Laundry Genius is modern compared to the surrounding laundry mats. Coins are not used at all. Cash and/or credit/EBT cards are transferred to a Laundry Genius laundry card (think grocery store savings cards). There is a $1 service charge applied to the first transaction. Be sure to save this card for future uses to avoid the $ service charge each time. Pricing is clearly listed at the card terminal area. Laundry Genius doesn't open as early as other mats do; opening is at 9am. Last wash is at 7:30pm. Indoors is spacious and bright. Washing and dryer machines are plentiful. Several rolling basket carts are available to assist with laundry transportation. There is a good deal of seats for those who wish to stay on-site while doing their laundry. Vending machines are on site providing laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. I spend around $18 to wash my comforter and around $3.50 to dry it. At first, I was shocked at the price difference from surrounding mats; however, you get what you pay for. Increased pricing saves me time by not having to search high and low for quarters. Quality and the quantity of machines ensures that I do not have to wait for availability or continue to add time and money to drying times. I appreciate that the staff are constantly walking around wiping down machines, sweeping and replacing laundry carts to their correct location making my entire experience feel clean and efficient.

Little did I realize they were a gem of the Lynnwood scene for a long time. I needed to get my daughter's prom dress cleaned quickly. Like I wrote above--a two-day turnaround. The staff didn't bat an eye. "Of course we can do it." Those golden words singing from their lips nearly gave me an out-of-body experience. The result? Perfection. The dress looks great. Daughter is pleased. They have my business moving forward.

I first called and asked for compensation. They asked to bring it back in so I did. Not even apologetic but blamed on the store where I bought it. I understand they followed the instruction on the label, but the fact that the sweater got shrunk was their fault and should've taken the responsibility when I just brought in, but they wanted to try to stretch it out. Obviously it didn't work so I had to go back again. They kept saying it's not their fault and the guy started telling me that I didn't understand like mocking me. When you brought in something and came back with damage, who would be responsible? He even asked me to buy again and bring the receipt then he said he would reimburse it. He finally compensate for the damage but after going back many times. So sad to experience this after all those years we've used them.

However I dropped off a 3-pc suit to get dry cleaned, and expecting it would also get "pressed" as part of the price of $60. When I got home and took these pieces out of the plastic covers, this is what I saw. I had to use a lint brush to remove all the hair and lint. That was just part of it....wrinkled garments worse condition then when they were dropped off.
