This place is BS! Me and my husband met up with my family…read morefor dinner, 6 adults. We didn't realize that all the plates were $20 and above. We didn't really want that much so we agreed to split a plate. A $24 chicken parmesan. Just letting you know if you want to share there is an additional $6 charge, but when they ring it up it's $6.18. Not that it matters but get your sign right. So that was $30 for one plate. Food came out, there was water all over the side of my spaghetti. Like it looked like someone had scooped the paste out of the pit with a big spoon and let the water come on the plate as well. I asked for napkins so I could dry it up on my plate. The chicken was burnt and there was a thin slice of cheese on top. And I mean it looked like a thin pale version of a Kraft single. The sauce had absolutely no form of seasoning in it. It was pure strait from the jar sauce. The garlic knots were good. And my BIL demanded that I say that the portion of his risotto was nowhere next to even with the price. Now the pissed me off part. We get our checks and mine is $40. HUH!?! That was a $24 plate. Well, they added their own tip to each check. An additional $6.18. So they added their own $12 additional cost to my plate! It didn't taste like anything and I ended up paying $40 for a partial portion, wet, tastes like nothing dinner and water. They got a couple out of my family For a fact I will NOT be back. It was so dark in there we had to pull out our phones and use the flashlights to read the menus. The reason for 2 stars is two of the people at our table enjoyed, one being the birthday boy. So to keep everything cool I didn't ask for the manager to come over.

This is an authentic Italian restaurant. 5 stars almost the way!…read more We tried the bruschetta the Pico was fresh using Roma tomatoes high quality olive oil, garlic, oregano, and I believe a little balsamic. We split the olde world canzone. How can you tell it is 5 stars? You don't want the gravy that's served on the side. The crust was crisp, flakes, light and enveloped a combo of pepperoni, Italian sausage, fresh mushrooms, ricotta, and mozzarella. As for the sauce, it was an authentic Italian Sunday Gravy that you could taste the chicken bones that were used to make the broth that complimented the tomato base. The herbs that were used to season the Gravy seasoned it well. And the sauce was cooked down. The garlic knots are to die for. They are served topped with a garlic infused oil. And a bowl of parmesean cheese.

This seemed like a nice place, but it was a troubling experience. Ordering a house salad initially…read moregot me a salad with meat in it. The menu didn't go into detail on this so I was genuinely surprised; this does not happen to me often. They said they could fix it, but even the second salad I was sent still had a tiny piece of meat in it. Not wanting to create any more hassle, I had already eaten the actual lettuce and such before I got to it, so I just let it go at that point. For a place that has a vegetarian pasta section on the menu, apparently they need a vegetarian salad section. Clearer labeling and less sloppy execution. Otherwise, my stromboli looked better, but was a bit too heavy on cheese and light on sauce for me. It certainly was a massive portion size and I was not the only one with leftovers. Getting some free garlic knots (not special for me; everyone got some) also helps smooth things over. They had an extensive and impressive dessert spread, but I could not have gotten one down. I always find it tough in these sorts of cases, because I think their actual level of quality is good (better than three stars) but my actual experience was upsettingly bad (worse than three stars), so I split the difference. Maybe I'll find my way back.

After spending the day at Busch Gardens we were all hungry so I started researching local options and found Antonio's restaurant. So glad we did. From the meat lasagna to the shrimp and ziti dishes to the cheese ravioli..all was superb. As another reviewer noted, don't let the fact that's it's located in a shopping plaza with a grocery store and a lot of other businesses side by side deter you.Once you've entered and start eating you'll just imagine yourself in the finest high end Italian restaurant you've ever been to. I told Antonio the owner it was excellent and even better than many of the north end Boston Italian restaurants we've visited over the years...I'm not kidding...you'll swear Antonio's mother and grandmother are back there in the kitchen cooking ...the tomato sauce, garlic knot bread..everything of the most highest quality and flavor..we got the cannolis for desert...excellent..better than Mikes pastry in the north end ...seriously..go there...run there!!!
