The experience began with the Fireside's well-loved brunch, which felt relaxed, festive, and perfect for a Sunday outing. From fresh pastries and fruit smoothies to a generous buffet featuring chef-carved meats, Eggs Benedict, breakfast favorites, and a Bailey's Irish Cream cheesecake for dessert, brunch was a highlight all on its own. The matinee performance of A Wonderful Life captured everything audiences love about the classic story of George Bailey and Bedford Falls. The live musical stayed true to the heart of the film, celebrating kindness, community, and the reminder that every life has meaning. . The service throughout the afternoon was outstanding, and special recognition goes to Keegan, whose hard work, attentiveness, and professionalism truly stood out. Most of all, I enjoyed making a new memory with my family. The afternoon felt meaningful, joyful, and unhurried--exactly what a holiday outing should be, and one I would happily return for again.

One ordered the Steak Diane and the rest of us ordered the butterflied shrimp with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Everyone enjoyed their orders along with two excellent breads; crispy crusted white and a maple nut bread that was especially tasty. The dessert was ice cream rolled in nuts with a sweet rolled wafer, and it was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. The show was a mix. At times it was fun, with upbeat songs and good jokes that landed well. At other times the humor fell flat and dialogue went low. So the rating would be a 5 for the food and venue and a 3 for the show. Will definitely be back, as it's always a good experience.

I had a great meal and glad my daughter and Me ate there. I had their ribeye and ordered shrimp as an add on. Steak cooked as I ordered and had that great char flavor. Oh so good. As to the add on shrimp. Jumbo and fresh. They breaded and deep fried again a great addition to the meal. My daughter had a gyro. She found it delightful and enjoyed eating it. Service was great and staff was attentive without being intrusive. As to ambiance this is a bar that serves great food. Little loud but not unbearable. There is ample free parking in the lot next to the establishment. Plenty of seating at the bar and more seating in the dining area. Music playing at a level that still allows for conversation. We always enjoy a well made, hand muddled old fashioned (or two). There are many appetizers to choose from and they have come well prepared and in nice portions. There always seems to be a fair number of regulars, which should be a good sign for anyone visiting. When we visit Fort Atkinson, we will surely return.

We were first timers to this venue--tickets are purchased beforehand and with about 60 seats, they assign seats. There is no bad seat. The acoustics and atmosphere are great. The listening room is cozy but the setup is nice and the acoustics are good. Drove up from IL because of the concert. The place is lovely, with a cool, quirky vibe. Got there early for eats. It was a Monday - they were open only because of the concert that evening, therefore the menu was very limited. The only reason I chose to eat there at all was because they referenced in their ticket confirmation email that food and drink was their bread and butter, so I wanted to oblige them on that score. The pasta was so so. I went as a single female. I'm pretty sure I was the only solo flier there. This is, to a large extent, a place where everybody knows everybody. I felt out of place. I've been to a number of concerts etc. on my own in the past and typically meet people that will chat and engage you. Not here. That was disappointing. The strangers I met at McDonald's and the gas station during the drive up and back were friendlier. Would not go there alone again. There is a screened porch that looks out over the river - this is where you are seated to eat. You can wander out there during intermission. The river. The river was very welcoming indeed.

This said, while charming... sitting by the windows in the winter is a bit chilly. I had a rye Manhattan crafted with the local Dancing Goat distillery Rey... while I don't think this distillery is as of yet actually distilling- rather they are barrel aging their spirits... the manhattan was very good. The menu is not huge and that's fine. Big, poorly crafted menus don't really add to dining experiences. In addition to the menu several nightly specials were offered. I opted for one of them, a nice baked/broiled cod... actually seemed like it was pan seared in a French technique of basting with butter. In any case, it was very nice... I quite fancied it. I substituted a twice baked potato for the rice pilaf after seeing one being delivered to a nearby table. The cod was laid on a little bed of greens and came with reasonably portioned side of glazed carrots. My companion had the raspberry salad and was quite pleased with it. We did also start with an order of onion rings... also because I saw an order going out for service. Large, crunchy rings with a side of ranch... really quite tasty. Would I go to Plow again... sure, might avoid a window seat in the winter, and or go in warmer weather as it looks like they probably have a great patio.

We were very close to the kitchen area. Their pizza oven is cool, I think I should have ordered pizza. We ordered onion rings and a meatball for apps. We asked the waitress if that was too much for an app and she said no but when it came out it could have been our meal. The portions are huge. Wish we would have known. The onion rings were good but the meatball didn't have much flavor. The waitress was nice and checked in often. Unfortunately, our app order was submitted with our dinner order so everything came out all at the same time. It's always a bit overwhelming when that happens and ends up being too much food to eat at once. It would have been nice to be spaced out, especially with big portions. I had fried chicken and fries and my husband had a pasta dish. Both dishes were rich so we didn't eat too much. The table behind us ordered the pizza which looked good! They do have an awesome patio and the night we were here they had live music with an outdoor bar. Great vibe! They have a great location right on the main street with easy street parking. We are not in a rush to return, however I think they have a lot of potential.

Good afternoon. Easter Brunch Sunday is a busy time!…read more I'll start off by saying, we have had great service and food in the past. We really enjoyed our visits. Here's the skinny: One month ago I made reservations for five. This morning I had to change the number for the reservation due to family illness. Myself and my significant other decided to keep the reservation for two. Our reservation was changed from 11:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This wasn't a big deal to us. We understood the possibilities. At 11:19 a.m. we arrived in plenty of time before our respective reservation time at 11:30 a.m. The gal at the front desk stated that it would be a little time before our table would be ready due to a previous reservation was still at our soon to be table. We decided to grab a drink while waiting at the bar. At 11:31a.m. I walked up to ask when our table would be ready. The gal stated that the table would be ready in a few minutes. Okay, perfect. Well, 6 people showed up between 11:31 a.m. and 11:39 a.m. All 6 people were sat immediately. I then overheard the conversation of the gal at the desk and a waitress who sat 2 couples of the 6 people before us. She stated, "oops! I sat the wrong two people, oh well." I said to myself, hmmm. Interesting. At 11:42 a.m. we were shown our seats. Okay, no apologies by the gal at the desk. I moved on. Food time! Food looked amazing, except both dishes, poached eggs and an egg dish were not properly cooked. The egg dish was without a doubt, undercooked. The egg dish was asked to be sent back. The poached eggs were not asked to go back. I had no problem with eating cold, not properly cooked poached eggs. They're poached, what could go wrong? Service. Our bar tender was great! She was receptive to our needs and made great drinks! Our waitress was okay, nothing but average. She checked on us three times and a fourth time with the bill. This is what really upset me! After paying for our bill, the gal at the desk walked up to our table stating, "We are more than welcome to stay and continue our Easter brunch at the bar, but she needed to turn our table for the next reservation." I looked at my watch. It was 12:31 p.m.. WOW!!! I was a little thrown back, surprised by the audacity of being asked to leave. This was not our fault that the previous diners were leaving late nor that the waitress sat other guests before us at our 11:30 a.m. reservation and that the food was undercooked and not done that suddenly WE had to leave our table?!?!?! WOW! I'm not sure how the owners are with treating their customers would feel. Feel free to contact me.

We arrived early for our reservation planning to have a drink at the bar while we waited but our table was ready so we were given the option to be seated right away. Definitely see why people recommend it.
