Beautiful little bakeshop on Colfax. They are not open M-W and sell out early on the days they are open due to popularity, so I went early on Friday morning. The selection is quite large and unique with some rotating specials. We tried the Kimchi pastry which was unique and tasted spicy as expected. My standard for judgement is the Pain Au Chocolate - very fresh ingredients and prepared well. Two things I may change is that the inside was a bit doughy and not fully cooked. Also, there was an overpowering salty taste and I saw the top appeared to be sprinkled with sea salt. Not necessary and detracts from the taste. The almond croissant was perfection and I was lucky to taste it while still warm. The staff was very friendly and I do plan to go back regularly and try new items.

Unbelievably delicious baked goods. High recommend any of their doughnuts and the almond croissant. So yum!

Get your fresh bread from here, simple. Place is small, located off colfax. Gets busy quickly. Staff super friendly. Their bread is superb. Also tried a croissant which frankly was nothing special, wasn't bad but there are better spots for pastries around town. I would definitely return here for a loaf

Walked past good bakery and had to stop- has a cute patio setting outside for individuals to enjoy their food. Service was quick upon arrival. Opens at 8 and closes once they sell out, we arrived at 10:45 AM and they were closed to selling out, had about 10 pastries left and some pieces of loaf bread. Recommend to bring family/friends who are out of town here! Close to the highway to head to boulder adter

Very good pastry, flaky and fresh, I wish I could have tried all of them. The roasted carrot one had very little filling that's why only 4 starts today. I will go back even if it's far away from me.

Ok I love this place. I think that their pizza is overpriced and not worth it, but their pastries are absolutely the best in Denver. I would only be able to give it 4 stars because their pizza is not my favorite. I will also say I have gone a lot, and sometimes the staff is not very nice, but also everyone has bad days. When they have the brioche with the apple filling get it their donuts are also my favorite. Several times I have gone and left with warm pastries fresh out of the oven. Heaven. Sadly, The pizza is always better found somewhere else.

Just the most perfect, satisfying and flavorful tomato croissant with bacon. Absolutely to die for!

This took over the #2 spot in my bakery list The ham and cheese croissant is the best I've tried in Denver across 2 other bakeries I know I've had other ham and cheeses at. The rest of them must of all blended together The chocolate almond wasn't bad, a lot of chocolate and almond paste filling also I'm not a fan of sliced almonds topping most things. Maybe a salad The cookie was pretty huge and had the right bite: crispy edges then a soft middle. Greatness I just had the salt bagel this morning it's definitely better than a Costco bagel. And the cream cheese they sell seems whipped so you can save your wrist from hardened cream cheese spreading. You have enough to deal with in the morning

Amazing food! We had the scramble toast and breakfast sandwich for brunch. The scramble toast had super fluffy eggs and had a great addition of crème fraiche, dill, and salmon roe. The salmon roe was a bit small and hard but to be fair it's not a sushi restaurant doin not going to say too much about that. I thought my bread was cut too thick and was a bit too toasted to the point of being burnt. However, the dish as a whole with the well dressed salad on the side was delicious. The breakfast sandwich had wonderful bread and bacon on it, the eggs were not as fluffy. We also tried the kimchi cheddar danish, the croissant, and the passion fruit chocolate cruffin. The danish was worked super well together and was great. I thought the taste of the sweet cheese in the middle was strange at first with the kimchi but as I ate it, the flavors melded better together. The passion fruit cruffin was amazing! The best cruffin I've ever had! There was so much filling and it wasn't too sweet. The passion fruit part had so much flavor and was super tart but delicious. The chocolate croissant was a solid croissant. Great layers, flakiness, and loved the addition of flaky salt on top. Can't complain there. Service was decent but it did take them like 20 minutes to bring our food out and the eating part wasn't particularly crowded. We got there around 9:30 on Sunday and everything was in stock except two pastries that had fruit filling. By the time we left around 10:30-11 everything was almost sold out except the bagels and some loaves of bread. The parking situation is small but the lot wasn't full and we got a spot. There was quite a line sometimes but it seems like most people get pastries to go rather than eat them there. Eating spaces were spacious and clean.

This is a gem that we happen to live within walking distance to. Be ready to arrive right at opening time to get your pick of laminated heaven before they start running out. You can't go wrong with anything they offer, but I personally love love love the cardamom bun. It's drizzled in just the right amount of cardamom syrup with the perfect ratio of crispy outer crust and buttery soft crumb. Don't overlook the savory items, which include their stuffed croissants, sandwiches and other pastries. Lastly, don't forget to take home some bread!! They do half-loaves, and your future self will thank you profusely

Words can't describe how wonderful this bake shop is!! I came here in preparation for a brunch of 5 people at someone's home, and since I don't cook, this expensive purchase was my contribution. Yes, the pastries are pricy but totally worthwhile. As they advertise, get here EARLY because the line gets long and the goods run out... then they close altogether. Good mix of sweet and savory options. Flavors are pretty subtle so nothing too overpowering. My favorite was the flaky roll topped with za'atar seasoning. Most people visiting Good Bread walked out with a small box of 2-3 pastries, and the bakers even commented how lucky my group of friends was for an entire box. They were a huge hit at the brunch and everyone was impressed!

A superb understated bakery. You will easily drive pass the house like structure off of East Califax. I had my ham and cheese croissant at a nearby park, and I couldn't wait to dig into my other items. Flaky fluffy goodness to start any day. I had their "Cara Cara?" for afternoon tea, and it was fantastic. Brioche like texture with frangipane topped with pistachios and an orange slice. As tasty as it looks. I had their crusty country loaf and it was perfect for sandwiches. They also have a selection of doughnuts. Easy parking with the front lot, but easy to miss so look for the sign. Your only disappointment will be if they are closed or sold out. Open half the week and once they are sold out, they close. I got there at 10 AM on a Thursday, and most items were still available. More of take out type of place.

I am a devoted fan of their bakery and finally made a resy for their Thursday/Friday pizza night and I was not disappointed. The pizza is simply delish with amazing crust and loaded with pepperoni and sausage. Serious so good. We also ordered the salad which was also good. I felt as if the pizza is a hybrid of NY and Neapolitan. A few comments - it was hot as shit dining and please have a larger water container with COLD water. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is nothing and hot. You walk in and confirm your reservation and the host tells you your table #. Take a menu, sit down then walk to register and order. You will also pay at register on your way out. Nothing fancy or high tech - just solid pizza.

My Texas friends have been raving about The Salty for ages. Unfortunately never tried it with them but now we have one here in Denver. Score. They have a handful of standard staples and then they do donuts for holidays, special events, the Super Bowl for instance. That being said this isn't a donut you grab and eat later that day or even the next morning. FRESH. Please eat these within twelve hours. Really just speaks to their quality but it's not a break room donut that hangs around for a day or two and the chemicals nuclear apocalypse preserve them like a Twinkie. Hot and cold drinks are available. Water. Juice boxes for the kids. Beloved Coke a cola. Standard cold brew, cortado, americano, lattes, and matcha. But they also do special seasonal drinks and drinks that pair exceptionally well with their donuts. Inside you have a handful of seats but for this area of Tennyson/Berkley it's more of a grab and go. You have the nearby park and obviously all the shops up and down the street. Plus what cute cups and boxes for donuts. It's a statement piece for sure. What a cute little donut logo. I somehow feel that the Call Your Mother bagel and Salty Donut are cousins at best. Seriously, check their fun logos! You can order to go online via their app/website/ or the wonderful InKind app. They even have a to go window so you can stay outside with your furry friend and get your caffeine and sugar fix to go. Staff is quick and friendly. Lines can take a bit on the weekends but during the weekday it's a quick in and out. They open early too so anytime before nine you can pretty much order and go. Welcome addition to the neighborhood. Will certainly seek them out on trips to other cities. Love their vibe and look. Very curious to see all the other stores and get their individual flavor or neighborhood vibe.

This gave off cumbl cookie vibes... don't get me wrong, it was clean and pretty, just not what I was expecting. The service was subpar at best. There was no one in here, so when we walked in, it seemed like an inconvenience to serve us. We wanted to looked at their rotating doughnuts to make a choice about a second doughnut but felt very rushed by the man behind the counter. We got the voodoo doughnut and dirt. The variety of toppings makes it fun to mix and match. The Thai Peanut was unique and surprisingly good, but the Mexican Chocolate was the clear favorite at the table. I had the avocado toast. The side salad was a standout -- spinach, small orange slices, and a berry vinaigrette. Super fresh, light, and refreshing. My husband got the biscuits and gravy and said it had great flavor with a nice kick of spice. Vegetarian options were clearly labeled, with a note to ask about vegan swaps. The service, unfortunately, didn't match the food. We waited at the door for at least 10 minutes without being acknowledged. After we were seated, our server started taking our order but stopped midway to run someone else's food. We also never got water refills, and with just one napkin each for donuts and a full meal, I found myself folding and refolding mine a million different ways. I forgot a photograph all the food that we ate, but I did take a picture of the donut holes. We got the four pack that consisted of the cream anglaise, the lemon, and the Mexican chocolate. They were good, not too sweet, I would've preferred that they were stuffed with the filling because I think it would've made them taste even better. One of my sisters and I ended up getting the biscuits and gravy. She got the ultimate and I got the southern. Both were absolutely delicious and came with these really yummy potatoes. My other sister got the lox Benedict and ate it so unbelievably fast that I didn't even have a chance to see what it looked like. My stepmom ended up getting a scramble of some sort and she said it was fantastic. The restaurant staff was very kind and courteous, and the restaurant was very clean. I did get an opportunity to use the restroom and while it was very much covered in graffiti and stickers, it was clean and they did have a changing table for kids. We ended up splitting up our checks and they came out to about $22 a person, including my coffee, my entrée and my doughnuts. I would actually recommend this place. I think it is very kid friendly and a really neat place to visit.
