This Goodwill like all the others are overpriced for used and stained items/items missing. If you want Coochie cream on your clothes, then come here they should be taking out the overly stained and Coochie creamed items. Will not return overpriced and unsanitary.

Used to be a big fan of Goodwill, but then things changed. I noticed it mostly in 2019 when they got a new CEO. Prices went up quite a bit. Even then, it's a little bit ridiculous. What they're charging for some items when they are all donated. Some items are priced higher than it would be to buy retail in a store even with missing parts. It seems that Goodwill has forgotten what it is to be a secondhand store. If Goodwill can't make money offering better prices for the merchandise then I would have to question their corporate to see who's getting paid too much money.

Just picked up a really cool old vintage console record player at the Durango location. Looking forward to refinishing it! Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Paul was a big help to my daughter and me loading it in our truck. Thanks so much!

I didn't go inside the Goodwill Southern Nevada store. I come here to drop off donations often. This recent visit I dropped off clothes (8-10 year, and baby -5yr), shoes, and some furniture. There was plenty of help at the time. The gentleman were very nice and helpful. Immediate assistance was at the car to help me unload all of the donations. The location is really easy to get to. It's right off of the 215/Durango. You can also get to this Goodwill location by going the 95/Durango, and it's a few blocks down. If you're looking to donate items, this is a really good place to donate to. Goodwill diverted over 26 million pounds of usable items from their local landfill in 2016.

This was our first visit here at this location. It was clean and organized. The staff was friendly and helpful. We wandered around the aisles and looked at everything. There was a Christmas decor area, pet supplies, kitchen and Knick knacks. There was a lot of clothing and furniture. This was a great place to look around.

This is a chair cover I purchased. Looked to be brand new and grabbed it for a really great price.

I go to several of them frequently to see if I can find any treasures. Although I think that sometimes their prices are a little high being that most things are donated to them, I tend to shop for the items that are tagged with the discounted color tag of the day and add on another 20% off with my senior discount (55+) and sometimes I can get some really good deals. I tend to go right when they open as they seem to be busier in the afternoon and I rarely go on weekends as you can't seem to get thru the aisles with your cart. Don't ever you leave your cart unattended to look at something, I have had people literally take things out of my cart. Hey if they really needed it that badly, they can have it. I love the staff here at Durango because they have to put up with a few rude people every now and then. I always try and smile when I approach the counter (but then I remember, I'm wearing a mask and the can't see my smile) so when they ask how am I? I respond with a kind voice and let them know yes I am listening. I always end with "I appreciate you and have a wonderful day! I only wish that when they have broken or damaged items on the shelves or racks that they would discard them. Makes no sense to have them out to sell. Just a suggestion.

Hi Yelp friends!…read more This was my first time here. This is a super cute little resale boutique. Lotsa variety. All different sizes and styles. Some clothes, hats, shoes, other things. I feel like I did really good finding a half dozen cute tops for a really good discount. It's not so big a store where you feel over whelmed. It was just right. They have a beautiful mirror to use and cute little dressing rooms to try stuff on, which is perfect. The girl that works the register is very sweet. I asked her how it works and she was very kind to explain. You read the sign just above the clothes. They will state the sizes and any other info. Each little closet area is owned by a different person so that's why all the clothes are not sectioned by size. This is definitely a fun shop to visit for a fun thrifting afternoon. The parking lot is good size so I was able to find a spot. Though it is kinda busy. There are quite a few other shops and restaurants. It is situated back on the bottom floor of the shopping mall. Look for the cute Indy clover sign. Check it out if you are in the area. I recommend.

There have been a couple times I found some good deals and other times I left empty handed. It's worth a pop in to see what is in for the week if you live close by. But bring yourself a nose clip because the staff pumps in so much glade plug in scent that it literally made me gag. My clothes actually retain the sent of their plug ins after I got back home (a 30 minute drive for me). If you are sensitive to strong artificial scent I suggest you pass on this location and maybe try the Henderson location instead, where the only thing you will smell is the venders individual laundry detergent. Now if you can handle walking into a "Bath and Body Works" at the mall without make the, this is too overpowering face, then you will be fine.

I don't know what's going on at this location maybe they'll figure it out maybe they won't maybe the shelves will be stocked maybe they won't the clothes aren't being honest through there's shirts in the men's rack that have been on the rack since they opened. It has little monetary value, but to my family, it's everything. When I realized two days later what had happened, I rushed back to the store and searched through the linens, hoping for a miracle. The manager, Tiffany, and sales associate, Kelly, immediately jumped in to help, heading into the backroom and digging through inventory to try to find it. They couldn't locate it that day, but they didn't brush me off or treat it like "just another donation." I had accepted it was gone forever and was heartbroken. A few days later, I got the call I had been praying for. They found it! Processors , Rosa and Adriana, recognized it from the photo that had been shown them four days earlier (!!) and notified the manager. Tiffany even reviewed security footage to figure out who I was, and Kelly had thoughtfully saved my contact information from our earlier conversation. Because these women cared, TRULY cared, I was reunited with something that means the world to my family. I can't even put into words how grateful I am. What they did went so far beyond their job descriptions, and I will never forget their kindness.

The obvious sad and pathetic nature of that last sentence notwithstanding, suffice to say that I'm a proud thrifter. Not because I'm poor, lower middle class, employment challenged, or whatever the politically correct nomenclature is to refer to the "less fortunate" nowadays, but simply because I appreciate a good value. I've shopped at super high end thrift stores and ones in the middle of skid row in the demilitarized zone that used to be known as Los Angeles. Having resided in Las Vegas for the past 19 years, I believe I have shopped in every off price/thrift retailer that exists here, except for two. One was this Habitat Restore place and the other being Opportunity Village. I have shopped at both in the last couple days and here are my thoughts. Wow. That preamble went on way too long. My apologies. Anyways,,Restore is definitely not your traditional "thrift store". Let's get that straight right from the get-go. Not because of its architecture or that they allow smoking (I wish) but because of the type of store it is. They concentrate largely (but not exclusively) on home furnishings, construction materials (like toilets, bathtubs, closet doors, etc), and manufacture overruns. Their pricing is extremely competitive and in some cases outright killer bargains. When went there yesterday morning, they had colour codes their price tags to reflect discounts ranging from 25% to 75% off (and of course some colors has no discount). I recently moved and have been trying to furnish my new residence in a traditional yet eclectic style that isn't necessarily hipster wannabe or man cave, but a style all my own showcasing that yes I'm a 47 year old divorced dad of twins that is stuck thinking that "ten years ago" refers to around 1996 but I'm also content with my mismatched furnishings and a colour wheel of different cargo shorts. Restore literally hit the nail on the head for me. They offered what I believed to be former hotel furniture at rock bottom prices, and even had a couple pallets of this great Mid century modern end table that came IKEA style in a box that you get to put together at home. Being that I'm about as un-manly you can get as far as DIY projects, I was excited that the step by step instructions that came with the end table (all assembled with the included Alan Wrench of course), meant that even I can feel accomplished and satisfied knowing that I BUIIT THIS after the 3.5 hours I spent doing what would probably take most 13 year olds about 25 minutes to put together. Anyway, I digress. This store is awesome, and the staff is super friendly, approachable, professional, and courteous. I will be back probably tomorrow to waste more money, and suggest you do the same. On a side note, the last time I visited this location prior to yesterday was to buy a CD at the WOW! Grand opening. A combination of The Good Guys and Tower Records that was destined to fail. Those were the days.
