aggressive with it. Firestone also concluded that Goodyear had also not disconnected the battery while working on the starter which led to some severe electrical damage. We started a claim with the Goodyear district manager who said a claims representative would go to Firestone to assess the situation. The next day, Tim(the manager of the West Broad location) showed up to Firestone. When the Firestone staff asked him who he was he lied and said he was with the Goodyear claims department. If this doesn't qualify as a conflict of interest, then I don't know what does. Avoid this repair shop at all costs. It is run by a man who goes around town lying about being a claims representative to manipulate the claims process. We ended up towing the car to a Toyota dealer who agreed with Firestone's assessment that Goodyear didn't disconnect the battery while working on the starter which caused the electrical damage. Of course, despite two other shops agreeing that Goodyear was at fault, they denied our claim. I guess when the person being investigated in the person doing the investigation, that is what happens. read more

I hit something in the road and took it there. They fixed the problem but lead me to believe that it was because the thing I hit. I called my insurance to see if they'd cover it. The insurance called the store and Goodyear said it wasn't b/c of the thing I hit, so my insurance won't cover the damage. If I'd known this I wouldn't have contacted my insurance. It boiled down to the store telling me one thing and then telling the insurance company something totally different. If you do have to go here get EVERYTHING in writing. Also, they told me my car was repaired. I get there and it wasn't done. They said it would be done at X time, but it wasn't done that time either. read more
