I get my oil changes through OpenBay which is a third party agency of a popular Rideshare company. Last month was a struggle with the front office staff as my oil change was the first one they have done through them. The young lady who worked that day should get a raise for her patience with her team and the process of booking/paying for the oil change. To avoid the hiccups again, we agreed to call before making the appointment, get an appointment time slot and book it (through OpenBay) for the agreed upon time. Easy... no problem. This month, I called, spoke to Mike who talked over me the entire time. He interrupted me to state they don't do oil changes through Rideshare. He continued to interrupt and argue with me while I explained the ordeal last month. He finally stopped talking enough to tell me to just bring it in and they'd work me in. How Infuriating ! I knew it was going to be a problem. So I booked it a day out hoping that would give them some time to work me in to their schedule. Nope! I was wrong. Today, Mike continued to talk over me stating repeatedly that they don't do appointments. When he finally STOPPED TALKING LONG ENOUGH FOR ME TO SAY IT WAS A RIDESHARE request, he said they have a few cars in front of me and I'd have to leave it. What is the point of the appointment. He did not listen to anything I said; not this month and not last month. He repeatedly stated they don't do appointments. I said ok I can't wait all day for an oil change which is why I made the appointment so can I reschedule my oil change for another day. No...I cannot. They do appointments but they will squeeze you in after the cars they already have. Ok great. I'm not arguing with someone who lacks communication skills and problem solving skills. I started to ask if I could just reschedule for when they open when he talked over me for the last time. I said don't worry about it. I'm good. There is a variety of companies out here doing oil changes, with or without the Rideshare bonuses, for me to argue over a $100 service. I'm good. I do not recommend read more

Came in for oil change, tire rotation and balance, and the bill had a note (did not get it until after paying and signing) that one of the locking lug nuts was missing. I know it was on the car when they started working on it, because I hand washed all the tires and wheels the previous week. Considering how long the service took, I highly suspect they spent a lot of time looking for it. Never said a word to me, just left a note. Not trustworthy behavior! read more

I will admit when looking to get serviced on your vehicle there's a lot of mechanic shops around and there's a lot of people getting their cars fixed. But even when it's busy, I always suggest going to Goodyear. So about a month prior I went and had all my tires changed at a different mechanic shop and they took about five hours to get it done and I was late to work. Not to mention my back right tire. The valve stem was leaking cause it wasn't sealed properly and my tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) was telling me that my back left tire was low and it was constantly leaking air. I figured out it was my back right tire. After doing that, I went to AutoZone and bought the OEM GM PART, and then this morning I was in a time crunch, and I didn't wanna be late to work with one of my clients so I put in an appointment at 9 AM for Goodyear. No of course it is a Saturday so when I showed up they were obviously quite busy. I showed up at 8:42, and admitted my car, and gave him the part and everything. My car was pulled into the bay at 930 and understandably so, they were working on a customer who was sitting in the lobby with me. So cars in the bed at 9:30 I gotta leave Columbia at 10. My car was headed back to me at 9:58 and they didn't charge me a single penny to fix with the other mechanic shop messed up with. These guys do genuine work. These guys are awesome. They're funny, their honest people. And when I first got there and they told me they were busy he actually called the other Goodyear to see if they could give me in earlier These guys are five stars. I always recommend going to Goodyear. (I even run Goodyear tires on my Camaro) mad respect to these guys read more

Terrible experience! I told them I needed to be done in an hour because I had to be in Atlanta. After waiting an hour, I checked again and they said the machine wasn't working. They made no effort to tell me there was a problem before I inquired. I then told them I needed to leave because I was going to be late and they handed me my keys without any apology or acknowledgement of me. read more

On Sunday morning, while heading out I realized my rear passenger fire was low as a result of a nail in the tire. After being quoted over $30 and $40 at two places up the road, in addition to them wanting the vehicle all day for just the flat repair, I called Goodyear to see their pricing and availability... They were able to get it done in just over an hour and for FREE! They offer free flat repair on most vehicles and I was able to grab lunch while they took care of the repair. I will definitely look to them for other services they provide, such as tire rotation, oil changes, etc. Very pleased overall with the pricing, quickness of the repair and the customer service that was given. read more

Clean waiting area with friendly, clean-cut staff. I shopped around for tires and rims at several other chain service centers and locally owned places. The fellas at Goodyear were kind enough to find the most affordable option & their oil change was even a few dollars cheaper than most of the other service centers. I'll update with more info on the long term reliability. A few cons: it's not an "express" center, so speed isn't the top priority. Just budget your time. It needs to be noted that Kevin, one of the techs here is a complete a-hole. God forbid you be a young woman and need his help. He was incredibly demeaning and spoke down to my wife. We will never come here again as not only did they display very little skills in customer service but we're quite sure that they stripped the wheel stud, wouldn't admit it, tried to blame us instead, and then wanted to charge us for repair. I went to Goodyear yesterday to get an oil change. With my oil change it includes tire rotation due to the fact I am paying $44.89. After my oil change, the employee states they did not rotate my tires due to I need 4 brand new tires. Now why would I need 4 brand new tires, when I just bought 4 brand new tires last year which are Goodyear brand. After I told the employee that is not correct because they were all bought brand new last year. He then ask me if Goodyear put the tires on. I told him one of the tires Goodyear did put on. He looks it up and says oh yea that tire was put on in April last year, that tire is good for another 30,000 miles. What is funny to me, is I bought the other 3 tires after April of last year for the same brand tire they put on my car. So why is it only that tire is good and the others are not, when that tire is the oldest out of all 4.He then walks outside to my car to look at the tires. After he checked my tires, I then asked him if my tires needed to be rotated and he says no. At this point I'm already frustrated. He then decides to tell me to check with Wal-Mart for the warranty on my tires. I paid and left to go to Wal-Mart to check my tires. When I got to Wal-Mart, I realized Goodyear did not give me a summary of other things that needs to be looked at such as a battery check, air filter change or anything. I basically only paid $44.89 for an oil change and nothing else. I got to Wal-Mart, and Wal-Mart looked at me like I was crazy because they said there is absolutely nothing wrong with my tires and they proceeded to rotate my tires for free. I have been to this Goodyear before, but after today I will NEVER go back again. I asked for the $29.95 deal, which was a tire rotation, fluid top-off, and oil change. They were slow with getting my vehicle into the bay, but I expected that, even though I had an appointment and I was the only one in the store. So they get to working on it and Eric comes out and tells me I need an oil plug. Never heard of that before, but whatever, I let him go ahead and do it. He also tells me that I need tires. Of course I knew that already but I planned to get them changed next month at Sears as they have great credit promotions. So it comes times for me to check out and he says my total is $42--$30 for the special, $8 for the plug, and then the shop fees. But then I read the receipt and realized that they DID NOT rotate my tires as they needed to be replaced, but they never VERBALLY told me they didn't rotate my tires. I then asked Eric to credit me back the rotate fee as they did not perform the service. He said that the guy in the back should've taken off the charge, but he couldn't do it now. He told me that "This isn't Walmart. Once I run your card, I can't go back and refund it. I can give you a credit for the next time though." Say what?! You're going to punish me for something that YOU didn't do nor did you take the time to tell me that you didn't do. The services also do not show up on their card reader, so you can't tell what you're paying for--you're just going off their word until the receipt prints out. Eric was really trying to not give me my money back, but I insisted that this practice was NOT proper and I wanted it fixed before I walked out that door. Then all of a sudden, he brings someone else up who is able to refund the previous transaction and ring me up for the right amount. He didn't seem happy about doing it either, but it was able to get done. So for Eric to say "Once the card is run through, I can't refund your money", that was a flat out LIE! Therefore, this business is not honest and I will NO LONGER be patronizing it. I'll stick with Sears. At least they're honest. read more
