Fast forward to the day of my extraction. The procedure was quick and painless. I was given a post-procedure manual that had instructions on how to care for mouth and do's and don't's for the first week. A few hours after my procedure, I received a call from Dr. Buckle checking in to see how I was feeling and if I was experiencing any pain, which I wasn't. Once the anesthesia wore off, I was bracing myself for the pain I knew was about to hit. To my surprise, I felt nothing. No pain, no discomfort, nothing (I did take the medication she prescribed and as frequently as was recommended). I plan to get my wisdom teeth out later this year and will definitely be back to see Dr. Buckle. I highly recommend her and her team for your surgical needs. Not to mention, the office is super cute and clean!

During that call, I was informed that the plan had changed and that six teeth would be extracted in one session. I explained that I was not comfortable with removing six teeth at once and requested to proceed with extracting two teeth as originally planned, with the option to schedule another appointment for the remaining teeth. However, I was told that this was not possible and that if I did not agree to the six extractions, my appointment would be canceled. This approach felt unreasonable and dismissive of my concerns as a patient. As a result, my appointment was canceled, and I now have to wait another two months to find care elsewhere. This situation has been a significant inconvenience, and I have filed a formal complaint regarding the clinic's handling of my case.

I don't just say that to say it; I really mean it. One of the things I respect about Dr. Goodman is his no-nonsense approach to dentistry. He will tell you what you need for your best dental health and not try to BS you. Earlier I mentioned a root canal in all of its negative connotations and wanted to say that my recent experience, while not pleasant since it was a root canal, wasn't a nightmare of pain and suffering either. As a matter of fact it was a fairly quick hour that included no pain and really was no more difficult than a typical filling. I've had dental problems all my life and have seen every type of dentist you can think of. The braggarts, the self-righteous, the ones who seem more like car salesman than doctor and the ones that are combination's of all the worst traits. Dr. Goodman is the real-thing and like the Dr. Pepper commercial discusses which is harder to believe: 1) Santa 2) A good tasting diet soda 3) A good Dentist you can trust to take care of you and not hurt you.. Leading up to the procedure they called gave several reminders and ensured I was prepared for the big day. On the day of the surgery I arrived promptly and was greeted by the friendliest staff. I began to get nervous/overwhelmed and they helped me calm down to ensure I was comfortable while getting the procedure done. Dr. Naghibi entered the room and was so amazing. She ensured I felt minimal discomfort and literally coached me through getting my tooth pulled. I was so nervous to feel the tooth coming out and to my astonishment, I didn't feel a thing. She then gave me post op care and ensured I knew what to do in the coming days. Her surgical assistant was also amazing! I wish I remembered her name but she was so positive, informative, and also ensured I felt well taken care of! From the moment I made the appointment and spoke with Shannon on the phone, until the point, we walked out of the office today, everybody was amazing. The office is not huge, but they are clearly very popular and very busy! Despite that, everybody on the staff was friendly and accommodating, and we never felt rushed. He wanted to make sure that my mother was as prepared as possible and even told us that one of the medications she is taking Would be problematic so he told us to stop taking it for a period of time before he would be willing to schedule the procedure. The time that he spent explaining the process to us and the fact that he cared enough to say he wasn't comfortable doing the procedure until my mother took these steps in preparation, impressed me. He explained that there were certain things she had to do before we could move forward and schedule the extractions. The front desk staff, Shannon specifically, was also phenomenal. From the moment I called to place the appointment and asked her many questions, to when we arrived, and she helped get us checked in and settled, she was great. Very friendly and personable, but also very knowledgeable and professional. This dentist is obviously very popular based on the amount of people that were there. However, even though he was running behind, the staff kept us informed and were still very efficient. But despite that, he did not rush us, and he answered all of our questions. If you need to have any teeth extracted, and you find him on your own or get a referral, I would not hesitate to reach out because it was a very positive experience, and we definitely feel more comfortable about returning when my mother is ready to have her teeth extracted.

When I arrived for my appointment I filled out the new patient paperwork and was taken to the back to begin the procedure. My oral surgeon that time was Dr. Frey. He is absolutely the best. He explained everything and the tooth extraction didn't hurt at all. It took him maybe 10 mins to remove the tooth. He had excellent bedside manner. Now it's 2017 and I had to have my wisdom teeth extracted. I didn't think twice about having it done at MOS. I called my primary and got a referral. Called the office on a Monday morning and got an appointment for that Thursday. Crystal, the receptionist I spoke with was very professional. She advised my Dr. Frey was out that week but I was in such pain I decided to schedule with Dr. Naghibi. I was skeptical at first but confidant that my experience would be just as pleasant as the first. I arrived 15 mins early for my appt as Crystal requested so I could complete the necessary paperwork. I also emailed her my X-rays so she could pull them for the surgeon. I was called to the back at 10:05. I signed another consent, made my payment and to the procedure area I went. Shaunte, who was my dental assistant was exceptionally pleasant. She took my BP and got me prepped for my procedure. Dr. Naghibi came in soon after. She's very professional. She explained everything she was doing. If I told her I felt pain she immediately address the concern. During the entire procedure Shaunte was there offering encouragement and vacuuming the excess saliva from my mouth. She was very good. The entire procedure took 20-25 mins. That was for 2 wisdom teeth. I'm on day 4 of recovery and I have had little swelling. My pain had not been more than a 4 on a 1-10 scale. I've been able to stick with the Motrin for pain and I followed the after care instructions exactly as they were explained by Shaunte. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone needing a tooth extraction or are considering implants. The staff here are very pleasant and professional from the receptionist to the surgeon. They also called the next day after surgery to see how I was feeling and to see if I had any questions.
