Wow, just wow. I was skeptical that Worland could actually have a sandwich shop/ burger place this good, even though I had been told about it. I am very happy to be totally wrong in that skepticism. I had the Dark Side of the Moon burger (Swiss Mushroom, Bacon) with side salad. The first bite of the burger and I knew it ranked as one of the best I've ever had. This is probably because everything is made on site from scratch. The buns are homemade with a marvelous flavor and consistency. The mushrooms sautéed perfectly and the crumbled thick bacon rounded. The other burger we had was the Sgt Pepper Burger that included fried jalapeños. Reports said it was incredibly done as well. The side salad was fresh and the homemade ranch dressing very good. We rounded off the meal sharing red velvet cheesecake and a fresh sticky bun. I'd eat either again, in an instant. We have leftovers to enjoy for another meal as well. If you catch them open, give them a try. I hope your visit is as great as ours. read more

They charged for our water! I would have understood if it was served as bottled water, but it was in plastic cups. We were told where to get refills out of the dispenser. The waiter asked if it was "dine in" or "to go" and we told him "dine in". The meal was served in "Go Boxes" and we got pre packaged plastic ware like you'd get at a picnic. Easily the best food in Worland and possibly the best in all of Wyoming (I haven't hit every restaurant yet, but give me time). Goodies has the best breakfast and lunch options in town. Real hash browns and yummy homemade biscuits and gravy are a wonderful way to start the day. They have a great selection of fresh and juicy burgers. My favorite is their "dark side of the moon" The lunch specials are excellent too (their chicken enchiladas are superb. My mouth is watering just thinking about them). Their desserts and pastries are made from scratch and delicious. Items I've tried so far and loved: cinnamon rolls, glazed donuts, carrot cupcakes, maple bacon cupcakes, red velvet cupcakes (so good), pink lemonade cupcakes, six layer chocolate cake, bread pudding, peanut butter pie (I didn't think I'd like it but boy was I wrong), coconut cake, banana cream pie, coconut cream pie, and last, but not least, their lemon ginger creme brûlée. It's officially the dessert for my last meal. In life you get what you pay for and at Goodies that's really good homemade food from people who take pride in what they put on your plate. read more

Best burgers in all of everywhere! The patties are huge and juicy. The buns are amazing. The toppings are in balance with no one flavor overpowering another. The fresh, homemade fries are terrific. All in all, it's a meal worth driving from Billings to get. The only unfortunate aspects of Goodies are the building itself (it's easy to miss) and the hours. If it's open, go. Go now. Clean, friendly, reasonable cost, and great food. I would come back to Worland just to eat that Sgt pepper burger again! My family had the potatoe soup and chicken bites. They loved it. WOW, what a FIND! I wish we had enough room for a full lunch like the delicious hamburger and fries we saw being served to every table. Somehow I will have to find a way to go back through there before they close at 2:30. I had a latte and a chocolate covered donut filled with banana crème! I love banana creme and boy was it good! I couldn't resist and picked up a chocolate chip cookie for later, which was quite tasty with plenty of white and chocolate chips. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Worland. But, in my opinion, their lunch menu is the best bet. The sandwiches and soups are always wonderful, and their burgers are very tasty. I have been consistently unimpressed with the baked goods (was that cream cheese in the "tiramisu"?), and dinner is pretty pricey. read more

I love their raspberry salad. Fresh blueberries strawberries raspberries. The chicken is baked to perfection. Best raspberry dressing I've ever had. Customer Service is wonderful. This place is okay for a restaurant in Worland. We lived in Worland years ago for a short time and never ate out because every place was pretty awful in our opinion. This day we were camping in the Big Horns and drove down to resupply. We read the reviews on the new places that have opened in the last few years here and gave this one a try for lunch. The restaurant is generally clean but a few things were not and it bothered us. For one thing, the grout in the bathrooms is grimy. I saw that it is old tile but you can keep grout clean, trust me I do it all the time. The liquid soap dispenser was gross too. They have the large commercial grinder pepper and salt on the tables and ours were filthy, I mean really sticky and nasty. I got up and washed my hands after using them. Also some of the staff had food on their aprons, which is kind of disgusting. Do they not have extra aprons? We ordered hamburgers and potato fries. The fries were amazing, hand cut and crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, just the way I like. The burger was very average. The home made bun other reviewers rave about was bland and doughy. And the was no lettuce, tomato, or onion served with it. The staff member who took my payment was really rude too. Just a boring, average lunch experience in small town WY. But not terrible so, for Worland, Goodies is probably a good bet. Certainly better than most places in town. read more
