You'll be greeted by Sue, the charming and capable office administrator. She will quickly take all necessary paperwork, and the appointment you scheduled will be honored on time. The staff here is efficient. Dr. Cranska has got to be one of the most down-to-earth men you're ever going to meet. He offers clear explanations for the work you're about to have. The precision with which he works is evident, and this can only come with many years of experience in the field of dentistry. Allison is the wizard, however, with her genius hands and her years of dental hygiene, she should win an award for excellence in dental hygiene. I'm not a fussy person by nature, but I'm quite fussy about my dentist. I travel 100 miles round trip for Dr. Cranska and his team. This team is a hidden gem in Severna Park, MD.

Sue manages his front office and the Drs. wife handles teeth hygiene. They have always been there when we needed them. Also he is quite an expert in laser denistry. Please take our recommendation.

You talk about someone who cares he not only cares about his patient but cares about how well he does his job & makes sure you are happy when u leave the office. The office staff is friendly & willing to help. If u have a question & they dont know the answer they find it out & call back quickly.

I say this because I know many others feel as I do and would love to find a dental practice that makes them feel comfortable and supported. If so, I can't recommend Dental FX ENOUGH! Dr Yu and her amazing staff will welcome you to their practice in a manner that is incredibly personable. Clearly they take pride in a customer experience that is caring, thoughtful and considerate. If you go for the first time, let them know your worries as much as your goals. They listen and remember what you say. Not only do they do a great job in dentistry, they are passionate about supporting you in ways that most dentist practices overlook. The staff are friendly, fun and always learning and they love to share ways you can take better care of your dental maintenance. They think about your experience from the moment you arrive. They explain anything you may not understand in a fashion that makes sense. They think about areas that may feel uncomfortable. TVs, headsets, and eye shades are located in each dental room so you can relax and aren't staring up at overhead bright lights while they're working. Another example... when your mouth is open for too long it gets dry. I mentioned this and they immediately offered me a swab of lip balm. I hope this provides just enough context to get a sense for how this team of friendly professionals come together to redefine how dental care ought to be done!

I moved away and then returned to the DC area and instead…read moreof finding a new dentist, I just made an appt here and drive the hour in. 1 odd thing happened during my first visit back. The hygienist (a woman that is a weathered ol dog that you can tell does not want to be doing teeth anymore) used a very exasperated tone of annoyance that she was going to have to do extra work on my teeth due to my lack of dental care and she was going to charge me extra for a deep clean. I said "why are you going to do that? I get my teeth cleaned every 6 mos." She didn't apologize, just said oh and asked if I had moved and then she moved on. The reason for my bad review is that I have asked for my $60 to be refunded 5 times in the past 1.5 years. I didn't even realize they had my money until my first visit back and they were talking about that deep clean as if that $60 would cover that!! They charged me too much to put my bottom retainer back on and they have held onto my money for what must be 5 years now at minimum. I've asked fora refund in person 3 times. I've asked by phone twice. They will NOT relinquish my money. They tell me they have submitted it to corporate. Who is corporate? Can I contact them myself? They will tell me nothing. So now I'm going escalating.

I was a patient of Dr. Schulman's for nearly a decade…read more When I first stopped by his office I was impressed with the awards he displayed in the waiting room. As time passed I noticed no new awards were added. That's pretty consistent with how my treatment went. Cleanings are pretty bare bones and done quickly. I was typically in and out in 20 minutes. Some times I would see the doctor, other times they were not available. There are two big downsides to this office. Communication and organization During cleanings, I would never be told of any problem areas or concerns. If I spoke up I might get a little information, but it was like pulling teeth (couldn't resist). I can't fix things if I think everything is OK. Having a more open dialogue between patient and hygienist would be super beneficial in my opinion. As far as organization, at one point I was told I was like a year and a half late for x-rays. I don't keep track of such things, but was surprised it took so long for them to notice how far out of date my x-rays were. The only reason they even noticed was because their records were audited. I decided to move to True Dental in Odenton, which is much more thorough with other tools and technology. My first cleaning took almost an hour but my teeth have never felt cleaner. There were digital pictures shown to demonstrate exactly what they were seeing, points of concern, and many back and forth conversations throughout that were very helpful.
