2/19/2025 2:50pm. Terrible! First and last time at this Goodwill. Tons of OVERPRICED, BROKEN items. As I was making a purchase I noticed one of the doors/gate on my lantern wouldn't close. I asked for a price adjustment. The cashier walked back to the manager, came back to the register only to say that once an item is priced, they can't change it. SINCE WHEN??? I love shopping at Goodwill for bargains and if something is broken, every single store that I have shopped at WILL give some sort of discount. Never again would I shop at this location for broken, overpriced, junk with terrible management practices. read more

I am kind of with the others who give this location a less than 4 star review. Prices are the highest I have seen, in the West Valley. Women's dresses started at $9.99. Some new items were more than the clearance sticker from the original store. Quite a few items were more expensive than they generally would be at other stores. Higher priced items were not necessarily better quality or premium brands. Cashier was efficient, polite and pleasant. I noticed that she made a point to say something positive about at least one thing in each person's order. There were employees walking around and replacing products that were on the floor/fallen. Came to this location on 8/27/2023 Huge store, great selection. I had an entire cart full of clothes I was interested in, asked an associate for a fitting room but they weren't allowing customers to use them. I advised that it's unfair to expect customers to buy clothing items since they don't have a refund policy, just an exchange. Associate just said sorry and walked away. She also said I can just try everything in over what I'm wearing, I advised I have shorts/pants and I would feel uncomfortable doing that in an open store? Very unprofessional and if the fitting rooms are closed, I understand. But then they should allow refunds for items that didn't fit, not just an in store credit. Especially when we are already over paying for FREE items that have been donated by kind people. read more

I've gone multiple times and found so many good pieces here! The employees have been nice to me all times but the prices are quite high

The prices have gotten pretty crazy, even for "new with tags" (more than what a Ross or TJ Maxx would charge). And filed under "apparently the customer ISN'T always right"...I asked the cashier if she could match the lowest marked price of identical items: drinking glasses (1 was $2.49 & the other 2 were $3.49) & decorative pillows (1 was $3.49 & the other $14.49). Not only did a manager say no, she argued with me...said that the pillows were marked incorrectly & neither should be sold for $3.49. So a pricing error is MY problem?! I argued until she finally let me have the pillow for its marked price (stood her ground on the other IDENTICAL pillow). And one of the glasses, she said, was "a little smaller than the others". Might make sense if THAT was the one marked lower, but nope, it was $3.49 (& they were all IDENTICAL in size & every other way). I was initially very pleasant, but progressively got more irritable, so my guess is she just needed to "assert her power". read more

It's an okay location. Many of the items are scattered around and it doesn't make sense. Therefore if you have the time and patience, you'll find some good items! The staff is friendly and there's plenty of parking. Also wish they could show a little more attention to their bathrooms. They were so dirty we didn't dear use them. read more

Came to this location. Hard to find help in furniture section. Once we got help, our items were marked as sold, we watched them mark it. We shop around more and then We go to register, pay, pull to the back to pick up the item and see our item being loaded into the back of a Lexus. The guy who sold us the item is loading it, we tell them hey, we purchased that. The lady in the Lexus hurries up, puts it in her car while the worker says let me get my manager because he knew he sold it to us. The lady refused to show her receipt. The lady takes off and says she's going to go up front with our furniture loaded in the car. The manager comes out and says oh, I'm the one who sold it to her, but after it was sold to us. The manager knew the lady, knew her by her first name. The manager Said unfortunately I can't help you. I'll refund your money, I talked to the other customer but she's adamant on keeping it. The manager, a female with huge gauged ears, knew the customer, and sold it to her despite it being ours first. Customer service was bad...and the principle is the issue...I'll survive without the item. I'm just very disappointed the right thing wasn't done. Hope the lady in the Lexus is happy with herself as well as the manager. I'm sure the Lexus owner bribed the manager after watching us purchase the item. That lady was lurking as we were picking out the item. Get a better system. Have one person working the furniture section, remove items from the floor once they're sold instead of leaving them out so someone else can claim they've purchased. Do the right thing. read more

I've been here several times and have stopped going due to the constant issue of their teenage staff restocking while people are shopping. It's obnoxious. You can't hardly look at things without being shuffled around by a million people throwing things on the shelf. The furniture section is too cluttered and you can't see half of what they have because it's a mess. How in the world are their fitting rooms still closed??? Goodwill is such a piece of garbage company - they literally want to charge $14.99-$24.99 for USED jeans but they can't do you the courtesy of opening the fitting rooms? I think they need to remember who they are as a company. This isn't a consignment shop with fine goods / it's goodwill. It should be thrifty. They also consistently ask for donations after you've overpaid for used goods and EVERYTHING in that store is donated and they are selling for a profit. Lay off the during the day restocking it makes shopping in your store miserable. read more

Some items are over priced but overall the place was clean. It was well organized. I came looking for fabric and loved how it had its own section. The bedding section was really neat, twin, full, queen, etc were all neatly separated. No need for guessing. Would come back. read more

I have not been excited about this location these last months. there is a lot of warm clothes that have stains on them or tears in them or they are shrunk. I think they're rushing to put things out. A lot of it should be tossed. I don't even know why someone would donate it I would be embarrassed. The prices have gone up too much. I've noticed many things that came from the dollar store. Some stuff was priced HIGHER than what it sells for BRAND NEW at Ikea, Target, or Wal-Mart!!! I don't know if it's because it is an anchor store in a newer strip mall, but when did THRIFT STORES start charging MORE than antique malls or charge higher prices than Wal-Mart? This store has a pretty good selection and is clean. I prefer 50% off Saturdays for the best deals. If you go to the Goodwill website and provide your email address, the will send you a 20% off coupon each month. I have been to a few Goodwills and my favorite is the one Awahtukee. But this one i think has out beat the Awahtukee location. Pros: more top brand cloths and in good condition. There was more of a variety to chose from and it seemed more organized. The racks were not over filled so it made it easier to look through them. The store is very clean. Con: you have to hunt down the staff to unlock the fitting room doors. read more

Very Disappointed first we have to waite in line for li 20 min for 5 items we were ok just whatever it was fine. We get done purchasing our items than we look at the receipt and they charged us twice for a item. Nice and clean store. Which is very important to me. Staff is great. I like the convenient drop off located in the back the doors open automatically and a employee will come out promptly to take your donations. Color coded $1 Thursdays are great but you have to get there before it opens there is a line of people already to go! I've seen people with carts piled high of items on these days, lol. read more

Nice clean new Goodwill just opened in Goodyear on McDowell and Pebble Creek parkway. The lines went smooth. They are always stocking. I noticed that there were a lot of employees keeping stuff neat and organized. Hopefully this continues. read more

Hello!!!!! Has Goodwill lost their mind with their pricing?!?! What in the actual heck?!? I thought Goodwill was supposed to be a bargain hunters paradise?!? Women's shirts are $6/shirt minimum, kids clothes $5/piece....I can get these prices at Wally any day and certainly on Targets clearance rack for new stuff! This stuff was donated, donated to help people find affordable clothes for the family! These people are awfully proud of their merchandise that was given to them out of the kindness of strangers hearts! Kids clothes used to be $2.22/item, women's shits were like $2.97, this is insanity! Yes I'll give it to them, the shelves were fully stocked, Infact overflowing.....know why?$?? Because people weren't purchasing bag or cart loads they were buying onesies and twosies because Goodwill has gone nutso with their pricing! Value is no longer there! I recently bought 3 board games from this store. They were taped shut so I just asked the cashier if I could open them to make sure all of the pieces were included. She assured me that they check all of the games before selling them. Shame on me for trusting her! I live 3 hours away, so when I found out they were all missing so many pieces that they aren't even playable, I called the manager. Made my last trip to Goodwill today. I took a number of office equipment items that WERE in great working order...software, manuals, cords, etc. all included. The young man who unloaded literally threw everything into a bin about 6' away, breaking and totally trashing every piece I took up there. I also took a very nice flower arrangement, which he threw in the bottom of a bin and piled a heavy box of books on top. So much for trying my best to get things up there in good shape.
