Definitely like this location better than the Phoenix one as I felt like the inventory was a bit better and there were less empty booths. The people working were also friendly and helpful. Found many great things and there is actually an elevator to go from the downstairs to the small upstairs area. They very carefully wrapped all of my Royal Haeger finds, put them into boxes, and helped me load and take a cat out to my car. Great service and I look forward to returning again! read more

Never believe me when I say I'm just going to Brass Armadillo for a "little bit" or "just to look"... I am always going to leave with a bag full of treasures! This specific location is an absolute hit every single time I come. I can easily spend 3+ hours here, I definitely have spent over 6! Might just be me though hahaha, I tend to get lost in fun trinkets and antique items. There are rows upon rows of interesting things, I especially get caught up in the glass cases near the front because vintage jewelry is my weakness. I left today with a fabulous sterling silver ring that was the perfect size. The furniture is honestly so well priced too, if you are lucky enough to pick up a cool piece before someone else does! What an absolute gem of a place. I will always make the drive out if I'm in need of sprucing up my closet or living space! read more

If you love thrifting or window shopping this is the place for you. It's an eclectic, museum-like antique mall with SO many options and items for everyone. From kids to adults, it's got everything. I only spent an hour here but could have spent 2-3 just looking. It was a little busy on a Saturday but the employees were friendly and answered all my questions kindly. The line is easy to follow and the only downside is some spaces are a little tight, so it's not really for young kids. Not overpriced like so many antique stores are. I found a beautiful wood pedestal for $28, a James Taylor record for $15, and I saw a gorgeous painting that was only $30 but didn't get it. Will definitely visit again! read more

It's was super fun to visit Armadillo Antiques. Insanely humongous! Super well organized. Anything you might be in search of, definitely give them a chance because chances are pretty good you may just find that hard to find item you are searching for. Rows and rows of vendors with unique items and finds ranging from standard antique finds like comic books/vinyl records to stuff like home decor/dishes. Some of the items are in glass cabinets and require an associate to unlock it for you to get the desired item out. Other items are just on shelves. You take your items to the front counter to pay. They offer a loyalty system with your phone number where you can earn points. There is a downstairs and upstairs to view. Aisles are narrow. They offer shopping carts for you to use. This spot has housed several big box type stores in the past, including a Sears Appliance Center. So, when I say it's big for an antiques store, I mean it's HUUGE! Individual resellers lease space to sell whatever--whatever they can, apparently, because most spots have all manner of goods. Some seem to focus on a category like books, home decor, Christmas decor, kids clothing, vinyl LPs, etc. Kitchen goods seem to be a popular segment. There are also rows of locked glass cases with random small items. There are hundreds of vendors here. It would likely be a bear to manage, but some type of directory to help customers find specific categories would be helpful. read more

A nice indoor activity to do in the Phoenix area. This place is huge and you could spend hours here and still probably not see every thing. Each display is individually owned and some are more organized and appealing than others. This also goes for pricing. Some of the prices were ridiculously high (looking at the booth trying to sell a used-non vintage jigsaw puzzle for $15) while others were reasonable or even low. There is something for everyone in this place. It's also a fantastic way to take a walk down memory lane even if you don't want to buy anything. I realized we had many of these antiques in my house growing up and it allowed me to reminisce on my childhood. read more

Brass Armadillo Antique Mall is a collection of antique sellers. Some items are behind locked display cases, while others are their own cubicles. Make sure to allow plenty of time to walk around. There are literally thousands of items. Some sellers have a hodgepodge of goods, while others specialize in specific things. There is even an upstairs area. Stairs are at one side, and an elevator is at the other. Brass Armadillo has a real treasure hunt feel. Press for service buttons are located in the aisles with located cabinets. An associate will come to you, and help you with the items in the case. Items are held being the registers until ready to checkout. My daughter purchased some items from one of the cases. The person who helped her was kind. My daughter was not hurried while looking through the items. Brass Armadillo Antique Mall has their own rewards program. Points are earned for every dollar spent. As a rewards member, I have received emails about sales, as well as double point days. Parking is shared with the rest of the center. There has been plenty of parking both times I visited. read more

Massive antique mall. So many vendors and each different. There's furniture, jewelry, coins, tools, everything under the sun and from all of the different decades. Mary was so helpful and helped orient me on how the Brass Armadillo Antique malls work (there's 6 locations in the US, 2 in Phoenix). It's a place you want to come at opening and take your time browsing. Maybe bring a coffee. There are restrooms, plenty of parking, and they provide a map. I like that each aisle has a name and that each vendor has a number, it keeps it organized. Trust me when I say the time will fly. I have spent hours here and that was just on their 1st floor, they even have a 2nd floor! So far I found an onyx opal horse ring with the galaxy on it - so neat! Also found a genuine black leather Cordovan hat at an incredible price. And found a black fitted skirt too (was less than Goodwill). read more

We're still cautiously venturing out and visiting this store. While I absolutely love looking at everything and I mean EVERYTHING, we only come in very late in the evening so that we practically have the place to ourselves during the COVID-19 precautions. You'll find plenty of eye candy, knickknacks, treasures, oddities and the occasional vendor restocking their spaces and a handful, literally, of shoppers coming in towards the end of day for BAAM. The only caution I have is several of the older employees tend to have removed their masks the last 2 hrs of the day. And some of the customers do the same. Not sure why. If you're being cautious, be warned. My other half sees this and turns way, way opposite direction. read more

Double points day today and another fun shopping trip. You never know what treasure you'll find here as the booths are always changing and being added to. I love to shop for holiday decor here as well as vinyls, and at times furniture. There are so many vintage finds here. The amount of sweet memories it brings beck from when I was a kid I love. Seeing pieces of your life history is fun. From toys to things I remember in my grandmas house. I definitely have a few favorite booths that I frequent. I know before I walk in that I'm sure I'll find one thing I love from at least two of them. Today was no different. I scored a cookie jar and a few other things. My sis even found a few new treasures. Only problem now is leaving the jar empty a few days so the kids think it's not filled with cookies then strategically add them when they think I'm going to leave it empty ha ha. It's the secret to having them last more than a day. You'll thank me later. read more

Nice place to walk around if you have time to kill but the antiques are few and far between. I lot of new stuff and newer vintage. One thing I really like about them is that they have a lot of people around to open cases for you. You won't have to wait very long most days to check something out. Huge plus!!! Of the 2 Brass Armadillos in the Phoenix area I like this one the best. I've bought so many things here since moving to AZ. I've discovered jadeite milk bowls, and miniature oil paintings. I didn't even know I would become obsessed over things like this, as I have. I was looking at first for all the sizes of different milk bowls, when my mom found the green jadeite one. Currently, going often, to see if any more show up. Last month I found a miniature wine and cheese oil painting and now I'm overly obsessed with finding more mini oils. On Labor Day weekend I did find some more! See pics. What I like- the one in the west valley is fairly organized and much bigger than the other one in Phoenix. My mom likes the one in Phoenix better ( it has more China and crystal there, which are her favorites). But this one has great vendors who you can tell which ones have themes or motifs of what they like to sell. Which I love. Tips- Sign up for their rewards, and give them your number. Ask them to add your purchases to your account. Every time you buy you can earn points to save a few bucks every now and then. You can also negotiate prices for anything over 25$. They call the vendor and the vendor can accept or counter or deny your offer. (Usually they take it). They have sales! In June they had a sale off of everything except the glass cabinet section.Then they had a sale for only the items in the glass cabinets. This Labor Day weekend everything was 15% off. My cell service doesn't really work inside so I wasn't able to check the prices online, but it turns out that each can be purchased for like $15 each from online thrift stores. And they have a no return no refund policy, so yeah... I got took. Ah well. read more

To those daring enough, this is an exciting place to lose yourself in for a few hours. There's an unbelievable amount of stuff in here, I'm sure anyone could find something they like if they search well enough. Items range from vintage furniture, clothing, pop culture collectibles, art, books, and anything in between. It feels like an overstimulating historic exhibition, except you can take items home. Some items are displayed inside glass cases, but it's pretty easy to find a staff member to unlock them for you. I'm writing two reviews in one. One is for the store itself, of which I'll give the store 4.5 stars. There are some real hidden gems here and most of the booths are at least have interesting stuff. My other review is for Denise, who runs their Offerup page. For Denise, I give you 0 stars. Denise seems to fail to understand that she should highlight different vendors, and lots of them. Instead, she seems to think the only thing that one would want to come into this store for is political merchandise. I've been to the Brass Armadillo many times, and there are like two booths of this stuff. Sure, fine, sell it if you can, but what about the other 100+ vendors that pay monthly rent? Why are they being ignored so Denise can push some kind of political agenda. It's just weird and off putting and if I were paying rent here, I'd be pretty agitated frankly. read more

What a fun place to visit! From starters they welcome you and give you a map, a pencil and, directions as to how to best enjoy your visit. Then you start going down the different aisles and enjoy (in mi case) remembering all kinds of stuff you grew up with. Things you saw at grandma's house or at your parents'. Tin us from wat back when such as rotary phones, typewriters, sawing machines, odd color Tupperware and fiesta dishes! It's my wife's favorite antique store! She always finds good treasures! Lots of booths. There is something for everyone.

The older staff members seem to be very disgruntled and unapproachable. I got scolded by an older female employee for pressing 2 help buttons in the same aisle. I pressed it because I thought the first one I pressed was broken. When she came over to me she pretty much screamed at me to never do that again. She said that I have to be understanding of their system especially when they are busy. I said sorry but she kept yelling at me. I wouldn't even talk to a misbehaving child the way this employee belittled me. I should have walked out, but I composed myself and laughed it off. Once I was done getting bullied by the employee I managed to find some cool baseball cards at a great price. read more

Whoa! This place is the bigger I've seen across the country and even shopping internationally. There is so much to see you may want to bring some friends and take a lunch break. If you see something you like make a note or you may not find it again. Each booth was clean and unique. I found a vintage crock, some Christmas decor and books. I didn't have time to stay too long but I'd recommend a few hours if you are planning a trip. They are sure to have what you are looking for. Friendly and helpful staff. Super awesome antique store with so many different items :) its always fun to come in and look around for an hour or two. Everybody there is very welcoming and respectful, most of the prices are very fair but my only complaint is that the pokemon cards are very overpriced but thats common for most places anyway. Overall a great store though :) read more
