The spa was very relaxing and beautifully decorated with a cute faux fireplace and Christmas tree. My pedicure was amazing. Great customer service, but expensive and confusing prices. I came in to get my nails done for the first time in over a year and got a gel full set done by Eva. I had come to this nail salon only once before several years ago and my nails lasted over 3 weeks without any breaks for only $60 so I was expecting this set to last about 2-3 weeks. This past visit cost $80! The nails were beautiful and I did have three gems and three simple flowers on each ring finger so I assumed that was why the price was so high and went ahead and paid the full price. Well, barely 8 days later I had a nail break putting away dishes and another break two days later while out shopping. I reached out to the person that did my nails, Eva, and she was very helpful and scheduled me an appointment to get them both fixed. Eva's amazing customer service is what will make me give them a second chance the next time I have a special event and would like to get my nails done. Overall the nails were beautiful, but didn't last near as long as I'd like for the price I paid. The prices listed online for a gel or acrylic full set start at $35 and up so I'm so confused as to why it racked up to $80. (Perhaps $35 for the full set, $5 for shaping each hand to almond shaped nails and $5 each design for all six gems and flowers. That's my best guess at least). If you have the extra money, the designs and customer service are amazing, but not the best quality for the price. read more

I called on Memorial Day hoping to come in for a pedicure and I was very surprised at how soon they could get me in. When I arrived, the salon was dead. I was the only customer and it actually had me very relaxed. Eva was my technician and she was very easy to talk to and took her time on my pedicure. I was recommended this salon and came in with several in grown toe nails that were causing me pain. Eva easily took them all out. Although, I was left bleeding and a bit swollen for a few days. After the relief settled in, I was fine and was much more comfortable. I also got my eyebrows threaded! I haven't found a salon that did threading as well so I jumped at the opportunity. I will say, their threading/waxing room does not look as clean as the rest of the salon. I was a bit hesitant about laying down and just the experience in general. My eyebrows turned out great but I don't think I'd do it again due to the vibe of the room. The salon is pretty spacious and the prices are comparable to many other salons in Elk Grove. I would coke back just to see Eva since she did such a great job with my in grown toe nails. read more

I decided to try this salon because it was next door to my massage station. Tina dud a wonderful job on my pedicure. She took her time and was very patient as I had informed them I am diabetic and cannot take any risks with my feet. I enjoyed so much that I made an appointment to go back and have my nails done. My manicure lady treated me dismissively like she wasn't in the mood to work today. No smile, sweetness, not much personality. It was only about 11 when I came, did she have a long day already? I had to tell her more than once to cut my nails shorter. I decided I pay too much money for my gel nails here..25$ plus 4$ take off (this is the 1st place in 3 salons that charge me for take off!) to be treated like I am a bother to work on. In the end the nails look fine, but I feel I deserve I can be pampered better by someone else. And 4$ take off was just unneccesary nickle n' diming. My pedi lady was sweet, funny & personable. From start to finish I didn't doubt she did a thorough, perfect job on my toesies. She took her time like she wasn't flippin chairs on me rushing for her next buck. I was already thinking throughout the appt that I wanted to find out her name & make sure I come back for her each time. WRONG! After going home and looking at my nails up close in the light I realized the polish was sloppy & some of my skin had polish on it. And today, a mere 1 day later my polish is CHIPPING! Wow. All that time she took patiently polishing my nails, even with her glasses on & an extra light on my feet & she couldn't paint them on my nails only? She had to piant my skin too??? CHIPPING?? What in sam hill? Ai ya! Well, at least the huge painted Asian mural was beautiful. At least the asian type music made me feel like I was transported to China. At least the massage chair was sweet. At least the place felt clean & updated. But, I came for a great service & to be at peace that for at least 3 weeks my nails n toes are beautiful & close to perfect. I'd give this place a 4 because I really do like coming here... but my recent experience with my gel manicure... it lost a star. Usually I come here & I've been pretty satisfied. A few days ago I came with my two sister in-laws for a mani & pedi. There's turned out pretty good. My pedicure turned out decent but my gel manicure turned out terrible. Its less than a week in and the gel nails are already peeling. I don't know if its the nail polish or the way the lady did it but it sure was a waste of 25 dollars because... my two sister in laws got regular manicures and theirs is lasting longer than my gel manicure. Went in today with my sister for pedis. We had scheduled an appointment and they were very punctual. We chose the tropical pedis which happen to be their best one. Everything for the most part was good but I was expecting more and unfortunately they didn't deliver. First off the water was rather cold. Then it seemed like my time with the hot stones was very minimal. And finally the massage it self was too soft in my opinion.
