I had the yummiest Thai Chicken salad there earlier this week. The workers were cheerful, the place was bright and clean, the salad came out right away and it had the modification that I had requested ( no cucumber). All of the ingredients were amazingly fresh. There wasn't a single bit of lettuce with any bad spots and the chicken was freshly made with no chewy spots. You can bet I will go out of my way to eat here again. read more

My husband and I ate lunch here today after seeing an article last week in SacBee on the Top 50 places to eat in Sacramento, according to Yelp. We live in Fair Oaks and were excited to see a place near home on the list. When we arrived, Good Eats was warm and cozy inside, and the woman at the counter was very friendly and offered us a physical menu with item descriptions. We thought it was so great that sandwiches come with your choice of organic spring mix salad OR macaroni salad, and a cookie (bonus!) and the lunch combo made it so we didn't need to get any chips as a side. I ordered the Pastrami Extreme and my husband got Chipotle Turkey Club. The bread had just come out of the oven and was warm and fresh. Both sandwiches were wrapped tightly and not messy at all once we started digging in. The flavors were excellent and produce was very fresh and crisp. The macaroni salad was very tasty, too. My husband said the chocolate chip cookie gave him a sensory memory from his childhood...eating sugar cookies waiting for Sesame Street on Ice to start lol. We both would highly recommend this great lunch spot, and can't wait to try some other things on the menu. read more

Good Eats Deli - Pastrami Extreme with macaroni salad and a chocolate chip cookie - Delis Near Me - Fair Oaks, California

The fresh baked bread and rolls are heavenly and the star of the show. We tried the chicken pesto sandwich on a French roll and the albacore tuna on the Dutch crunch. We ordered online to pick up and was pleased with the generous servings. He asked for avocado to be put on his tuna, but it didn't happen. We both had macaroni salad for our side, but should've stuck with a green salad because the macaroni was rather blah. The chocolate chip cookie was large and full of chocolate. A bit too sweet for my taste, but Mr. S gobbled it down. read more

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Everything os homemade and made from scratch front the breads, desserts, and much more! The owner Sam is such a sweetie as well and very kind. Amazing and if your a foodie welcome to sandwich heaven! The best in all of Sacramento read more

Good Eats Deli - Delis Near Me - Fair Oaks, California

Have been coming here almost every week for the last year. The only other sandwich spot I go to is Mendocino Farms which if you've had it this would be the closest competitor so very high praises. Family owned and operated and they very nice. The side/cookie inclusions are a nice surprise as well. Bread is pretty tasty I believe they make it in house and the quality of ingredients is fantastic. Real roast chicken, slow roasted tomatoes, homemade pesto, high quality cheese that even gives a cheese pull when it's nice and hot. You can see that with 170 reviews they have an almost perfect 5 stars so if you're on the fence on where to go you SHOULD just go here it's no question. read more

I found this little place on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! I got the pesto chicken sandwich based on the recommendation of another customer who was there and it was fantastic. He said he always goes there when he is in town. I can see why. It had a lot of flavor, was very fresh and the bread was so soft. Delicious! The woman working there (seemed like the owner?) clearly has a lot of pride in the business. The homemade cookie she included was such a perfect little treat. I'm looking forward to returning. read more

I found this place by chance as I was craving a fresh deli sandwich. Safe to say I will be returning ! I ordered a chipotle beef sandwich and it was not disappointing. You can taste the fresh ingredient and quality meat. Not stingy with the meat but could use more produce. I ate to go but they have available seating for you, nothing too fancy, more casual. They also have us a cookie and macaroni salad on the side. The salad was not the greatest as it was lacking is seasoning but the complimentary cookie was not bad. I shared a sandwich and found it to be the perfect amount of food. Pleasant brothers working there. I am satisfied read more

Best sandwiches around, and the service is wonderful. The owners are very sweet and want to make sure that you are pleased and that everything tastes great. This place is great! Everyone should taste this food. I had pastrami and my girl had chicken pesto. We both loved it!

We got some sandwiches for a lunch meeting. Really tasty! Very well made with fresh bread (not an overly crusty loaf that cuts up your mouth, which I appreciated), fresh veg and good meats and deli cheese. Well packed sandwiches with good ratio of bread to sandwich "filling." I got a turkey and cheese sandwich, but can't wait to try their paninis and breakfast sandos! read more

As opposed to "Elif W." Review of this location to which I find absolutely preposterous and outright a lie. I was physically dining at the deli at the same hour of her review posted thus I can personally say the sandwiches are not at all how she has described them nor are the cookies and it appears she's trying to advertise another location. But first and fore most let me just say that I have been coming to this deli for a little over a year now and have been getting a pastrami extreme as well as some of their breakfast items, tuna sandwich, chicken pesto basil and not once has the bread come out soggy, it's always soft as it's fresh made in house as well as with the complimentary cookie that was so fresh that the chocolate chips were gooey as I bit into it. I felt as if I had to write this review after seeing that one bashing this location saying the food was a complete opposite then what I and a multitude of individuals experienced. It's a family owned deli that has been around for years and it's always the same (assuming) couple that are there making everything in house! read more

This was the best find. Everything is so fresh and made in house. The owners were so friendly. Definitely a business I want to support.

Stopped here after thrifting and it hit the spot! The bread was fresh and soft they had two options. I sat outside because it was nice out, tables were clean and chairs were comfy. I'd stop by again for sure. read more

Good Eats Deli - The Club Sandwich - Delis Near Me - Fair Oaks, California

I am really not sure why this place has so many five star reviews. They are okay, but not off the charts. The lady was awkward and almost a bit rude with me but extremely friendly and attentive towards the other customers who came in. The food okay but i wouldn't call it delicious. It's a nice less processed alternitave to fast food. I'd only go back if i was out of options during my lunch break. The guy who made the sandwiches was very quick, so kudos to him! read more

I stopped in here on accident because I was in the area for my daughter's appointment. The owners immediately greeted me as soon as I walked in the door, were very pleasant and helpful in answering every question I had about the menu. My daughter ordered the Chipotle Turkey Club and it came with a Caesar salad she loved. The restaurant was very clean and organized and I willI definitely be coming back. read more
