They also were able to squeeze me in to have my tooth pulled within the needed timeframe to provide relief as quickly as possible. Leading up to the procedure they called gave several reminders and ensured I was prepared for the big day. On the day of the surgery I arrived promptly and was greeted by the friendliest staff. I began to get nervous/overwhelmed and they helped me calm down to ensure I was comfortable while getting the procedure done. Dr. Naghibi entered the room and was so amazing. She ensured I felt minimal discomfort and literally coached me through getting my tooth pulled. I was so nervous to feel the tooth coming out and to my astonishment, I didn't feel a thing. She then gave me post op care and ensured I knew what to do in the coming days. Her surgical assistant was also amazing! I wish I remembered her name but she was so positive, informative, and also ensured I felt well taken care of! He wanted to make sure that my mother was as prepared as possible and even told us that one of the medications she is taking Would be problematic so he told us to stop taking it for a period of time before he would be willing to schedule the procedure. The time that he spent explaining the process to us and the fact that he cared enough to say he wasn't comfortable doing the procedure until my mother took these steps in preparation, impressed me. My mother was very anxious about this whole process and he made her feel very comfortable. If you need oral surgery, I highly recommend this practice! I was referred to this office by another dentist because I had an infected wisdom tooth and needed emergency treatment. I called as soon as the office opened, explained my situation, and was told to complete my paperwork and come in immediately. The doctor told me he would squeeze me in between scheduled appointments because it was an emergency. I arrived around 11:00 a.m., completed the check-in process, verified my insurance, and paid approximately $1,500 before my procedure. I was then told to wait. I asked how long the wait would be and was told it would probably be another two to three hours. I understood that emergencies can involve waiting, so I was patient. By around 3:30 p.m., I had been there for hours longer than the estimate I was given, so I went to the front desk to ask for an update. Instead of receiving one, I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing the staff simply by asking a reasonable question. One receptionist repeatedly interrupted me while I was speaking, dismissed my concerns, and responded in a way that came across as impatient and unconcerned. Rather than checking with the doctor, she repeatedly told me to sit down and wait. Earlier in the day, I had even asked if I could leave and come back later if the doctor was running behind. I was told I could not leave and that I needed to stay in the office until the doctor was ready. Because of that, I remained there the entire day. After I insisted that someone ask the doctor how much longer it would actually be, I was finally taken to a treatment room. At that point, I thought the procedure was about to begin. Instead, I waited for approximately two more hours. During that time, I had already been given medication and was sitting there in pain while repeatedly being told, "He'll be in shortly." The procedure itself was completed successfully, and I have no complaints about the surgical work. My complaint is about how my time and my concerns were handled. I arrived around 11:00 a.m. and did not leave until approximately 7:00 p.m. The procedure was not performed until after the office had finished seeing its scheduled appointments. Unfortunately, the problems continued after surgery. I was discharged without the work excuse my employer required, even though the office later acknowledged that it should have been provided before I left. I then spent the next several days making repeated phone calls trying to obtain a work note and disability paperwork. I was promised callbacks that never happened, told documents would be emailed that I never received, and had to make multiple trips back to the office because paperwork was incomplete or not ready when I had been told it would be. One example that stood out was receiving a phone call at approximately 4:55 p.m. telling me my paperwork was finally ready for pickup--even though the office closed at 5:00 p.m. When I explained that it was impossible for me to make it there in five minutes, I was essentially told that I could either have it emailed or come back another day. It was the same dismissive attitude I had experienced throughout the entire process. This review is not about the outcome of my surgery. It is about the customer service, communication, scheduling, and the way I was treated as a patient. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office for anyone dealing with a dental emergency. My emergency was repeatedly placed behind scheduled appointments, I spent nearly eight hours in the office despite being told I was being "worked in," and I had to spend additional days chasing paperwork that should have been handled before I was discharged. If you have a scheduled appointment, your experience may be different. But if you are in severe pain and need emergency treatment, I would strongly recommend looking for an office that can provide more timely care, better communication, and more professional follow-up!

He explained that there were certain things she had to do before we could move forward and schedule the extractions. The front desk staff, Shannon specifically, was also phenomenal. From the moment I called to place the appointment and asked her many questions, to when we arrived, and she helped get us checked in and settled, she was great. Very friendly and personable, but also very knowledgeable and professional. This dentist is obviously very popular based on the amount of people that were there. The examination itself felt very rushed. The doctor briefly looked at my upper right tooth using a tongue depressor and spent about 5 minutes discussing possible extractions. Normally, a dental mirror is used for proper examination of teeth, so the lack of a proper instrument was concerning. I also requested an evaluation of tooth #13 (upper left), and I was told it would be included in the report. The entire visit lasted about 10 minutes. Now it's 2017 and I had to have my wisdom teeth extracted. I didn't think twice about having it done at MOS. I called my primary and got a referral. Called the office on a Monday morning and got an appointment for that Thursday. Crystal, the receptionist I spoke with was very professional. She advised my Dr. Frey was out that week but I was in such pain I decided to schedule with Dr. Naghibi. I was skeptical at first but confidant that my experience would be just as pleasant as the first. I arrived 15 mins early for my appt as Crystal requested so I could complete the necessary paperwork. I also emailed her my X-rays so she could pull them for the surgeon. I was called to the back at 10:05. I signed another consent, made my payment and to the procedure area I went. Shaunte, who was my dental assistant was exceptionally pleasant. She took my BP and got me prepped for my procedure. Dr. Naghibi came in soon after. She's very professional. She explained everything she was doing. If I told her I felt pain she immediately address the concern. During the entire procedure Shaunte was there offering encouragement and vacuuming the excess saliva from my mouth. She was very good. The entire procedure took 20-25 mins. That was for 2 wisdom teeth. I'm on day 4 of recovery and I have had little swelling. My pain had not been more than a 4 on a 1-10 scale. I've been able to stick with the Motrin for pain and I followed the after care instructions exactly as they were explained by Shaunte. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone needing a tooth extraction or are considering implants. The staff here are very pleasant and professional from the receptionist to the surgeon. They also called the next day after surgery to see how I was feeling and to see if I had any questions.
