Not well organized or well kept. Clothes are in giant bins with literally anything. Most items are very dirty. Went on a Sunday and it was super crowded. Literally didn't find anything worth buying and I was there over an hour. The clothes there are very old and dirty and smell. The furniture is cheap and old and broken. If you guys haven't noticed I've been obsessed with thrifting ever since I started following these instagramers who do thrifting for a living. I did not know Goodwill Outlets even existed. The difference between Goodwill Outlets and a regular Goodwill store is that at the outlet everything is in huge blue bins and they charge by the pound. At this location it's $1.49/lb of clothing! Most clothing items don't even weigh 1 pound yet! I scored on a Victoria's Secret Backpack and a brand new Victoria's Secret Bra here (Not to wear for myself but I'm listing it on Poshmark LOL). In total I bought $19 worth of stuff and it was over 21 items! It's super duper packed here on Saturdays because a lot of people resell items for ebay or whatever so come here early on a weekday to get first dibs. They change the bins every few minutes and people gather around it like they just spotted a celebrity LOL it gets defensive! read more

Love this place. It's a true treasure hunt if you can just get over sifting through the piles of odds and ends to find the good stuff. Staff is friendly and gives you a good price for heavy, oversized items. Treasures galore! You have to like to dig. I suggest bringing gloves as some of the stuff can be a little dirty. Shopping carts & bathrooms. I could literally stay all day here as they bring out new 'bins' all day long. When a new bin is brought out..watch out! This place is not for everyone. I primarily come here and leave within 5 minutes. I usually come here to look at furniture because they do have some nice things sometimes. It's a hit or miss but that's a given with any thrift store, you just have to keep trying. I have picked up a few cute furniture pieces but as far as the bins, I stay away from it because of covid and I just want to get out of there as soon as possible. This store brings out some of the very worst traits of humanity, people behave like they are PIGS at a feeding troff . The whole time the upper management is complacent if not all together supportive of this feeding frenzy behavior. For several years now I have been trying to convince the upper management of goodwill industries to change the outlet stores FEEDING FRENZY behavior. Several years back during a visit to the outlet stores I was waiting my turn to look thru stuff , standing on the outside of the immediate area where the frenzy was, rather than participating in the pushing and shoving frenzy to look at the "NEW" cart full of items being rolled out. I had been in the store many times prior and knew to stay clear as people were pushing and shoving to get a good look at the stuff, well as I am standing out of the area an very eager person yanked on a ski that had been wrapped up in cords and wires and all at once it broke free and hit me directly in the head and broke my head open, I was not even looking in the general direction at the time and blood immedately began flowing everywhere, I took myself into the bathroom with blood running down my arm. The local store manager was great about it and helped me get the bleeding stopped. When I contacted the local upper management they really didn't seem to care or take notice that I was INJURED in their store, they just tried to get me to go away. I made suggestions that they have a number system for "NEW" carts as they are pulled out to a holding area and each number gets a brief moment to look thru it before moving to the next number and so on, to prevent many items from being broken , eliminating broken glass and other items from getting broken during the feeding frenzy times, many many items are broken and left in the carts, including glass and sharp items. I've never threatned to sue them for millions of dollars or anything, have HOPED they would be respectful and responsible enough DECENT human beings enough to PREVENT this sort of INJURY to others but it has fallen upon deaf ears to human decency. If you have self respect and honor for yourself I would NOT suggest visiting this store for any reason until they change their feeding frenzy behavior. To short thru the rejected items of someone else's donated items and trash of the goodwill simply is not worth this kind of injury and human deprivation, DO NOT GO HERE until they change. read more

So the good: there is always a find! I have never left empty handed. It is fun to go here because it's like a treasure hunt. And cheap cheap cheap! The bad: the security needs to kick back a little. They are so serious about line staging and carts. Once I sat down in a recliner and security told me if I am not buying it they "can't have people sitting in the chairs." Come on... there was no one in that room. Chill! Then the other thing. There are some people that shop there clearly to resale and they are SERIOUS! When a new bin comes out they assume this formation and attack them vigorously. They also hog up carts around the perimeter stuffed with piles of finds. My recommendation, stay out of their way. What can I say.... a three in one goodwill. It's got a donation center, a retail store, and a pay by the pound center. So what ever your taste for shopping goodwill they have it at their new location on industrial ave. It's clean and the price is right at $1.59 a pound. Beautiful goodwill. It's clean, organized, and spacious. Definitely an upgrade from the one on West Capital. A lot of clothing, especially for women. Shoes, baskets, kitchen items, wall art, household items, jewelry, children's toys, and limited furniture. If you need it, it's probably there. OK, so this place is pretty good. But the real Highland be here with the watch those people lineup and then dig through the bins maybe if I was going to break out that's the excitement! I found a lot of jackets here and you know what they're pretty good. I like Jackets. The prices are so amazing because it's like a dollar or whatever a pound. How in the @#*% did a broke person and thrift shopper like me NOT discover "the bins" earlier?? If you're wondering what's cheaper and/or dingier than a Goodwill store: the Goodwill outlet store. Now to get the standard complaints out of the way: it's packed, it can be uncomfortably warm, people may bump into you repeatedly while scrounging through those large bins, and it's not in a glamorous area of town. Now that you know, you can walk in prepared. Bring large reusable bags to stash your finds in, dress in layers so you can take some off if it gets hot (seriously, we went on a rainy 40 degree day and I stripped down to a cami top), and enter into the building like you're walking into a Black Friday sale. Or the Victoria's Secret annual panty sale... same amount of potential crowd craziness. Read: this shopping experience is not for the timid. Having said all that, there's lot of great clothing, home goods/decor, electronics and furniture to be found in the bins. I found some AMAZING clothes: a kimono, a bridesmaid dress, some cute going-out tops, a Chewbacca hoodie, even a vintage dressing gown. I realize this is "throwaway" stuff from the normal Goodwill stores but everything I found was in great condition- no rips or stains on anything I bought. Plus as it's sold by the pound, I walked away with two overstuffed large tote bags full of clothes for about $15. SCORE!! read more

They produce hard motivated workers the warehouse management take pride in there work and they also show good leadership and they show you the skills and help you move up in the company or even in life they are very smart intelligent management and staff secretary ‍ is a wonderful spirit and a great employee!!! I can't ever say enough about how much I love shopping at this Goodwill Outlet store. I mean sure, it can get crowded. And yes, other customers can be kinda rude at times. It's also true that you're more than likely to encounter something mildly unpleasant while rummaging. I never find anything really good here but that's a matter of personal opinion. Do not go in this heat. The building felt like a slow cooker. The employees are nice enough and stay out of the way on the floor. A new discovery in thrift store shopping. Per pound. Yep, per pound is the rate of exchange within this Goodwill Outlet storefront. $1.49 a pound to be more precise and to my surprise the weighing and payment portions of this experience were astonishingly streamlined, organized and fast. This is a rambling long review but it's my review so forewarned is forearmed. I'll get to the shopping segment of this experience in a moment... I immediately identified myself as I cautiously approached the register area to check out with my cart piled so high I lost the ability to see over it, as being a rookie to this shop. To this I was immediately smiled at by the gentleman who appeared to be a security guard and directed to the sole female manning the cash register. She was super friendly as well and explained what I was to do: Take out all my spoils and load/stuff them into the large blue tub seated on-top of the counter-top scale. Separate the bedding comforters from the bulk rate items as the super sized comforters sell for a flat rate of $5.99 each. Payment methods: Cash, credit and ATM accepted here. Idk about EBT. Now onto the layout of this Outlet store. There are no shelves. There are no organized racks of hanging clothing. There are waist high plastic dumpster sized bins which line the length of the store and allow for walkways inbetween the isles. I have to say outloud now that when I first stepped inside the store and saw the layout I immediately thought: Oh dear God, what in the hell is this?!! I'm not digging thru bins of crap! And then it happened; I grabbed a cart and zoned out focusing solely on the bins in front of me, shut off my ever talkative mind chatter and began to actually enjoy myself. I shut out the screaming kids who were expressing their dissatisfaction with their boredom(2 to be precise) and actually enjoyed the experience. I know right? It was f*ng awesome! Here's what I scored: 2 King Sized Wamsutta brand heavy duty, Damask stripped, Egyptian Cotton, downfilled-like comforters/duvets in pure crispy white. Complete with their crispy clean stain AND odor free snap closure duvet covers in perfect condition. Score!!! $5.99 each! I'm still in shock. Several thick 100% cotton oversized crispy white bath towels in perfect condition. A Like-new uber thick Hurley brand black zippered hoodie with a gorgeous plaid pink print lining the hood and interior. A Victoria Secret floor length spaghetti strap 100% cotton nightgown in the softest grey; perfectly new condition. Jeans, a few tops, brand new Aēropostale hipster sweat pants and a gorgeous hand crocheted/knitted delicate shoulder wrap in soothing earthy tones for those outings where a gal needs a lil buffer for her shoulders as the air cools... Bring your own bags for transport of your goods back your auto or simply wheel your shopping cart out to your ride and throw it all in. Next time I'm in this area for a Land Park doctors appointment like today, I will be back in as parking is spacious as well. read more

I've been coming to this location since before they did it by the pound and I still love it. I fully agree with AL. If you're a gal, wear pants and a t-shirt if you don't want creepy dudes all up in your business (they still might be anyway). Also, come here when you can be focused only on sifting through things. Ignore all of the crying unattended children,40+ year old men fighting each other for broken radios and attacking the bin of items as soon as it comes through the door. It seems like at least half of their clientele is there for resale purposes (flea markets, antique stores, etc) so things can get a bit wacky and competitive. So, I've probably made this place sound terrible. Well, the truth is all of that is worth it for me when I leave with a basket full of awesome treasures for 20 bucks. Items are sold by the pound and that is really unbeatable. If you can hang, come join us! read more

First, I love thrift stores. I think their use is remarkably more responsible than purchasing new in many cases. That said, I'll never set foot in this place again. I had a few members of my family with me when I went, and we've since deemed it the 'Apocalypse Thrift Store'. I advised my mother to take a good look around. She's an accomplished writer, and this store soundly qualifies as the setting for any iteration of 'the end of the world' story. Picture in your mind, the demise of everything. The world as you know it has come to an end. What's left of common everyday wares is mixed with trash and sold in huge bins - most of it by the pound. Picture a vast space filled with such bins, each filled to the brim with discarded rugs, old coffee makers, antique cell phones, miscellaneous clothing, and disassembled widgets of every kind. Add to this a gaggle of vagrants, all rummaging through these bins, none of them saying a single word. They may not be speaking because they don't know each other, or perhaps they realized long ago that attempting to communicate over the sound of nearby industrial machinery is impossible. This machinery can be seen through a wide set of swinging doors toward the back. These open up into a vast warehouse, where the machines are seen pushing around impossibly huge piles of everything. Goodwill calls this their 'Outlet Store', but you won't find any denim-clad yuppies here. Most people would walk through it's unassuming front doors expecting to see a sales floor like any other Goodwill. Most people, when met with what's actually there, would turn tail and run. We were bold. We walked through the aisles of bins, eying from a distance the wares within. It was little more than dumpster diving on a grand scale, and it was unfortunate to see. I couldn't help but think that many of the area's vagrants congregate here to find items they can sell for a profit. I also suspect that, given the temperature outside, many were simply trying to escape the oppressive, and relentless heat of the day. In summary, I'm confident that great things could potentially be found at this particular Goodwill location. It's like having access to the back room of a thrift store. I was bold enough to walk through the place, but I can't say I'd be willing to take much of what's there home. Not without seriously considering the effort involved in cleaning it up. I'll never forget this experience. There's something to be said for that - but as far as thrift stores go, this one is well off my list - permanently. read more

1.39 bucks for a lb of clothes sounds like a steal right .. yea not really ..if you have to work super hard just to find a shirt or pant that are actually wearable .. When I first walked into this place, I thought holly molly this is a freaking battle field .. In some corners of the store, I saw ton of people were fighting .. digging crazily through bins after bins of dirty clothes .. and in some of these bins, they even have used underwear laying around ugh .. not sanitized at all .. I was afraid that I would catch some skin disease after touching the stuff in here :( .. but in the end, my effort paid off. After 2 hours of wrestling with other ladies in the store, I managed to scored some pastel skinny jeans and vintage shirts and tons of other treasures for ONLY 11 bucks .. yup, 2 bag fulls of clothes and jeans for 11 bucks .. Overall, this place has some great stuff .. some of the clothes that I found are in trend and i paid less than 11 cent for a pair of jean .. I can't complain .. but of course, finding good stuff at this place takes an enormous amount of effort, time and tolerance for dirtiness and the smell .. read more

Damn, this place is hardcore. Come prepared to sift through mountains of bins--and watch out when they roll out a new bin (typically the size of a compact car) because then it's every man, woman and child for him or herself. Also, don't be offended if some crazy old Russian lady places a curse on you. I'm pretty sure she does that to all the young whippersnappers who get in her way. You're buying by the pound so there are some seriously good deals to be had--you just have to come prepared to work--I scored two giant bags of stuff for just $14 (and that included a really heavy fur vest). This place is down and dirty.... with an emphasis on dirty. They sell by the pound and you can expect to rummage through huge bins of all the misc. pieces cast off from other Goodwill locations. And some of those pieces clearly weren't washed before they were donated. There is also an unusually large assortment of used very large bras in those bins. Recommendation 1 - wear gloves. That's what we did and we certainly weren't the only ones. Recommendation 2 - (for females) - cover up any exposed skin on your body because I assure you, many, many men will be watching you as you rummage through those bins and make your way around the store. Yes, it does sound terrible. The truth is it's a treasure trove for those willing to rummage. We were on a mission and walked away with an entire trash bag of leather, sheets, misc. clothing items, a naked Barbie that someone in our group just had to have and so much other stuff for about $7. Most of these were to be re-used in various formats. I also found a super cool vintage turquoise cruiser in good condition that I had to have but a very strong gentlemen would not release the handle and I was a bit scared to argue with him due to the glazed over look in his eyes. I don't mean to joke about the client base. The store was mostly filled with normal folks shopping for one reason or another. As is often the case, it is the few random characters standing around the perimeter of the building staring intently that seem to draw all of the attention. The cashiers were really quick, efficient and did a good job handling long lines of very full shopping carts. This store is great for people who need to buy bulk leather, wool or funky clothing for the theatre. And they had a huge supply of suitcases, duffel bags, briefcases, purses, etc. Weekends are super crowded and it is burning hot in that building. read more

Ok for all the people writing bad reviews of this place, maybe pay by the pound thrift isn't for you. There's a reason it's $1.49 per #. If you want neatly organized and hung up on racks it's going to cost more so accept it for what it is. That being said, I go from time to time; you do have to go in with your game face on otherwise you could very well take an elbow to the rib by the aggressive middle aged women who shop there, but I've never had an issue. After spending about 45-60 min digging and ALWAYS spending well under $20, I emerge with 4-5 bags brimming with goodies, including shoes, clothes, purses, fabric, etc. I'll keep digging through the bins, and the fussy frans who can't handle it can go to the yuppie-ish thrift stores. Telling friends I was going to the bins was like telling friends I was being sent to an internment camp - the bins seemed like a desolate, dirty, crowded and scary place without humanity. "Wear gloves," advised my brother. I'm happy to report it wasn't quite the funkfest I'd anticipated. It was bad in the not glamorous way - angry babies, poorly worn booty shorts, grim undercurrents - but also a lot of fun. Highlights! * Cheap dressers, bed frames and furniture - under 20.00 (There were some decent looking chairs and couches...that smelled like cat pee.) * Beautiful Saris - sari's don't sell at Goodwill. So they come to the bins! You've got to dig, but you can find some lovely fabrics. * Glassware - if you paint glass or your college aged cousin needs to buy cheap wine glasses, tumblers or jelly jars, glassware is 1.49 per pound. The glasses are mismatched, but easy to sterilize. * The staff - It can't be always sunshine and smiles at work, but the staff handling the checkout line were very nice with great senses of humor. *If you don't find any oddball treasures, there's a regular goodwill a few blocks down. read more

They sell the clothing by the pound, but you have to dig (literally) through dirty smelling unorganized bins.. there is also an "electronic" section of broken out of date items, if that's your thing.. there is a book section with cheap books as far as the eye can see. And the beat part is the furniture room! A MUST if you are going for the unmatched decor to spruce up your place! (all jokes aside, I did find a very cheap coffee table) It's all about coming on the right day at the right time. (unless you have lots of time to kill).. I've had good luck finding brand name clothes in excellent condition. However, today was my first and last time coming here when they have their 50% off sale. It was packed like a Black Friday Event. You do not really save that much unless you buy a boatload of stuff. I usually spend around $4 to $10 per visit and get quite of bit of stuff. So I would only be saving $ 2 to $ 5 dollars. It ain't worth the frenzy. There was a higher level of tension because it was so crowded and some people were more aggressive than normal.It would not surprise me if some people would get violent. This site has had security guards on site but not today of all days. I saw a clerk warn a customer to be less impatient and wait when the bins full of clothes comes rolling out. After you gather up your pickings, you have to wait in a gawd awful longer than normal checkout line. Just go on a normal business day. It's still plenty cheap and a better experience. KUDOS for the newly repaved parking lot. Now can you work on providing more shopping carts, please ? read more

First impression: OMG! Stinky ass garbage diggin scavengers! Rows of what nots in each bin. Scary sight at first... Well, after a few moments browsing around without my hands..found a hello kitty musical box! Clean and perfect, grabbed it and suddenly happy to look around some more. I digged thru the books and got 3.. New and for a quarter, 50 cents 4 hardcovers..wow. Then my boo found me a hello kitty shower radio only thing missing was the battery cover. My total for 5 items was a lil over 2bux! They charge by the weight of stuff, $1 something for a .lb? Not sure, but dang if ure lucky and find good stuff u like then its a must to stop by here once in a while. I was skeptical when I first arrived in the parking lot, didn't even go inside!
