Just last weekend, I got a 60-minute massage and a 30-minute foot massage and it was everything I needed. The music is tranquil and the vibe is chill! The only two issues I have is the rooms are not private as the walls don't go to the ceiling and there is no door to the room, only a sheet. The folks that work there can be heard in the back talking among themselves, which doesn't always provide a relaxing atmosphere. Regardless, I highly recommend this place and will be back every time I am in the area!

Every massage was so thoughtfully done and catered to my current state, I can recommend their massage specialists enough! When looking for post-op after care you want it to feel like home, and this is exactly what Magic Post op was for me! Did I also mention their healing herbal tea is amazing? The recommendations for the supplies I would need such as rajas, foams and boards were spot on. The ones I originally got were not the best but based of their recommendations I as able to get the exact level of compression I needed. They also referred me to alteration specialists to adjust my faja as my size changed during the recovery. The attention to detail, the quality of the oils and just the overall atmosphere was such a healing experience. On my first few visits, they provided 2 towels and a robe; then they switched to no robe but 3 towels; and then only 2 towels and no robe! I've seen people rally and ask for a robe and/or more towels, but imo people shouldn't have to ask: a robe and at least 2 towels should be the default. There's also a cafe upstairs, but it is often closed without notice. When it is open, the service is usually very slow, and sometimes they get the order wrong. They also sometimes invent new ways to be a cafe (there was a short-lived experiment where they had people place orders downstairs, and then wander upstairs whenever they suspected their order may be ready), but it doesn't need to be complicated--just have a person at the cafe to take orders and then fulfill those orders. With that said, the amenities (saunas, pools, etc.) are great and incredibly restorative, as are the services (scrubs, massages, etc.), and employees and customers alike have always been nice. I'm very glad Brooklyn Bathhouse is in the neighborhood; my only other recommendation would be getting rid of the two hour notice requirement to book a day pass, because then I would pop by even more!

This meant driving to Brooklyn from my business which is on Long Island. Having seen some videos and stories on Nick's page, I could actually feel the healing and genuinely compassionate energy that Nick has coming through. As a Massage Therapist myself, it is sometimes difficult to find someone who can truly connect with your needs and can provide a treatment based on them. So many therapists just go through the technical motions without any intention or true involvement in the healing process. Nick is the real deal. The moment you meet him you can feel his true care and concern for your well being.
