4.5 overall, I really like their unique drink selection and they make it fresh with good ingredients right in front of you! The drinks are beautiful, the only downside is the price is a little high, around $6.5~7 a drink, but for the quality I think this is fine! I've tried the rose cream soda, banana espresso, and Sakura matcha latte. The rose cream soda is quite nice, a great balance of fizzy and creamy with a light rose flavor! The banana espresso was super cute and definitely had the banana taste throughout. The Sakura matcha latte also had a nice cherry blossom flavored cream on top mixed with high quality matcha on the bottom. These drinks were all beautiful, a word of caution is that they are NOT sweet! The sweetest one was the cream soda and even that wasn't too sweet. The presentation for all is gorgeous, you can see for yourself! The staff are super friendly and they sell mochi donuts which are pretty good too! My favorite place in Mitsuwa food court!

    Yummy & fresh Mochi donuts!

Can't walk pass by without buying a few goodies, being that I am a huge fan of Mochi donuts! My brother & I were stopping at the Japanese supermarket's food ball for lunch, & I noticed Good Times immediately. I saw the colorful display of a myriad of donuts, and couldn't just buy one. I decided on half a dozen. My favorite ones were fruity pebble & Ube donuts. Fruity pebbles cereal was one of my favorites growing up. And the crunchy & lightly sweet topping was perfect atop the chewy & fluffy Mochi donut. The Ube one was delicious & fresh too! The Asian lady behind the counter was very friendly & was chatting me up too! I'll def return if I am in the area again.

I tried Taiyaki for the first time, it is a fish shape waffle with red bean custard that is lightly sweetened and it turned out to be so much better than I expected. The filling was smooth and creamy, I was worried that it would have been a little bit gritty but it was really delicious and not gritty at all. We tried a few of the mochi donuts and I thought they were really good, my favorite was the fruity pebble and the matcha flavors. The best part about mochi donuts are that they're lightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, these were so good!

I was passing by good times donut and I saw that this was the store front for Là Maison bleue! I was excited to finally see all the different drinks that were offered. I ordered the biscoff cream latte and I thought it was good. There wasn't really a huge distinct biscoff flavor except in the foam. The drink was layered so I wanted to stir it up a bit so I can get all the flavors but when I asked for a straw the worker seemed a little judgemental and told me I can just sip through the lid. Other than that I thought everything was good, and I will definitely be back to try the other drinks when I'm in the area

    Mango Kakigori

ORDER We ordered the Mango Kakigori. I would say it was a little disappointing just because most of it was ice. The flavor of the mango and condensed milk wasn't very incorporated into the dish. Additionally, since it was stacked high with ice, it was rather difficult to mix the flavors as well. However, when mixed with the condensed milk and mango flavor, it is a good dessert. VIBES Good Times Donut is located in Mitsuwa Marketplace Food Court. There's plenty of seating and other places (mainly Japanese) to eat at. Since it is a food court, the place is a little on the louder side, but it's still a great place to hang out with friends and eat to catch up! SERVICE The person that took my order was very nice. She also brought our order out to our table for us!

L-R: Strawberry and Yuzo. $2.35 each, prior to tax, ($4.98 after tax)

Good Times Donut is located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace, right next door to Matsui. While visiting Plano on 2 separate visits (one on January and one in March), I ended up buying a few donuts on both those visits, which included: Strawberry, $2.35, prior to tax- I just love a good mochi donut because it has a nice chew to it, including this one. The donut wasn't oily and the strawberry white chocolate icing was perfectly balanced in sweetness and complimented the donut. Yuzo. $2.35, prior to tax- This mochi donut tasted like lemon but was not artificial and wasn't sour. The glaze was a nice touch. Matcha donut, $2.25 prior to tax- Love the green color of this donut. Perfect flavor of matcha from the matcha icing. Black Sesame donut, $2.35 prior to tax- Probably my favorite flavor, I just love black sesame. The flavors were subtle and really liked that there were actual black sesames on the icing to give it an added texture. ---------------------------- (Total= $9.96 after tax) I ended up also purchasing donuts for my husband's friend, as a gift on one of those visits (different flavors than the one described above). The employee who was helping me seemed kind of annoyed when I told her that 4 donuts were going to be given to someone else and if she could put them in a separate bag. She was insistent in having 6 donuts that I purchased be placed in a box instead, even though I had told her that 2 of those donuts are for me and 4 were for someone else... what was I supposed to do with the 2 donuts from the box? Just hold them? (I wasn't planning on eating both donuts right then and there). I enjoyed the donuts I purchased for myself and if I lived in the nearby area, I would come back. Please note that this little donut place takes credit card and they may run out of some flavors if you come close to closing time (especially on a weekend).

This is my favorite place for mochi donuts because the texture is light, slightly chewy and fluffy. The thin crispy exterior contrasts nicely with the airy insides. The icing flavors are more subtle than other places. To compare, I think other mochi donuts taste and feel more dense like Hawaiian mochi cake instead of Chinese white sugar sponge cake. I highly recommend the yuzu-flavor. The hojicha was yummy but may be too bitter if you're expecting a really sweet tea flavor. I was super excited they had kakigori still in September. The passion fruit kakigori was huge and yummy. The ice was fluffy shards and less milky than the Korean shaved ices. There were layers of passion fruit inside.

It was not giving Mochi Donuts

All the other reviews from 9 months - 1 year ago are all saying otherwise. For my personal and 1st time experience at Good Times Donuts in Mitsuwa - Plano, TX, however, was the complete opposite. We went on a Sunday afternoon, hoping to enjoy some delicious mochi donuts. We ordered half a dozen (3 Ube, 1 yuzu and 2 strawberry) mochi donuts and it was just NOT giving what a mocha donut should taste like. It seemed like the donuts were a day or two days old This was NOT our first time to try mochi donuts, so it was a disappointment for the price paid and for the lack of how a mochi donuts should taste. The consistency of the mochi/tapioca in the donuts were lacking. The icing/glaze were just breaking off the donut when we break apart the pieces. We have tried better mochi donuts. This wasn't it.

Of all the mochi donut places in Dallas, this is probably my favorite one! The mochi texture and different frostings both taste very good together. My favorite flavor is the fruity pebble and hojicha, but I love their strawberry as well! Prices aren't too crazy expensive either. It's located inside the Mitsuwa food court to those having trouble locating it!

Freakin. Delicious. If you've ever been to Paina's in Vegas, this is very comparable. Chewy and super moist. I loved the variety of flavors they offered. Must try if you're wanting yummy mochi donuts.

Both of the donuts were good. The fruity pebbles donut was a bit sweet, but the black sesame donut was just right. The odd thing is the black sesame donut didn't have much black sesame flavor. I could mainly taste the frosting instead of the black sesame. With that being said, I would still go again!

Mochi donuts are a game changer when it comes to what you've been use to!! I've always had love for these kinds of donuts for their airiness and chew. Good Times Donut is located inside the Mitsuwa market, they have many different flavors to choose from. I tried their matcha and hojicha and loved them both very much! If you're ever curious about mochi donuts then give them a try! You will love it!

I literally drive 45 mins just to get these mochi donuts! I've been to Japan many times and these have to be spot on. The only flavors that have been available whenever I go were the same ones so I get the strawberry, fruity pebbles and cocoa pebbles they never disappoint for sure!

Buying a dozen donuts for $29 dollars isn't worth it. Krispy Kreme's are more special than mochi donuts.
