I was excited to get their Mexican Hot Chocolate but it was very runny and didn't have enough spices in it. It sort of tasted like drinking swiss miss with a bit of cinnamon in it. The cup had the drink all over it and the barista didn't care to clean it up. Ambiance is nice.

Great coffee, my latte tasted great. I ordered a grilled cheese with tomato and was extremely disappointed, though. Cheddar cheese was flavorless, and bread was pressed in a panini with absolutely no butter. A little would've gone a long way. It was 17 something plus a tip, which was $21 and some change. The sandwich was inedible. Glad I brought an uncrustable for lunch. I ate that instead. Would recommend their coffee, though, for sure

I have come in here everyday! Mostly because it's convenient to where I'm staying but also all around great coffee shop. I have friend the maple honey bee latte and blueberry matcha latte! Both incredible!

I had a cappuccino and a breakfast burrito, and I was blown away by the quality! All of the staff were so friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy, festive, and welcoming. One of my favorite coffee shop experiences I've ever had!

I keep coming to this amazing little shop. Food is clean and fresh and delicious. Service always is on point.

I've been to Passero's four times in the past two weeks, but I only have two pictures because I never pause to take them! My favorite things are... - the chicken dumpling soup: the dumplings have that perfect doughy texture you're looking for in a dumplings soup dumpling. - the peanut butter chocolate bar: it's a luxe Reese's and not as sweet, not much else to be said! - the veggie cream cheese: when I tell you I bought a soup container of this stuff, I am not exaggerating. I don't know what they put in it to make it so good, but it is SO GOOD. - the staff. They're really just so friendly. Tip them!! I'm really happy I found this place. As a non-coffee drinker, I've never felt loyal to a cafe before, but now I do.

My family and I were in Philly for a World Cup match and decided to stop in for a chai latte and a coffee. There was a short line, and when it was our turn, we were greeted by the sweetest employee. She was incredibly welcoming, patient, and took the time to explain the different coffee blends they offered. We ended up getting the Colombia blend, which my husband absolutely loved. Now, why do I regret coming here? Because this was, without a doubt, the BEST chai latte I have ever had in my life. It completely ruined every other chai latte for me. The bar has been set so high that every chai I've had since has been a disappointment. I can't wait to make it back to Philly!

Inside AC is blasting (in a good way) so if you run cold, bring your jacket! I don't think the chairs are that comfy to stay long, and not very suitable to have a coffee yap with friends. If you buy their coffee beans (which is so economical!!) you'll get a free drink of choice!! I had their pumpkin spice latte w oat milk and it was tasty! Not overtly sweet and tasted like autumn and crunchy leaves! The staff seemed very nice and knowledgeable, not pretentious!

It is a very small shop, so there are only a few tables inside, along with a few outside depending on the weather. Although small, the interior is clean and cozy. A single restroom is available. Parking is on the street. Mild noise level. They have a good amount of drink options, including rotating specials, as well as pastries, bread, and misc items like granola and coffee beans. The drinks are delicious - definitely recommend their matcha. The pastries are huge, flavorful, and filling. Slightly dry but I did go right before closing. They have a nice variety of flavors (both sweet and savory), so most palettes will be satisfied. Prices are definitely fair. If I weren't just a traveler passing through, this would easily become a regular spot for me. It's at least on the "must return to" list! 10/10 recommend.

The drink was really sweet and tasted good, but I think I've officially decided I'm not a matcha fan lol. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but the inside is kinda tight, so I wouldn't go with a large group. I'd go again, but next time I'd try a non-matcha drink!

Just with the potatoes and omelette alone was a ginormous portion. It also came with toast of my choice. I got the Spanish omelette without mushrooms. Don't judge me for eating my eggs with ketchup, please! I liked how the eggs tasted but not so much for the potatoes. I found them too greasy. I also wish my basket of jellies came with more marmalade!! Still, the food and the service turnaround time was phenomenal given the volume of diners in the restaurant. If I'm back in the area again, I would love to try out their pancakes and waffles. The ones eaten by other diners looked delicious!

Each morning, I visited this café during my last visit and enjoying a cup of hot chocolate both times. One of the first things I noticed as I walked into the café was the atmosphere. It felt welcoming! My hot chocolate had the smooth richness and was great to start the morning off. There were plenty of tables to sit at in the morning. The style of the café was great with a modern and clean, yet warm enough to make those early morning hours seem somewhat purposeful, and not as rushed as they could be! If you're looking for breakfast options, it is slightly limited at this café. There were some muffins and baked goods available. My experience with El Café in The Hilton Mōttō was very good overall. I enjoyed the hot chocolate. It was rich, smooth and perfect comfort in the morning on the go. The customer service was also great! They were friendly, helpful and welcoming. I bopped down from my room, grabbed some drinks, then went back up to my room for little iced coffees in bed. They even had a vegan food option: a coconut yogurt parfait. But is this a destination spot in Philadelphia for coffee? No. I'd still recommend it if someone was specifically staying here; but, also there's genuinely innnncredible coffee shops nearby.
