Was in Philly for a work trip and stopped in here a few times to grab my morning coffee. First things first, the employees are super kind! The second morning I went in, the employee remembered my name and order which warmed my soul. I ordered a hot dirty chai latte and it was superior!!!! Definitely recommend trying it out if you like cinnamony, creamy coffee. I also got their chocolate croissant, which was baked fresh in the morning and that was as also really good. Their breakfast sandwiches look delish, but they run out super quick. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

Solid coffee, 9/10 on my coffee scale. I went in 30 minutes before closing and spent a while resting and was not rushed. Obviously this place would've been my default go to spot had they existed when I lived here.

I got the blash dirty chai latte (strawberry chai latte) and my daughter got latte. Both drinks were not tasty and didn't have nice espresso taste. The dirty chai latte has lots of syrup no taste of strawberry at all. I hardly could drink the whole cup and it was really pricey. Will never stop by at this coffee shop again. Dunkin has better taste and quality. But ı wanted to support small local cafe shops. Anyways , the only nice thing was the barista's making nice image on the lattes. The location is also nice because it is near the nice shopping areas.

I stopped in during lunch on a weekday - it was pretty empty but a cute space with some seating up by the window and in another room towards the back. I was promptly greeted by the friendly employee who also answered my questions about the specialty drinks - I asked if they were very sweet and he said about 8/10 but he said he would make it to what sweetness I wanted. Much appreciated! I went with the specialty latte cupids arrow - he prepared it very quickly and it looked and tasted great (not too sweet!)! He let me know the specialty drinks were about to rotate so I'll be back to check out the new ones soon.

Absolutely loved this cafe! We stopped by on our way for a day of shopping and it was the best decision. I really wish I would have remembered our coffee order but the menu has options for all coffee lovers. They also have a few baked goods that go perfect with your coffee (or tea). There's seating at the front of the cafe and more tables with seats in the back area. Customer service was great and I'm definitely adding this spot to my favs list!

I'm in town on business and needed a good coffee shop. After searching around the hotel I'm staying at, I found that Black Turtle Coffee had great reviews. Even though there were only a few comments, it still looked amazing. Both the ambiance and the coffee selection were impressive. When I walked in, I encountered an extremely friendly staff and spoke to one of the co-owners. The drink that I ordered was a cold brew with sugar-free caramel and a cold foam topped with black sea salt, called the Zeppelin Cold Brew. I would highly recommend stopping by if you are in town, heading off of Walnut onto 18th, and grabbing a coffee. The atmosphere is semi-industrial, with bar-top seating that overlooks the sidewalk so you can people-watch if you like, or an upstairs area with a few tables.

Excellent cappuccino, served with friendly smiles. Window seating looks out on some interesting old town architecture.

The honey badger latte is their specialty, but you really can't go wrong with any of their drinks. There's some barstool seating at the windows, but otherwise this is more of a grab and go spot. I usually go for coffee shops that are more work-in friendly, but today I wasn't with anyone with any particular working needs, so I decided to swing by. By swing by, I meant circle around. Not friendly to drivers needing to park. I managed to get a break when a utility truck pulled out from the curb right in front of the shop, right as I was swore a rash vow to move onto a coffee shop with better parking. Shop overall is small, but does have some good counter seating, stools with no backs, outlets, and solid wi-fi. Did some reading and working throughout the morning, and saw all of the usual suspects come through: a fire crew, fitness moms with their newborn babies, the local elderly couple just here for black coffee, etc. Seems like a good trickle, but never supremely busy (pun intended) at any given time. Smooth jazz on the speakers today also made working pretty sweet! Staff don't seem the friendliest but not outright rude, but they were professional and prompt. Good enough for me! As for the coffee, it was solid, but nothing that I'd go out of my way for. Just had a latte with regular milk, and it was a good compliment to working. Overall, given the difficulty of access, I'm probably not going out of my way to stop by. But for a good cup of coffee if I'm in the area, happy to revisit.

It is a very small shop, so there are only a few tables inside, along with a few outside depending on the weather. Although small, the interior is clean and cozy. A single restroom is available. Parking is on the street. Mild noise level. They have a good amount of drink options, including rotating specials, as well as pastries, bread, and misc items like granola and coffee beans. The drinks are delicious - definitely recommend their matcha. The pastries are huge, flavorful, and filling. Slightly dry but I did go right before closing. They have a nice variety of flavors (both sweet and savory), so most palettes will be satisfied. Prices are definitely fair. If I weren't just a traveler passing through, this would easily become a regular spot for me. It's at least on the "must return to" list! 10/10 recommend.
