After a rewarding volunteer day at SEEDS of St. Louis, a group of about 10 coworkers and I headed…read moreover to Narrow Gauge Brewing Company to relax and unwind. Narrow Gauge has a great microbrewery vibe, and the beer selection was impressive--everyone in our group found something different to try. I went with a 16 oz Mullanphy's, an Irish-style red ale, and it really hit the spot. Smooth, flavorful, and exactly what I was looking for after a long day. Since we had worked up an appetite, we ordered food from Cugino's Italian Restaurant next door, which pairs perfectly with the brewery setup. It made for a seamless experience--great beer and great food without having to go far. What stood out just as much as the drinks was the service. The manager on duty was attentive and made sure our group was taken care of, which added to the overall positive experience. All in all, it was a great way to wrap up the day. I'd definitely recommend Narrow Gauge for anyone looking for quality craft beer and a laid-back atmosphere.

The brewery is very comfortable with a variety of seating options. There is the bar, high tops and couches. They have a variety of games available, along with some pinball machines. I had a cider - an apricot cider, a unique blend from a Colorado cider. They have merchandise and beer to go, which my husband did buy some to go. They have chips and pretzels, but food can be ordered and delivered from local establishments. A great place to stop in if in the area.

Elevated casual atmosphere that is super family friendly. We sat at a table in the main dining area, which also had a large bar with nice plush chairs. Plenty of TVs on mute if you want to check in on a sports game. Service was 11/10 - seamless, well paced, and very friendly staff Food was 4.5/5 - pretzels, brat, schnitzel were all delicious, best schnitzel Ive had outside of Germany Sadly the apple strudel dessert fell flat (seemed like it was on day 3, soggy pastry and a bit chilled like it was pulled from the fridge and microwaved) Plenty of fun German and Austrian classics, amazing beer, full bar with tasty cocktails, winning atmosphere and excellent service. Definitely worth a visit (or two or 10)

Friendly, welcoming and attentive. I was confused on beers so he let me have a mini tasting of light beers. I'm not sure which one I went with but I believe he said either the house helles or schankbier. Either way they both were tart and bland tasting . Stronger than a cider and a beer. I wasn't sold . For food I ordered the smash burger and fries. It came out fresh and hot but it was just ok! The ambiance of the building is what sold me. The elegance and high ceilings i absolutely loved. They also have the brewery inside the building to gawk and gaze at which was pretty neat. Building was well lit and plenty of seating. I attached the days and hrs of operation and a couple of menu options.

We were greeted by the owner, Lauren. During the event, we were housed in the newly renovated event space. Perfect for intimate events. There was this sort of cheese dip that we ate - all I know is that it had corn in it and spices, but everyone went back for seconds! It was good! (Put it as a regular menu option *wink wink*). Live music, photo ops, and a tour of the brewery where all the magic happens. Lauren led the tour and when I tell you she is knowledgeable, she is very knowledgeable! To learn about their inception makes me appreciate it even more. Go check them out!

++++ food ++++ family atmosphere…read more The food here is delicious! I ended up getting the LW burger with pub cheese and it came with shoe string fries, the burger was thick and juicy, while the shoe string fries with garlic aioli as my sauce was, perfect! This is a pretty good family atmosphere, they have high top tables but also had high top high chairs! A real positive in our book, haven't ran into many restaurants that have this option. I would suggest if you have little ones to order your food when they take your drinks because the service can be hit or miss depending on the time you go, and food can take a little longer than expected. So get the little ones ordered in first and then decide on the adults.

I only saw two high top tables for two people and they were in corners. So we sat in a corner on backless stools. Stools in restaurants should have backs!Pretty uncomfortable and we won't do that again. It also has really high ceilings so it got pretty loud in there. Our server was Erin and she was good! The place was packed inside and outside (in the rain - there were umbrellas over the tables) so the staff was super busy. She kept the drinks and food coming at a good pace. We started off with drinks and onion rings. We had been told how good the onion rings were so we had to order them - they lived up to the hype! I'm not a beer drinker, but my husband is. He had three different ones and didn't really enjoy any of them. He tried Tidewater Plains, Master of the Universe, and Batholith. I had a Jungleberg cocktail and liked it so much, I ordered another one. The server said they were out of them. There were five ingredients in the drink so I have no idea what they were out of. I ordered a Spicy Ancho Margarita and it was okay. It shouldn't be called spicy, because it is not. I ordered Chicken Wings and Onion Soup. Yes, it was summer. But it was cold and rainy and soup sounded good! The soup was very good - very cheesy and they didn't put a chunk of bread in there to get all soggy, which I appreciated. The wings were okay. They were way too saucy for me. My husband got the Philly and said it was okay, but nothing special. I would have probably given 3.5 stars, but that is not an option. I'd go back for the onion rings!

It's hands down our favorite location! The wood-fired pizza is always delicious, and the beer selection is fantastic. My go-to is the Hazy 636, while my husband never passes up a Helias. We love bringing our boys (they love the mocktails), grabbing a pizza and a couple of beers, playing cards, and just slowing down together. The atmosphere is what keeps us coming back. There's a beautiful indoor space with garage doors that open up when the weather is nice, plus plenty of outdoor seating surrounded by the scenic beauty of Defiance. We've visited the St. Charles and Wildwood locations too, and they're both great, but there's just something special about the views and peaceful setting at the Defiance location that makes it our favorite. The service at all the locations have been top notch Whether you're stopping after a ride on the Katy Trail, planning a casual date, or spending time with family, this place never disappoints.

We ordered pizza, chicken wings, and a pretzel with cheese. Everything was pretty good and hit the spot after being out in the cold. The patio also had a live band playing, which created a really fun atmosphere. Overall it was a lively place with good food and a great vibe, especially on a busy event day.

Reasonably priced pints, and they accept Craft-tapped app. Today we enjoyed their signature hazy IPA, Constant Clockwork (44 IBU, 6.6 ABV), really good local brew! And since we were headed to KY, we got takeout (25oz) on their version of "Show Me Kentucky" (20 IBU, 5.8 ABV) common beer. Both were excellent and EZ to drink!! And our bartender was very conversational, fun and insightful. We did not order food today, but think they serve a few snacks or pizza. We'll come back again to try next time. Also, you can join their "club" as well as order your "custom, hand-made wooden stein" to keep on their shelf - not cheap tho. If you're looking for a good local brew spot, this one is definitely worth a visit! ENJOY!!
