Prices were reasonable and there as even a clearance room of marked down items. The store is well organized and super neat. The changing rooms rival those of an upscale department store. The parking lot is shared with the other stores in the strip mall. There is plenty of parking with accessible spaces available. Worth a visit if you are looking for a bargain or want to consign some clothes.

It's probably been 8 months or so since I was in last. I went in looking for a good pair of used blue jeans. Wow, I was shocked by the prices. One pair I found was $35 for a pair of used blue jeans. I think I found one pair for under $20. I am sorry, but I am not ok spending that much on used blue jeans. So I passed. I did look in active wear, the prices were a bit better, but not by much. I get that the store is trying to make money. For me, if I am going to pay that much. I will just spring for the new version. $20-$35 dollars for used blue jeans is ridiculous. Like I said, I wanted to support local. At this point I am looking at other options. Online, picking through goodwill, or waiting a bit and saving for brand new. As far as service goes. While their prices are fairly steep, the items are in good condition and you don't need to sort through as many 'older' items to find your desired 'treasures'. Like Plato's, you can bring in clothes to resale. Again, employees are picky about what they buy and what they offer, as that is part of the job. Don't come in expecting to be rich, but maybe think of it more as making something rather than nothing. In my experience, one employee was very friendly while one was standoffish, but like any business, employees come with their own personalities. I'd never been in this location and was impressed with how clean and orderly it was. The layout was a little different from what I've come to expect from most other Goodwill locations, but the store felt large. I always visit the books first and I wasn't too impressed with their offerings. Not to mention how expensive they all are. They did, however, have a very large collections of vinyl records. There were a few items of interest, for me, in housewares. But again, the pricing really seemed rather high for secondhand items. During check-out, the associate helping us could barely complete the transaction for being in the middle of the conversation that Angel and another associate were having. He (Veon) wasn't rude, but I was left standing and staring while waiting for him to proceed with my transaction.

Had a 5+ star experience with Diane at A Fitting Creation…read more I needed a repair made to a dress that I stepped on and caused a tear in the skirt. I made an appointment drop off and web made our way to A Fitting Creation. It's not located far from US 40. Diane has her own building adjacent to her home. It's clean and comfortable. It was a snowy/icy morning and Diane's husband made sure that a path was cleared and that I got inside safely. Drop off was easy. Diane discussed our options, depending upon how things worked out when she dug into the repair. I don't wasn't in a hurry to get the dress back at all. She called a few weeks later and the dress was complete. She had me try it on so that I could be sure everything was as it should be. The dress was great. I couldn't even tell where the repair had been made. Her fee was beyond reasonable. She offers a number of great services, including a mail in service if you just need something like a zipper or other repair that doesn't affect fit. She also has a day-of bridal service where she's with the entire bridal party to ensure there are no issues with fit or presentation. I highly recommend Diane and will look to her in the future. She's a kind and engaging woman, on top of being a talented seamstress.

In fact, it appears this store is overwhelmed by donations and has run out of room long ago. I even found three bundles of asphalt roofing shingles.
