Valerie is professional, courteous, and highly responsive. We trust her completely and only have amazing things to say about her and the care of our cat. Prior to our first cat sitting arrangement, Valerie came to our home to meet our cat and get a feel for the cat's needs. We really appreciated this! Since that time, we have called upon Valerie to cat sit for short trips as well as extended vacations. She has always been able to fit us in, even during busy holiday times. Moreover and perhaps more importantly, our cat seems to be happy upon our return. We have found the Comfy Pets rates to be quite reasonable, too. We typically opt for a 15 minute visit on one day, followed by a longer visit (for more playtime with the cat) on the following day. Valerie always puts together an explicit contract which lays out fees/expectations. Again, I think this speaks to her high degree of professionalism and work ethic. She also gives us an update or two about our cat while we are gone, and we've loved this extra bit of information as it helps put us at ease! It can be hard leaving your pet, but please know that Valerie is fantastic and trustworthy. I highly recommend her!

When we called they immediately said to come in. We headed over immediately, and the experience was so amazing and professional. Have never been seen so quickly and allowed to be right there as our little guy was being checked out. Dr. Mensak and staff were truly incredible. Immediately gave him oxygen and subsequently diagnosed with pneumonia. I've never experienced such compassion. This staff was on it, they explained every detail of what they were seeing/doing. Keeping the family in the loop and allowing us to be right there is everything. They never hesitated to answer any questions and made us feel so comfortable. So Grateful and thankful for the care You gave to our boy and us. Thank you Dr. Mensak and your wonderful staff. Truly grateful.

I've had pets all my life. I know I've been to some of the very best vets on the east coast. (And…read moresome not so good ones.) But I can say honestly that I've never seen a more talented, knowledgeable, caring and empathetic group of people than I saw at Guardian Vet Group. I am 100% sure my cat would have died had I taken him anywhere else. The 1st vet I saw that day predicted Ace would be dead within an hour or 2. The only positive thing she did was give me Guardian's number. HE WAS TRIAGED THE MINUTE WE WALKED IN. They were gentle and kind to me and to him. I was able to stay by his side. They made me aware of every procedure and all results. They answered every question I had. They also made sure I was ok with the cost at every turn. Yes, it was/is very expensive, but he received 2 blood transfusions in the ICU and dozens of tests and hours of one-on-one care. We were there 4 times over 3 days for no less than 6 hours and as long as 13 hours. He was fighting to live, so I felt he deserved every chance I could give him. These people performed a miracle. Miracles aren't cheap. Every minute I was there, my cat received constant care and I felt supported. I was on the ER side of the practice, but they do take routine appointments on the other side of the building. I hope I don't need the ER again, but it's reassuring to know they are there and that ALL THE VETS (I saw 4 or 5 of them) are excellent, caring and super-talented!

We left our 2 dogs for 4 nights over Thanksgiving. We called to check on them and were told that they were doing great. The dogs were kenneled separately, however we were told that they were let out in the run together and were playing. We called to ask if the video cameras could be turned on because we wanted to view them while we were away, the kennel never called us back. When we picked them up we were told that the older dog (13) was aggressive to staff and was never allowed out of the kennel, which conflicted with what we were told on the phone. He has a big (silver dollar sized) lesion on his face and a chipped tooth that is right under the lesion, as though he was kicked. This will require veterinary treatment. This dog has never been aggressive towards people. Both dogs had lost a considerable amount of weight. A very disappointing and scary experience.
