Great coffee and great atmosphere. There's room to work if you want to come here and get some things done. The employees are very pleasant and helpful! Highly recommend

I came upon Good Karma Cafe recently along the way to a doctor's appointment and the inviting look of the place, coupled with my love of coffee, invited me to give it a try, and I've become a semi-regular ever since. Upon entering the cafe, I was pleased with the set-up and the look of the place. With nature-friendly decor and smart seating areas, Good Karma has a calming ambience. Their menu consists of many tempting items, all of which are on the healthy side of things, including many vegan and vegetarian options, as well. Though I have yet to try any of their food items, yet, I have partaken in several equally appealing and healthy items off their drink menu. I love their coffee, and they make a mean chai latte, but their smoothies have slowly become my favorite choices, especially the Karma Chameleon and Chocolate Banana Soy. In all of my visits to Good Karma, the servers have all been welcoming as well, not only to me, but to every other customer, too! Just another reason to love this place.

A friend and I went to Good Karma Cafe on a rainy Sunday morning. It's a little tight inside especially around the counter/ordering area, but once we were up to the counter and placed our orders and luckily grabbed a table, it felt very cozy and comfortable. I got the popeye on an everything bagel- it was a good size and tasted healthy. My friend got the salmon bagel which was huge, and did not skimp on the cream cheese which I love. I got a coconut latte which did come out after my food but it was ok because it was delicious. The bathroom inside was also cute and clean, which I appreciate in an eatery.

I stopped by Good Karma this morning for coffee and a small breakfast bite. The location is very easy to find from their signage and a large mural to the right of the storefront. They have a few seats outside and even some available inside (YAY!). There is a large menu above the counter with an assortment of coffees, teas, espresso drinks, and food items. I opted to try the Lavender Latte because I overheard someone in front of me order it and it sounded great. I am a huge fan of Oat Milk so I was excited to learn that they had that on the menu too! To eat, I tried the Power Bowl which consisted of scrambled eggs, turkey sausage & bacon, spinach, cheddar cheese, and everything seasoning. I ordered it to go and by the time I got home the cheese was melty and delicious. The portion was on the smaller size, but it was exactly what I was looking for this morning! The staff was very friendly, the space was very clean, and I loved to see that it is pet friendly inside! Knowing that I could come by with one of my pups and spend a few hours working is very enticing.

It's been awhile since I've had a great iced latte. I got a 16 oz. honey vanilla iced latte, it was really good. It was sweet enough to my liking. The establishment has inside seating, as well as a outside patio. We sat outside, it was aesthetically pleasing and had a lot of seating for you catch up on some work or to chat with friends. I can't wait to go back and try some food options.

I love Good Karma. The thing with all their shops in Philly; they are consistently great! The staff is always over and beyond amazing! The coconut iced coffees or lavenders coffees are my go to's. The cool as a cucumber starts my weekends right. Their seasonal drinks are great! When it is pumpkin season, you gotta get their pumpkin chai (iced). You'll thank me later. Go give them a visit at any of their locations, you will enjoy it!

The colonial mustard sandwich was a 10 out of 10. The service was amazing!! This is my first time stopping at a coffee shop in Philadelphia and I will definitely be back.

Love Good Karma Cafe! Great selection of food and drinks- not just coffee. I personally love their smoothies and iced teas. I've been lucky enough to find seating every time I go and there's even a back courtyard when the weather is nice. The service is always fast and excellent. Only complaint is that the matcha is pre-sweetened.

Best matcha latte in this area for sure !! Great food options too if ur hungry. Def going to be our new spot

Iced chai on a warm spring day
    Bekke S.

Another warm spring day called for a cool treat, so we decided to pick up some 'good karma' and visit this spot. The inside is a little small, but still a room of 6-8 tiny tables and a bar along a windowed wall that could seat about 5. There are a few tables outside, too. So if it's a nice day maybe don't super count on grabbing a spot, but still come on in! There were two baristas on duty and they kept the small line moving pretty well. There were maybe two pastries left in the case which was a bummer. We did come in around 2 pm, so I guess it's you snooze you lose. (If I had docked a star it only would have been for that. Would have loved a croissant or something!) I got an iced chai with soy milk and whipped cream and it was divine. My friend got an hot latte with something floral (she thinks lavender) and the barista making it really went above and beyond in their communication. Here's what she had to say: "The latte itself was good. Just sweet enough. But the floral taste was very intense. Too intense. And a little artificial. And I usually like floral, but this wasn't great. I don't regret the risk!"

Due to COVID my normal coffe shop work flow as been interrupted. Then the other day my wife visited GK and was on cloud 9 about this location. So we de Decided to pack our bags and take a bike ride and work from the shop. Everything she had to say lived up to the hype! they had outdoor seating in the front but the real magic happened when they directed me to outdoor seating in the back. A cozy spot with an amazing environment. Pair that with great coffee and Chai tea, it was a great spot to get some stuff done on a nice day. Definitely Gonna keep coming back to support this place during these tough times.

I don't think I've ever visited an an hour where I've seen it not. Often a line going from the counter, down the stairs, all the way to the bathroom. If you're looking for a quick coffee stop, don't expect to be in and out of here. That being said, they've got some kinds of seating not typical of coffee shops, including this nice long U-shaped couch seating. You'll be around with other folks reading or enjoying their joe, but it's a nice change of pace. Working-wise, wi-fi is solid. Outlets are sparse. Hard to stay a long time here. Music is at least at a tolerable level to tune out and is not usually too bumping. Staff here are quick, but won't be the friendliest. They won't be rude either. They're just trying to get through the line so don't take it personally Overall: would much prefer other places like Capital One Cafe for the reasons I visit cafes, but I can see this being a nice place for other more leisurely-natured visits!

It is a very small shop, so there are only a few tables inside, along with a few outside depending on the weather. Although small, the interior is clean and cozy. A single restroom is available. The drinks are delicious - definitely recommend their matcha. The pastries are huge, flavorful, and filling. Slightly dry but I did go right before closing. They have a nice variety of flavors (both sweet and savory), so most palettes will be satisfied. Prices are definitely fair. If I weren't just a traveler passing through, this would easily become a regular spot for me. It's at least on the "must return to" list! 10/10 recommend.

We braved negative degree weather for the roughly 10 minute walk from our hotel. We walked in at a good time. This is the type of place where a reservation for breakfast would be required. We were sat immediately. The dining area is tight. A green velvet bench, marble tables, metal chairs, all packed into a small area. You could very well have your butt brush over the table of the patrons next to you if you have to get up for any reason. It's tight. Our server was around quickly. He was super friendly and kept things conversational, light and sophisticated. My wife ordered an iced latte, I had their hot drip coffee. For a starter, we had to try the cinnamon knot bread. While it wasn't what we were expecting, it was good. Although, we wouldn't order again. The bread is presented as a small loaf, room temperature with a cold cream cheese icing drizzled over top. The bread had a mild cinnamon flavor and was dry. It lacked the sweet, moist dough you expect from a cinnamon bread. My wife ordered the French style omelet. This had gruyere cheese and chives. Beautifully plated, perfectly cooked and the taste was spot on. It was good enough to forget that she paid $21 for just an omelet, no meat, no sides. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Pretty standard here. The eggs had bright orange yolks which is common for farm fresh eggs. The "coffee" hollandaise didn't come across with a coffee flavor but it was rich and went well with the ham and English muffins. One thing that stuck with me was their drip coffee. Not sure if it has been a while since I had a light roast but the Rival Bros. Revolver coffee was so good, I got a bag of whole beans to bring back home with me. I may even order it again online. Enswell succeeded on all fronts. The ambiance and service was great. The decor, impeccable. The food, thoughtful and tasty. The details from the silverware to the plates added to the experience. We would come back.

I'd much rather come back for a simple fried egg combo and chedda cheese. I was also offered sparkling water, but I do wish it had more fizz. The service start to finish was superb in friendly and fast service. I'd come back for mimosa/bar for sure.
