This was my first time coming to this location. I was looking for a shoe rack which they did not have. Most of the stuff had a spot. Things that went together, stayed together in the same area. Nothing really caught my eye. They did have a lot of clothes. Most of which was organized by color. That was pretty cool. I was hoping to find more bargains. After all everything is donated. This location doesn't always have a vintage music/vinyl section as it's more clothing driven, but there's still treasures to be found here. :) Last time I was here I picked up an original Speak N' Spell, and I've found a lot of fun kitchen gadgets here. I was in the area, I thought I should check out some Goodwill stores around the area and came to this one, I think this place used to be a supermarket or some kind of grocery shop before, is a good location and is right on the corner of the 2 major intersection. Is well organized for the most part, all the clothes, shoes, frames and other things are pretty much stocked to the fullest. The only thing that was messy were the Knick knacks like the glasses/ceramic figurines, holiday decorations, and all the other junk. You know the saying; one man's junk is another man's treasure lol is fun to look through everything. Is a good store, it was pretty crowded. Unfortunately I didn't find anything I liked so I left empty handed. Sometimes you find great stuff there and in good conditions, and some are brand new, they even have the original tags on it. I like the one by my house in the West Covina area by the mall, they get donations from the mall sometimes. Like 2 years ago, Guess donated all their floor samples and I found some great clothes. It has a little cut here at there but is hardly noticeable. If I was wearing it, you probably wouldn't even know I got it at Goodwill, you probably thought I got it at the Guess Store at the mall. Anyway, shopping at Goodwill is always a fun pastime. Good hunting for you guys. Plenty of parking in front. read more

I really love coming to this goodwill the only issue I have had was Debra. When I came to return something and she asked me if I was going shopping I told her I was going to look around but was not 100% sure if I was going to get something. She informed me that if I was shopping I could do everything thing together, which I get makes sense. But I waited in a line for a while while there were two cashiers. I didn't want to wait again, So she said So it's a no I said it was a maybe I wasn't sure because I had just got into the store just to return an item not to really shop around, But since I am here I was going to just look around MAYBE i will find something. So she was like well that means you are not shopping, but she said it very angresive that I was just stopped talking to her and just kept my mouth shut. While at the register a man came with a black shirt did not say a word. Just gave me a store credit card and Debra said very snoby "she says it doesn't charge" Once again biting my tongue for her extra attitude. While looking around the store she was calling out to a kid to stop running and to go back to his parents. Fair enough but the kid told you he was going to the toys he seamed old enough to know exactly where the toys are because that is exactly where he was going. But she insitthat he go back to his parents so they could take him to the toys. I remember being a young kid in the thrift store with my grandma and I headed straight for the toys because it gave her time to look as well catch up to us and she new exactly where we were. I didn't really see the issue with the kid being in the toy isle with out his parents but that is just me maybe there is some new rule goodwill has for this. Another time the security guard i informed him that there was a man stealing a backpack full of items and he said oh okay and I showed him the guy and he watched him walk right out the door with the clothes ughhhh maybe I am coming to this store to often read more

Came here looking for a pair of shoes to wear to a funeral. I wanted a pair of black dress looking shoes. Something that would go with my dress, but would be comfortable. Especially since the funeral consisted of the church portion and the burial ceremony outside afterwards. I needed a shoe that was cute, formal, but also comfortable to walk in grass. I searched all the shoes that they had in my size. There weren't a ton of options for what I was looking for, but I eventually found the perfect pair! They were a slight heeled black flat, with a silver buckle on them. Perfect for what I was looking for! :) I also grabbed some Halloween stuff since it was there and too cute to pass up. On the way here, I got turned around and mistook Cerritos Avenue for Orange Avenue--they're both Orange County cities; what can I say?--and I ended up at the front gates of Los Alamitos Race Course. I finally gave in and turned on my GPS, and I was only off by 2.6 miles. I was not expecting this Goodwill to be as large as it is or to have as extensive a collection of clothing as it does. It more than fit the bill for my (now) annual thrift Christmas shopping for my two nieces and two nephews, and I wished I had come here first so that I didn't have to spend so much time at other Goodwills. But whom am I kidding, because I quite enjoy going to multiple Goodwills to look for used junk they'll either like or think is cool. I used to stress out about it in typical John S. fashion, but the worst-case scenario is that the item of clothing doesn't fit, or they don't like it. So? So what! It's cheap; it's for a good cause, and I have absolutely no compunction whatsoever about donating to Goodwill what I bought two weeks earlier at Goodwill--although I usually try to donate at a different store from where I bought it. I think of them like Little Free Libraries that aren't quite free. Back to the Cerritos Goodwill. They have quite the selection of sports-themed clothing. That includes, of course, the ubiquitous jerseys and warmups from local high schools, middle schools, and traveling teams. But in my experience, this location has more pro-sports-branded clothing than any other Goodwill, and it's not just Lakers and Angels stuff. The parking lot isn't as shady as it looks, although I've only come here when it's light out. read more

We brought an older but perfectly working 42" LCD TV here for donation and the employee picked it up and balanced it on his head (screen side) to transport it, destroying the LCD screen in the process. I was so upset by the lack of respect for the belonging I expected to be given a second life. I won't bring anything else here because of how these folks treat donations. I'd rather make sure I donate clothing to veterans organizations (free for vets), and that electronics are properly recycled. read more

Nice place its clean and organized and well lit. The bad thing is that whatever color is on sale needs to be bought early because it seems starting Monday there are workers who start pulling the sale color items off the shelf so by Thursday all the colored items on sale are gone. I do not go thrifting often, but my kids love it. We came to goodwill not knowing what to expect. We had such a good time, and I contribute it to one of the workers there. Her name was Debbie. She was so kind to my teenage sons. She was very knowledgeable helping us find the areas of the store that they wanted to look at. I felt like she went up and beyond to be accommodating to us. Donate. shop. donate. shop. This is the cycle of Goodwill life. This week I finally got myself to gather up all the bags I had all ready for Goodwill. I usually drop it off at the parking lot next to the Los Alamitos racetracks but it was not there anymore. So I went to the Lincoln store for the drop off.. It is located in the backside of the store. Pull up and an associate will unload your trunk for you. They take computer monitors, in case you are wondering. As I drove off, I could not resist and parked the car. Went in and made a beeline for the vinyl records. wow, they had some and it was in way better condition than the last time I visited. Price went up to $ 2.99 from 1.99. That's OK, I did some digging and found a few treasures in the stack. Be patient Grasshopper,you will always find something cool, vintage, modern... It looks like one of the boutique style Goodwills: trendy decor, well dressed mannequins BUT prices aren't outrageous. Many of the separates were priced at $6.99 but they were in really good condition AND they were very stylish. Sadly, I didn't have time to try on any of the clothes. There were also many beautiful household items and decor that were reasonably priced. I didn't need to rummage through the whole store to find some treasures, I brought home 2 new large Sterilite plastic crates for $1.99 each and a pretty lampshade for $2.99. This branch is surely going on my weekly thrift store rotations. read more

I have come here to get pants for work Levi's and wranglers jeans. A couple of times no luck but 90% of the time I have come I have been lucky. Today was one of those days picked up 3 pairs of pants and a Old Navy jacket that my daughter said would retail new 70 to 80 bucks. Always clean and employees and volunteers very friendly. April 2021, Great location that sells a variety of preowned items-new items. Most of the items here seem to be from Target. I found that the location is well stocked and always have visible signs for the color of the week. I found that going to the location the best time would be early morning or mid afternoon. read more

First time at this location and let me tell you it is small. I noticed that all goodwill locations have bumped up their prices. There's a reason why they are second hand store but this company is getting a little greedy. I like shopping for kitchenwares. One glass measuring cup ( 6 cup) for $5.99 when Costco has a set of 3 measuring glass cups for $6.99, yup. They also had 3 Piece Glass prep bowls (the little ones) for $3.99!. All of their mason jars $2.99! I found an iron for $10 and I noticed it had a little crack and so wanted to make sure it wasn't leaking water so I went to the counter and asked if can test it because I really wanted this iron and wanted to make sure it wasn't leaking water. The cashier said yes I'll take it to the break room and test it. He comes back to tell me the manager said no that if it leaked I can return it. I wonder what was the reason behind to not let me test it.? Is just simple thing. I did end up getting the iron and happy to report that it did not leaked! The store offers 50% off any item with a certain color tag. Today Feb 10, 2022 was blue tag. I was looking to buy a junk shirt for a project . I looked at every single item in every rack in women's and men's long and short sleeve and not ONE item had a blue tag. I asked for a manager instead I was directed to a lead person who said all blue items were taken out of the racks because it's the last blue tag sale day. 3.5 rounded up. Just opened in Jan 2019! It's still got that new store floor & fresh paint! All purple tagged items were 50% off when I went. My husband score two gently worn Quiksilver button ups. I found a handful of Target items which were probably used for displays but all in all "new." Opalhouse, Up and Up, etc. One of the wreaths was actually in Target's clearance for the same price. Some items seemed more expensive than they should've been such as picture frames and some Threshold (Target) tv stands. All in all a nicer Goodwill because of the newness factor. I love this location. I feel it's clean and well-organized. There is always new and, exciting stuff being put on the shelves. Most of my wardrobe and half my kitchen supplies are from this location. I like the management and employees too. I have been attending this location for many years, and have never written a review. It's right next to the college and is usually pretty busy. You might have problems finding parking in the middle of the day. I would definitely recommend going earlier in the day, or later in the evening. Also,,,if you want to donate, they have a convenient drive-up to drop off. Very cool. Give this location a try. It always has great stuff. read more

This Goodwill is massive! The parking is tricky at times but still considered a pretty decent lot. Was around the area and had to stop in because it looked so big and fancy. The store is organized decently and although it's hard to keep a Goodwill in order they seem to be trying. A lot of clothes and knick knacks. If you like to thrift and find hidden treasures it's definitely worth a visit as it's huge. I didn't get enough time unfortunately to really get digging to find any gold. The area of Cypress seems to be getting gentrified pretty quickly and it's got a few cool places to shop and eat at. So take a peek around! read more

hmmm, to thrift here it's good sometimes, but most the times i will always walk out with something. But it's more on the higher end of thrifting i would say, not like amvets, family thrift etc. which is always cheap, like $3-4 a shirt. They do have 50% off certain colored tags days of the week, but of course, you barely find them anywhere which sucks. Donating here is a pain, only because the guys in the back seem to care less about the people trying to donate. i came in today and they just pointed trying to give me hand signals without saying a word and being ignored, so i would not come here to donate. Very clean & organized facility. I was very impressed with this store's upkeep. I have been to stores that don't sell used items that are way more unorganized. I highly recommend this location for your needs and I'm sure you will have an easy time finding the item your looking for as a result of this store's organization. The staff is also very upbeat and friendly. My cashier was an older woman, unfortunately I do not remember her name but she was smiling and obviously having a great time working there. I haven't seen such happy workers in a long time, I'm very pleased with this store to say the least. The sales associates also communicated the color of the tag that was on sale, I went on a Sunday and the color was green, not sure if it's always green on Sunday but either way the employees do a great job of communicating that to the shoppers. read more
