My Favorite place to find the best treasures money can buy. if I could come here every single day, I would. The employees here are so very kind, helpful, and they make the shopping experience an exciting adventure the way they share in the enthusiasm of the rare items found here. the prices are absolutely fair and if you see an item that you feel may be over priced, wait till you get to the register cause its probably 25-50 percent less than marked. This store has everything! New and used items. The store is very clean, it doesn't smell like a thrift store. There is a lot of furniture! There is a lot of food and they accept EBT, which is very helpful. I shop here every other week or so. I like that they carry seasonal items. Such a great variety of items at this store. From original thrift items to brand new items and even brand name stuff!! And all for a great price. To be fair some of the items are decently priced, but start checking all the food items both in the fridge and out. I just went and found a pancake mix from Trader Joe's checked the Trader Joe's site and that specific item they were selling was priced at $4 when at Trader Joe's brand new and not expiring soon was priced at $2. So who decides the prices? Some of the pills and other items are the same. I also say a spring Norman Rockwell figure priced at $52 checked eBay and it's being sold for $10. Honestly I think they are taking advantage of people who don't know much or don't shop at certain locations. They are given donations to help out but instead they are doubling or tripling the price of items that are way cheaper to just get at that original store. Get it together. People who donate here should think twice about giving their items to this place to be turned around and sold for up to triple the original price. read more

I loved how little I spent with everything I bought. I walked away with a couple new clothing items that are in excellent condition (buy one get one free sale going on at the time). The furniture is in excellent condition and priced very low. They also have snacks and food that I was able to use for my daughter's birthday. The staff is also very nice and helpful. I haven't eaten anywhere new lately so I'll write an update for this thrift store for your enjoyment. Gone are the days of my previous 5 star review. Greed has taken over this thrift store and prices have skyrocketed. Most if not all items in the store cost more than if you just went to Target and brought it brand new. $13.98 for some Tide detergent with a broken cap? Are you fucking kidding me??!! I guess you guys have to pay for your Lexus, Mercedes, and Cadillacs some how. I kid you not, this is the type of vehicles the staff drive at this thrift store. Guess not much money goes towards the charity itself. And by staff I mean the folks in the office, not the folks working the register. They still have a nice selection of stuff...... but you have to come here with a knowledge of pricing or you'll get ripped off. I still go once a week since I work up the street and I still find a deal once in a great while..... but I'm downgrading your greedy asses to two stars. I mean come on..... $2.99 for some $1.99 windshield wiper fluid???? $4.98 for a used book that you used to charge 50 cents for..... Food items expired in 2009?!?! Sheesh... My husband and I found this by accident just driving down the street and pulling in to program my gps. It looked interesting and we went in to look around. It was near Christmas and we bought a lot of gifts. Unusual games mostly. We have returned and found out about their Thursday discounts which was what transpired on our first visit unbeknownest to us. You need to know your prices as some of great, some so-so and others higher than Walmart, etc. We'll be back. read more

I have been shopping at this store since it first opened at its first location, in Orange. At first there were lots of good deals. However, lately their pricing has left me asking myself, why am I wasting my time to drive across town to get here, when Target and Walmart is closer and CHEAPER..I guess I'm a sucker for the cause. I will say they have good prices for pet supplies, medicines and small household appliances. If your planning a trip you can pick up hotel samples very cheap. As with any thrift store it will be a hit or a miss, you have to know what you are buying and check the dates on the food, they have lots of food items that have expired or are about to. I Bought some shoes at target for 5.98 and they are selling them for 14.98 wow.. I think I'll still to the good will and salvation army. They don't even have the prices that high. Mind you even the new clothes they have are out rageous too now. A sweater from Nordstroms was 19.98 yes it was from Nordstroms.. but it was dirty.. Then have NFL stuff for Babiesand that is priced higher than Targets clearence price right now... Don't get me wrong some stuff have deals but not everything.. It used to have realy good pricing but now it's alot higher on items. Shampoo prices are even higher too now.. It's just dissapointing. read more

I LOVE THIS STORE!!! GREAT PRICES AND GREAT MERCHANDISE! Most Thrift Stores are dirty and unorganized, but the Eli Home Thrift Store is VERY clean and EXTREMELY organized! I continuously find myself coming back there to shop because honestly I save alot of money. They have brand new inexpensive items from Target and other donors and also now FRESH FOOD! They have now started buying their own merchandise as well, so not ALL of the product is donated which helps to have more of a variety of things. The store is HUGE and they even have a new Jewelry, make-up and hair product section. I truly suggest that you stop by and check out this store....you WONT be disappointed. ALSO all the proceeds of the store go to supporting abused women and children. I like the idea of my money going to a local home for abused children, i myself spent 10 years in and out of Orangewood, so its nice to see this store much like salvation army/goodwill only difference is all profits goto the home for abused kids. Its got persihabke items, clothes new and used, furniture items as well. It is very well kept up all utems clealry labeled with prices and organized way better than any goodwill or samvation army ive set foot in. Yes i do agree with other reviews MARKED UP prices on items that would be cheaper to buy at a store whoever is doing pricing should really look at what they are doing for example a bottle of head and shoulders was in a "clearance bucket for 5.99 marked down from 8.99 and i googled it at Walmart for 3.97 Its hit or miss but you can google anything on price hence i say again whoever is pricing items needs to recheck themselves. All and all i will come back and dont mind shopping here for the cause they support and want my money to go somewhere rather than some corporation. Staff was very friendly, they have a "little store" inside the big one which to i foumd pwculicar with hygiene stuff makeups, etc and you have to pay for those items inside that area, but they have many amall items outside the store or aka in the main store of the same so i found this weird too, so i had 2 transactions hence my 3 star review. Improvements can be made to make it more consistent and less confusing on that part so i dont think you can blame the floor employees for that it have to be a management thing to fix. read more
