I have to say that this is probably the nicest Goodwill location I have been to.

Stopped in here on my way up to Little Falls. It took me a while to figure out what color tags were…read moreon sale since they don't post them but they are on announcements and there's a monitor on the ceiling near the checkout area. I found a book and some stick on nails I waited in line for and knew the cashier was not selling items that didn't have tags (there's a sign up front that says this policy too). However I thought all books were a set price and didn't worry until it was my turn and she asked if the book had a tag. I said no and told her where I found the book on the shelf. She said she can't sell it without a tag and just stared at me as if she was waiting for me to either put up a stink or ask more. I just said well I guess I can't buy it then? She set it aside. I did ask if she could just price it or get a manager and she said she was a manager and left it at that. Why was it on the sales floor then without a sticker if you have this policy? She said it would be out on the floor in the next day or so after getting a price. I stopped by later in the week after that to see if I could find the book again but I sadly couldn't find it, I got some other items instead and the gentlemen this time was super friendly and was astounded at hearing about my previous visit. If I knew about their policy beforehand I would have just taken a sticker off one item and put it on the book...I won't stop here again as it's out of the way.

This location has DRASTICALLY raised prices in the last year to the point of making it almost as…read moreexpensive as a Walmart. Aren't these items all donated?! Goodwill is expensive too now, but at least video games and DVDs have a set price. I just walked out after they wanted $14 for donated DVDs. Unthinkably high price. I'll give the store credit for its cleanliness and organization, but shopping has become very difficult.

Having purchased a house last year, I have needed to buy so many things including furniture, rugs,…read morelamps, tools, and random other stuff. This place has so many things for such affordable prices. Some of the items are brand new and even with the tag still on and some are more antique used items. The stock of what is available there is so random and can very depending on what they receive but they generally offer a selection of couches, tables, chairs, rugs, bookshelf's, and appliances. However, the best deal there are the lightbulbs. 4 bulbs for 99 ¢. Unbeatable.

There's a good variety of used and new items, along with various categories of goods.... big and small. Pricing varies as well, but you can bet your paying less than retail price. Some of the basics: sofas, artwork, rugs, paint, bedframes, lightbulbs, patio furniture, Some of the interesting: church pew, chandeliers, fancy stoves, building material (flooring, fixtures, cabinets) Some of the little things: command strips, paper towel holder, bath mat, frames There's so much, and you never know what you'll find during your visit so check it out. I will say, staff didn't seem warm and friendly (ie a smile, or offer to help), but at the same no one was directly rude. I gather if you ask for help, they'd assist. I noticed by the bed frames, a sign that said they have tools to disassemble, but you had to do it yourself, which is still helpful since some places wouldn't even offer that.

Goodwill is close to the house, and they take a wide variety of goods and with the drive-through drop off it's easy to minimalize your lifestyle. If you have any skeletons in your closets, leave those at home. The Art of Swedish Death Cleaning and Goodbye Things got me jumpstarted to donate, recycle and reuse for 2018. We live in a small house (yay, less cleaning) and I'm working on making a combination home office and guest sleeping space. Moving things on and not having excesses is a great way to accomplish that goal. I like how simple dropping things off at this Goodwill is. The young man who accepted our donations was helpful, fast and courteous. In the vehicle were an odd mix of furniture, household goods, stuffed animals and knick-knacks and now all of them are on their way to make someone else's day. Less really is more.

Called twice to give heads up that i had a 17' U-Haul with lots of furniture. Both calls the reps…read moresaid that was "ok" or "i will let management know". i arrived and the older, female managers appeared. I yelled twice from the truck (on opposite side of where they were standing in the bay) to confirm if i was parked ok. they never reply until 4th attempt with "i don't care". Got out of the truck and they proceeded to say that "we cannot help unload". what??? My point to them was it sure would've been nice to let me know when i called twice before. One said "i would've told you". pfffft....does lots of good now. i retort, "your staff didn't tell me". obviously the management is responsible for staff performance/training. all they are concerned about was that i not talk so loudly. mind you i was not yelling or berating but upset yes. that i had a 17' foot U-Haul stuffed to the gills with furniture weighting between 20 lbs and 250 lbs. So yes i did it but that is not the point. they should've let me know. they kept saying "it is b/c of covid". i pushed them on this and then they changed their answer to "it is policy". sheesh...they have a Goodwill store full of people, they both were not wearing masks mind you, and they are now all of a sudden afraid of covid? of course they do not say "thanks' for the donation. greedy, unprofessional, and worst - unreliable. never again will i donate to them. if i had known they were representing Goodwill, would've at least taken to another store location. Worst managers, incompetent.
