This is my #1 Nail Salon pick in Elk Grove. Why? 1) #1 in Customer Service - always a happy voice answering their phone. Always easy to schedule an appointment that works for everyone. 2) #1 in long-lasting NAIL DIP Manicures(can last well over a month - and I wash dishes WITHOUT gloves 3) Amazing pedicures with all the botanical ingredients. Most-relaxing pedi massage EVER(from Nail Tech - Sandy), and toes looking way better than when you came in with. 4) Super Clean and organized 5) No ghetto arguments with ghetto customers. Everyone who walks in is legit and all the Nail Techs seem to be classy professionals. 6) Easy Breezy parking and easy to find. 7) Great A/C in the hot summer! 8) Just SO PEACEFUL! It's truly an oasis for me. Sandy is the Nail Tech I always ask for because she does QUALITY work. She is gentle and strong when she needs to be for those areas that need more attention. She does THE BEST NAIL DESIGNS I've EVER GOTTEN, and I always tell her she has the sturdy hands of a surgeon!!! If she doesn't like what she did, she will start again just to make sure she's happy with what she gives you. My daughter, under 10-yrs-old comes with me and gets a pedi once in awhile too, and loves going to GG Nails as well. We have experienced Jennifer as a Nail Tech before too, and an older gentleman. Been back twice to Jeannie and she held it down every time! I wanted French gold tips for a wedding I was attending and they turned out soooo good! The gold chrome matched all the gold accents for my outfits. And then I just came to get a full set redone as it was like 2 months later. This time I wanted pink ombré and then Jeannie made the suggestion to add translucent chrome on top and omg it came out soooo pretty! The perfect summer girly vibez! read more

Came in on a Wednesday at around 5:30 and asked for a fill and pedicure. It was really slow as I was the only customer the entire time and even until they closed. I had outgrown almond shaped acrylic nails done on my fingers from another shop and wanted to pop in here as it was more convenient for me this day. The nail tech proceeded to tell me that my nails were dip powder and completely dismissed that it wasn't the usual method I do for my fills. She said it's the same, every shop does it differently...??? Hmm okay. I went with regular white polish on my toes and while that was drying, the tech did my nails. It probably took about 25 minutes to do the "fill" and I kid you not, I have never had a tech be so unprepared. The shaping was supposed to be the same as I had, almond. It was chunky and round. Her prep work was really lacking. She didn't even buff or clean up after "filling" so when she applied the polish, it was not smooth. AND she had me cure it under the lamps. So the other tech came by and saw that it was so uneven, she refiled my nails and just spot painted over the parts that were filed away. Horrible. The paint was chunky and has air bubbles but it was also close to closing time now. And as I get up to leave, my toes were still not dry. Their paint was tacky and sticky. She said to come back the next day to get that repainted but I just did not have time and ended up painting it at home myself.. Waste of time and horrible service. Next time, don't offer professional service if your tech is not ready. We are paying customers!! read more

Great place that treats you well. Ventured out to a new place by Costco because of a provided gift certificate, I will never go back there as it nothing short of a production line experience. GG nails is just the opposite! My experience at GH Nails has always been wonderful with their goal to provide the service you are paying for and not a TIMED experience monitored by a supervisor that cares only about $$$. My girl went to do her nails for the first time here since her usual salon was not available. Took them almost 2 hours and for a basic mani and pedi and they manage to screw up. Toe nails didn't dry right after 30 min. Finger nails wasn't prepped so paint dried thick as hell and looks ugly as hell. just came in this morning and had a good experience. place looked clean and i love how there was cold bottle waters and snack. also they offered us hot coffee because it was @9:30. awesome!!! wanted to try a jelly pedicure to treat ourselves and our family has wedding coming up. jelly pedicures are $55. it was nice because they didnt rush us and we got to relax. the chairs looked really new and also the massage part was strong so it helped. upon check out we get little souvenirs which was cute and said they offer earlier appointments if needed. read more

I got my daughter a $60 gift card for Christmas, but when I took her to redeem the gift card, we had a really bad experience. These are the nails she left with and they asked for $5 more dollars and cut her so deep. I do not recommend this nail salon anymore. I need to take her tomorrow after school to remove these. read more

Well ... normally I get a good pedicure but this time it was fast and my friend and I kept being bothered by the lady doing her Pedi she told her she didn't want gel many times and kept interrupting us. She just wanted a regular nail polish, I wanted the gel I told her from the beginning we didn't get a massage it was fast and we paid $70. Unbelievable I will never go there again I just go there for the convenience because it's close by but I was very disappointed although all the other workers are very nice. Somehow I always get stuck with that lady and I probably won't go just because of her. both my friend and I live in Stonelake and I told her that I go because it's clean and it's right down the street I'm embarrassed to find another place. that lady just makes the whole experience so uncomfortable. read more

Best nail shop in the Sacramento area. All of the technicians are kind. Been going here for almost 10 years. So many pedicure options. Sandy stays up on the newest designs and techniques. I absolutely love it here. I live 30 minutes away and I will always come here. It's very clean and always prompt on appointments. I can show a picture and get exactly what I want. And again the pedicures are A1. My feet always feel so soft. Plus Sandy gives me tips on how to maintain the softness. read more

I had the WORST pedicure. I came in and the lady said have a seat turned the water on and then continued to scrub her own feet for 5 minutes in the chair next to me. Didn't put any scrub salts or anything in the water nor turn the jets on. Put some clear polish over my toes then dumped powder over claiming to make nails healthier? Didn't cut my cuticles or even asked the service I wanted or show prices and charged me 40 dollars? I was there for 15 mins in total. Absolutely horrible. read more

Called in for a mani pedi date with husband. Walked in they asked what kind of pedicure. We scanned the QR code and went with the European pedicure which was $35. Well, I'll just say this much. It's been 7 minutes and they are pretty much done. I asked them - 'that's it'? And they said yes. Then began speaking in their language between each other. They didn't push down my cuticles, she just burned me with the towel. I'm done. Never again. Now she's aggressively cutting my cuticles because I asked her why is he didn't do it during the pedicure itself. She better not cut me. Didn't even do the manicure. What a waste. Next day update - husbands tor hurts from being trimmed too low! You'd think as a mail place with first time customers, trying to build their 'new name' they'd do better! I honestly cannot believe they called that 7 minute bathtub a pedicure!!! read more

Second time I've been to this salon now and I came 6/4 to get a full set, after getting a full service my thumb nails started bubbling up and I was not doing anything crazy that day besides driving. I'm always very careful with my nails, not even 2 hours later my thumbs were so bad. I had to go back luckily I had more time in my day to and they re did my thumbs, which I appreciated. But even when I got there I had to wait just to have my nails fixed! And then on Friday not even 2 weeks with the nails I lost a nail. And today I lost another, I've never had nails NOT LAST 2 weeks! I was going there for about 10 years as i live in the area but the unpredictable pricing drove me away. I decided to give them a try again after 10 years at a different salon since ownership changed and I had a great experience for several months. However, the last time I went my nail tech offered something I could not understand, despite asking to repeat 3x. He finally said "something beautiful" which I thought meant a different color. However, when I went to pay, it was a $50 acrylic nail set that was previously $40 and looked no different or better. My good friend/neighbor also frequents the salon and recently had a negative experience bringing a friend for a pedicure and she was unknowingly upsold and charged an extra $20 at check-out. Shady business always trying to up-sell without the customer understanding your intent to charge more. GOOD LUCK surviving when you dont treat your existing/loyal customers with upfront pricing and respect. read more

Jade was very patient with the whole process and pulled out all the stops. This nail color is the Sapphire Blue Cat Eye as the base. She used a thin nail brush to paint the black swirls and gold glitter accents. I witnessed a gold chroma being applied too (it was like a magic show)! The center nail uses the Pearl Cat Eye color with a vertical ombré using the same Sapphire Blue from my other nails. Jade glued on the water drop shaped gemstone as the center piece. Jade really went above and beyond to achieve the custom look I was seeking. All I did was show her the inspiration picture and she really brought it to life! In total from start to finish, it took ~ 2 hours to complete the manicure. The results definitely show!!! I recorded a video so you can see the cat eye shimmer effect. The music was relaxing instrumentals of popular songs and everyone was good about cleaning in between services or steps. This is a great salon to bring your design inspirations to life. I do plan to return the next time I want a specific design done. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is my own preferences on symmetrical French tips, which is a really challenging thing to do. That does not change how beautiful these nails are and that I will definitely be coming back for manicures here.

They both did such a great quality job but also in what i thought was quick timing. I was there for probably 90minutes total. Thats great timing considering I did get a custom manicure set. Tammy is the girl that does all the designs so I got so lucky being paired with her because i really wanted something a little festive for Christmas. She really pulled it off. Tammy has to remove another salon's dip full set and she was amazing - gentle but foul to get those old nails removed. She trimmed up my natural nails evenly before adding the new set. Loved the attention to length and shape she gave me - square with rounded edges. I added a little glitter too which is hard to see in the pics. Lisa was amazing on the pedicure also!!! I didn't know I could get a champagne until it was almost time to go - but next time bring on the bubbly!!! I can't wait to come back! So relaxing and welcoming vibe.
