They are really random and again this is no chain no fake deals just straight up GOOD OLD FASHION "Osito" deals. That is a slang term that I have used to say dirt poor. Staff is ultra nice even with those that appear lost and confused. Do not get me wrong it is a small venue so be kind. As they have offered the community a new beginning of sharing the wealth. I can…read moretell that the pieces they choose have a vintage vibe to them and are trendy, but I still do see clothes mixed in that are fast fashion when swiping through the racks. The jewelry is limited but carefully selected, as well as home and kitchen decor, vinyl recs, and stationary on the left of the store. They have a nice selection of kids and baby clothes in the back. The clothing racks were organized and color coordinated which I really appreciate as thrift shopping could be overwhelming at times. The clearance section in FV isn't like that and much more limited compared to this one. Typical costs of non-clearance clothing is around $10-$20 with certain brands being much higher. It's not terrible for thrifting considering the rising costs at Goodwill and Savers, but their clearance section is definitely their saving grace for me. I was trying on one of the clearance cardigans and looking at how it fits me in a mirror when one of the older women workers walked by and told me that I can't try on clothes and that they have a return/exchange policy. However, that doesn't apply to their clearance items as those are final sale so it was kind of annoying to be told that, especially since I saw a girl down my same aisle trying on a jacket lol. I sell my clothes here sometimes and I wouldn't recommend it. They bought one of my denim jackets for less than $5 and was reselling it for $40, kinda irked me tbh lol. Unfortunately, they were also playing super conservative Republican radio.. One that involves a husband, wife, GF, or BF getting off work early & maybe calling in sick the next day. Most Halloween costumes say Spirit or Halloween Express somewhere on the packaging. Not these costumes. These costumes said "Forplay" on them--as in the activities that precede the activity. One costume was called "A Scaredly Lion." The woman modeling the costume did not look that afraid though--she looked more like a hungry or thirsty lion to me. A mom checked out a milkmaid costume for her daughter or herself presumably, & I'm not sure she understood the type of milk maid labor this costume implied. Salvation Army, these were not Halloween costumes or costumes suitable for kids; these were spicy night costumes--the kind that are not meant to be worn for most of the night. 5 stars for bizarre amusement in adult slumber party costume merchandise form. There's usually only one associate in the store, but I've had good experiences from different people the times I've gone. I love the messaging and giving back to the community!
